Funk-Wetterstation
Einleitung
Wir beglückwünschen Sie zum Kauf Ihres neuen Produkts. Sie haben sich damit für
ein hochwertiges Produkt entschieden. Die Bedienungsanleitung ist Teil dieses
Produkts. Sie enthält wichtige Hinweise für Sicherheit, Gebrauch und Entsorgung.
Machen Sie sich vor der Benutzung des Produkts mit allen Bedien- und Sicherheits-
hinweisen vertraut. Benutzen Sie das Produkt nur wie beschrieben und für die an-
gegebenen Einsatzbereiche. Händigen Sie alle Unterlagen bei Weitergabe des
Produkts an Dritte mit aus.
Bestimmungsgemäße Verwendung
Die Wetterstation zeigt die Innen- und Außentemperatur in Celsius (°C) oder Fahren-
heit (°F) sowie deren Maximal- und Minimalwerte an. Ebenso die Innen- und Außen-
luftfeuchtigkeit (% RH) sowie deren Maximal- und Minimalwerte. Weitere Anzeigewerte
der Wetterstation sind die Wetterprognose, die Zeit im 12- / 24-Stundenformat sowie
das Datum. Ferner zeigt die Wetterstation die Uhrzeit des täglichen Sonnenauf- und
Sonnenuntergangs und die Mondphasen an. Des Weiteren verfügt die Wetterstation
über zwei verschiedene Alarmfunktionen. Dieses Produkt ist ausschließlich für den
privaten Haushalt und nicht für den gewerblichen Einsatz bestimmt.

Allgemeine Sicherheitshinweise
Kinder unterschätzen häufig die Gefahren.
Halten Sie Kinder stets vom Produkt fern.
Dieses Produkt kann von Kindern ab 8 Jahren und darüber sowie von Personen
mit verringerten physischen, sensorischen oder mentalen Fähigkeiten oder Man-
gel an Erfahrung und Wissen benutzt werden, wenn sie beaufsichtigt oder be-
züglich des sicheren Gebrauchs des Produkts unterwiesen wurden und die
daraus resultierenden Gefahren verstehen. Kinder dürfen nicht mit dem Produkt
spielen. Reinigung und Benutzerwartung dürfen nicht von Kindern ohne Beauf-
sichtigung durchgeführt werden.
Nehmen Sie das Produkt nicht in Betrieb, wenn es beschädigt ist.

LEBENSGEFAHR! Halten Sie Batterien / Akkus außer Reichweite von
Kindern. Suchen Sie im Falle eines Verschluckens sofort einen Arzt auf!

EXPLOSIONSGEFAHR! Laden Sie nicht aufladbare Batterien
niemals wieder auf. Schließen Sie Batterien / Akkus nicht kurz
und / oder öffnen Sie diese nicht. Überhitzung, Brandgefahr oder
Platzen können die Folge sein.
Werfen Sie Batterien / Akkus niemals in Feuer oder Wasser.
Setzen Sie Batterien / Akkus keiner mechanischen Belastung aus.
Risiko des Auslaufens von Batterien / Akkus
Vermeiden Sie extreme Bedingungen und Temperaturen, die auf Batterien /
Akkus einwirken können z. B. auf Heizkörpern / direkte Sonneneinstrahlung.
Wenn Batterien / Akkus ausgelaufen sind, vermeiden Sie den Kontakt von
Haut, Augen und Schleimhäuten mit den Chemikalien! Spülen Sie die
betroffenen Stellen sofort mit klarem Wasser und suchen Sie einen Arzt auf!
SCHUTZHANDSCHUHE TRAGEN! Ausgelaufene oder beschä-
digte Batterien / Akkus können bei Berührung mit der Haut Verätzungen
verursachen. Tragen Sie deshalb in diesem Fall geeignete Schutz-
handschuhe.
Im Falle eines Auslaufens der Batterien / Akkus entfernen Sie diese sofort aus
dem Produkt, um Beschädigungen zu vermeiden.
Verwenden Sie nur Batterien / Akkus des gleichen Typs. Mischen Sie nicht alte
Batterien / Akkus mit neuen!
Entfernen Sie die Batterien / Akkus, wenn das Produkt längere Zeit nicht
verwendet wird.

Risiko der Beschädigung des Produkts
Verwenden Sie ausschließlich den angegebenen Batterietyp / Akkutyp!
Setzen Sie Batterien / Akkus gemäß der Polaritätskennzeichnung (+) und (-) an
Batterie / Akku und des Produkts ein.
Reinigen Sie Kontakte an Batterie / Akku und im Batteriefach vor dem Einlegen!
Entfernen Sie erschöpfte Batterien / Akkus umgehend aus dem Produkt.
Vor der Inbetriebnahme
Geräte aufstellen
Setzen Sie die Batterien zuerst in den Außenfühler, dann erst in die
Wetterstation.
VORSICHT! Stellen Sie bei der Wahl des Aufstellortes sicher, dass die Geräte
keiner direkten Sonneneinstrahlung, Vibration, Staub, Hitze, Kälte und Feuchtigkeit
ausgesetzt sind. Stellen Sie die Geräte nicht in der Nähe von Hitzequellen, z. B.
Heizkörpern, auf. Andernfalls droht eine Beschädigung der Geräte.
Stellen Sie die Geräte nicht ohne geeigneten Schutz auf wertvolle oder
empfindliche Oberflächen. Andernfalls können diese beschädigt werden.

Stellen Sie sicher, dass benachbarte Geräte nicht mit der gleichen Frequenz
von 433 MHz betrieben werden. Diese Geräte können eine Störung der
Funkverbindung verursachen.
Stellen Sie die Geräte nicht neben oder auf Metallplatten. Die Funkübertragung
zwischen den Geräten kann vermindert werden.
Stellen Sie die Geräte nicht in Gebäuden aus Stahlbeton, z. B. Flughäfen,
Hochhäusern, Fabriken oder Kellern, auf. Die Funkübertragung zwischen den
Geräten kann stark beeinträchtigt werden.
Außenfühler in Betrieb nehmen
Entfernen Sie die Batteriefachabdeckung auf der Rückseite des Außenfühlers.
Entfernen Sie den Batterie-Sicherungsstreifen. Der Außenfühler ist nun betriebs-
bereit und die Kontroll-LED 41 leuchtet kurz auf.
Schließen Sie die Batteriefachabdeckung.
Außenfühler montieren:
Hinweis: Sie benötigen für diesen Arbeitsschritt eine Bohrmaschine.
Suchen Sie einen geeigneten Platz für den Außenfühler.
Hinweis: Achten Sie darauf, dass Sie den Außenfühler in einem Umkreis von
30 m zur Wetterstation montieren. Stellen Sie sicher, dass sich keine störenden

Hindernisse zwischen Außenfühler und Wetterstation befinden. Andernfalls
kann die Übertragung der Daten gestört werden.
Wandmontage:
Hängen Sie den Außenfühler mit der Aufhängevorrichtung 42 an eine
Schraube.
Wetterstation in Betrieb nehmen
Batterie-Sicherungsstreifen entfernen:
Öffnen Sie das Batteriefach 40 auf der Rückseite der Wetterstation.
Ziehen Sie den Batterie-Sicherungsstreifen heraus.
Schließen Sie das Batteriefach anschließend wieder.
Sobald der Batterie-Sicherungsstreifen entfernt ist, startet die Wetterstation den
Empfang des Funksignals.
Hinweis: Wechseln Sie während des Empfangs nicht den Standort der Wetterstation.
Andernfalls kann es zu Empfangsstörungen kommen.
Wetterstation mit dem Außenfühler und dem DCF-Funksignal verbinden:
Die Wetterstation versucht nach dem Entfernen des Batterie-Sicherungsstreifens eine
Verbindung zum Außenfühler herzustellen. Dieser Vorgang kann einige Minuten

dauern. Das -Symbol blinkt einige Minuten lang. Bei erfolgreicher Verbindung zum
Außenfühler wird im LC-Display das gewählte Kanal-Symbol 27 mit dem Kanal des
Außenfühlers angezeigt (Wechseln Sie ggf. den Kanal des Außenfühlers gem. des
Kapitels „Kanal einstellen“). Kann keine automatische Verbindung hergestellt wer-
den, kann dies folgendermaßen manuell geschehen:
1. Drücken Sie die Kanal-Taste (CH) 37. Das Symbol des ausgewählten Kanals
27 blinkt im LC-Display. Außentemperatur 25 und Luftfeuchtigkeit (Außen) 22
zeigen „--._“ an, die Wetterstation empfängt nun das Signal des Außenfühlers.
2. Drücken Sie dann die RESET-Taste 43 des Außenfühlers. Die Wetterstation
zeigt die aktuelle Außentemperatur 25 und Luftfeuchtigkeit (Außen) 22 an.
Sobald die Wetterstation eine Verbindung zum Außenfühler hergestellt hat, beginnt
sie automatisch, das DCF-Funksignal zu empfangen. Dieser Vorgang nimmt einige
Minuten in Anspruch und wird im LC-Display durch das blinkende Funkturm-Symbol 5
angezeigt.
Bei erfolgreichem Empfang des DCF-Funksignals wird das Funkturm-Symbol dauerhaft
im LC-Display angezeigt. Wenn zum Zeitpunkt der Inbetriebnahme keine Synchroni-
sation mit der Atomuhr möglich ist, können Sie die Uhrzeiteinstellungen auch manuell
vornehmen (siehe „12- / 24-Stundenformat / °C / °F / hPa / inHg / Zeitzone / Uhr-
zeit / Datum / Sprache manuell einstellen“).

Funksignal (DCF):
Das DCF-Signal (Zeitsignalsender) besteht aus Zeitimpulsen, die von einer der
genauesten Uhren der Welt, in der Nähe von Frankfurt / Main, Deutschland,
abgegeben werden.
Ihre Wetterstation empfängt diese Signale unter optimalen Bedingungen bis zu einer
Distanz von ca. 2000 km um Frankfurt / Main. Der Empfang des Funksignals dauert
in der Regel ca. 3–10 Minuten.
Der Empfang kann durch Hindernisse (z. B. Betonwände) oder Störquellen (z. B. andere
elektrische Geräte) erheblich eingeschränkt werden. Verändern Sie gegebenenfalls
den Standort der Wetterstation (z. B. in die Nähe eines Fensters), falls es zu Problemen
beim Empfang kommt.
Bedienung
DCF-Funksignal empfangen
Die Uhr der Wetterstation beginnt nach erfolgreicher Verbindung mit dem Außen-
fühler oder 3 Minuten nach Entfernen des Batterie-Sicherungsstreifens automatisch
mit der Suche nach dem DCF-Funksignal. Die Suche wird im LC-Display durch das
Blinken des Funkturm-Symbols 5 angezeigt.
Hinweis: In Gebäuden aus Stahlbeton kann der Empfang des Funksignals stark
beeinträchtigt werden (siehe „Geräte aufstellen“).

Um eventuelle Abweichungen von der exakten Zeit zu berichtigen, führt die Wetter-
station täglich um 1:00, 2:00 und 03:00 Uhr automatisch eine Synchronisation mit
dem DCF-Funksignal durch.
Der Empfang des DCF-Funksignals kann an der Wetterstation auch manuell gestartet
werden.
Drücken Sie gleichzeitig die + und – -Taste 35, 36. Die Wetterstation versucht,
das DCF-Funksignal zu empfangen. Dieser Vorgang nimmt einige Minuten in
Anspruch und wird im LC-Display durch das blinkende Funkturm-Symbol angezeigt.
Kommt die Verbindung mit dem DCF-Funksignal nicht zustande, wird die Suche
unterbrochen.
Hinweis: Sollte die Uhr der Wetterstation das DCF-Funksignal aufgrund von Fehlern,
einer zu großen Distanz zum Sender o. ä. nicht empfangen können, haben Sie die
Möglichkeit, die Zeit manuell einzustellen. Wenn ein Empfang des DCF-Funksignals
erfolgreich ist, werden die manuell eingestellten Werte überschrieben.

Uhrzeit / Datum / Sprache manuell einstellen
Der Empfang des DCF-Funksignals kann am Aufstellort der Wetterstation gestört bzw.
unterbrochen sein. In diesem Fall haben Sie die Möglichkeit, das Gerät manuell
einzustellen.

Gehen Sie wie folgt vor:
1. Drücken und halten Sie die MODE-Taste 34 ca. 3 Sekunden gedrückt. „12 Hr“
oder „24 Hr“ blinkt im Display. Drücken Sie die + oder – -Taste 35, 36, um
das gewünschte Stundenformat zu wählen.
Hinweis: Das AM-Symbol in der Zeitanzeige 7 steht im 12-Stundenformat
für vormittags. Das PM-Symbol in der Zeitanzeige steht im 12-Stundenformat
für nachmittags.
2. Bestätigen Sie Ihre Eingabe durch Drücken der MODE-Taste. Die Temperatur-
einheit „°C“ oder „°F“ blinkt im Display. Drücken Sie die + oder – -Taste, um
die gewünschte Temperatureinheit zu wählen.
3. Bestätigen Sie Ihre Eingabe durch Drücken der MODE-Taste. Die Luftdruckein-
heit blinkt im Display. Drücken Sie die + oder – -Taste, um die gewünschte
Einheit (hPa / in Hg) einzustellen.
4. Bestätigen Sie Ihre Eingabe durch Drücken der MODE-Taste. Die Zeitzonen-
Anzeige blinkt im Display. Drücken Sie die + oder – -Taste, um den gewünschten
Wert (-2 bis +2) einzustellen.
Hinweis: Sollten Sie sich in einem Land befinden, in dem zwar immer noch
das DCF-Signal empfangen wird, in dem aber die aktuelle Uhrzeit abweicht,
können Sie die Zeitzonen-Einstellung dazu benutzen, um das Produkt auf die
aktuelle Uhrzeit einzustellen. Befinden Sie sich beispielsweise in einem Land, in
dem die Ortszeit eine Stunde vor der Mitteleuropäischen Zeit (MEZ) ist, setzen
Sie die Zeitzone auf + 01. Das Produkt wird zwar jetzt noch von dem DCF-
Signal gesteuert, zeigt aber die Uhrzeit als eine Stunde vor MEZ an.

5. Bestätigen Sie Ihre Eingabe durch Drücken der MODE-Taste. Die Stundenanzeige
der Zeitanzeige blinkt. Drücken Sie die + oder – -Taste, um den gewünschten
Wert einzustellen.
Hinweis: Die Uhrzeit und das Datum werden automatisch eingestellt, sobald
die Wetterstation das DCF-Funksignal empfängt. Stellen Sie die Uhrzeit und
das Datum manuell ein, wenn Sie kein DCF-Funksignal empfangen.
Tipp: Halten Sie die + oder – -Taste gedrückt. So erreichen Sie ein beschleunig-
tes Einstellen der Werte. Diese Schnelleinstellung können Sie auch für folgende
Einstellvorgänge nutzen. Wenn Sie innerhalb von 20 Sekunden keine Taste
drücken, kehrt das LC-Display automatisch zur Standardanzeige zurück.
6. Bestätigen Sie Ihre Eingabe durch Drücken der MODE-Taste. Die Minutenanzeige
der Zeitanzeige blinkt. Drücken Sie die + oder – -Taste, um den gewünschten
Wert einzustellen.
7. Bestätigen Sie Ihre Eingabe durch Drücken der MODE-Taste. Die Jahresanzeige
der Zeitanzeige blinkt. Drücken Sie die + oder – -Taste, um den gewünschten
Wert einzustellen.
8. Bestätigen Sie Ihre Eingabe durch Drücken der MODE-Taste. Die Monats-An-
zeige der Datums-Anzeige 1 blinkt. Drücken Sie die + oder – -Taste, um den
gewünschten Wert einzustellen.
9. Bestätigen Sie Ihre Eingabe durch Drücken der MODE-Taste. Die Tagesanzeige
der Datums-Anzeige blinkt. Drücken Sie die + oder – -Taste, um den gewünsch-
ten Wert einzustellen.
10. Bestätigen Sie Ihre Eingabe durch Drücken der MODE-Taste. Anstelle der
Wochentagsanzeige 9 blinkt die Sprachenanzeige des Displays. Drücken Sie

die + oder – -Taste, um die gewünschte Sprache zu wählen.
Hinweis: Sie haben die Wahl zwischen Deutsch (GE), Englisch (EN), Italie-

Weckzeit einstellen

Auf dem LC-Display erscheint die aktuell eingestellte Weckzeit.
2. Drücken und halten Sie die MODE-Taste für ca. 2 Sekunden gedrückt. Die
Stundenanzeige blinkt.
3. Drücken Sie die + oder – -Taste 35, 36, um den gewünschten Wert einzustellen.
4. Bestätigen Sie Ihre Eingabe durch Drücken der MODE-Taste. Die Minutenanzeige
blinkt. Wiederholen Sie Schritt 3, um den Wert für die Minuten einzustellen.
5. Bestätigen Sie Ihre Eingabe durch Drücken der MODE-Taste.
Tipp: Halten Sie die + oder – -Taste gedrückt. So erreichen Sie ein beschleunig-
tes Einstellen der Werte. Diese Schnelleinstellung können Sie auch für folgende
Einstellvorgänge nutzen. Wenn Sie innerhalb von 20 Sekunden keine Taste
drücken, kehrt das LC-Display automatisch zur Standardanzeige zurück.
Hinweis: Sie haben die Möglichkeit, zwei verschiedene Alarme einzustellen.
6. Drücken Sie zweimal kurz die MODE-Taste, wenn sich die Wetterstation in der
Zeitanzeige 7 befindet. Drücken Sie einmal kurz die MODE-Taste, wenn sich die

Wetterstation im Modus ALARM 1 befindet. Sie gelangen nun in den Modus
ALARM 2.
7. Wiederholen Sie Schritt 2–5, um den Wert für ALARM 2 einzustellen.
Weckfunktion aktivieren / deaktivieren
1. Drücken Sie kurz einmal oder zweimal die MODE-Taste 34, um in den Modus
von ALARM 1 oder ALARM 2 zu gelangen.
2. Drücken Sie die + -Taste 35. Das Alarm-1-Symbol 3 oder das Alarm-2-Sym-
bol 8 erscheint auf dem LC-Display. Der Alarm ist aktiviert.
3. Drücken Sie die + -Taste erneut. Das Alarm-1-Symbol oder das Alarm-2-Symbol
auf dem LC-Display erlischt. Der Alarm ist deaktiviert.
Alarmsignal ausschalten
Drücken Sie mit Ausnahme der SNOOZE- / LIGHT-Taste 33 eine beliebige Taste,
um das Alarmsignal zu stoppen. Sie müssen den Alarm nicht wieder aktivieren.
Er schaltet sich in der bereits eingestellten Alarmzeit automatisch ein.
Hinweis: Das Alarmsignal ertönt für ca. 2 Minuten.

SNOOZE-Funktion
Drücken Sie die SNOOZE- / LIGHT-Taste 33, um in den SNOOZE-Modus
zu gelangen, während das Alarmsignal ertönt. Das Alarmsignal ertönt nach

Hinweis: Bitte achten Sie zusätzlich auf die Wettervorhersage Ihres lokalen
Wetterdienstes. Sollte es zu Diskrepanzen zwischen dem Produkt und Ihres lokalen
Wetterdienstes kommen, richten Sie sich bitte nach Ihrem lokalen Wetterdienst.
Die Wettervorhersage wird durch die Auswertung der Luftdruckschwankungen
berechnet und kann vom tatsächlichen Wetter abweichen.

Einstellung der Luftdruckanzeige
Die Wettervorhersage dieser Wetterstation beruht auf einer Auswertung der
Veränderung des Luftdrucks.
Die Luftdruckanzeige 30 ist werksseitig auf den absoluten Luftdruck eingestellt. Da
der Luftdruck generell mit der Höhe über dem Meeresspiegel absinkt, wird vom
öffentlichen Wetterdienst in der Regel der so genannte relative Luftdruck angegeben.
Dieser relative Luftdruck wird der Topografie des Geländes angepasst, um ver-
gleichbare Werte zu erhalten.
Sie können die Anzeige des relativen Luftdrucks Ihrer Wetterstation an die Verhältnisse
Ihres Betriebsorts anpassen. Hierzu müssen Sie Ihrer Wetterstation einmalig den
aktuellen relativen Luftdruck mitteilen. Diesen können Sie bei Ihrem lokalen Wetter-
dienst oder auch im Internet erfahren.
Gehen Sie zur Einstellung vor wie folgt:
Drücken und halten Sie die HISTORY ABS/REL-Taste 38 für ca. 3 Sekunden
gedrückt. Drücken Sie anschließend die + oder – -Taste 35, 36, um zwischen
der absoluten/relativen Luftdruckanzeige zu wechseln.
Wählen Sie „Rel“ und drücken Sie zur Bestätigung die HISTORY ABS / REL-Taste.
Die Luftdruckanzeige blinkt. Nun können Sie mit der + oder – -Taste den
gewünschten Wert einstellen.
Bestätigen Sie Ihre Eingabe durch Drücken der HISTORY ABS / REL-Taste. Ihre
Wetterstation zeigt nun den relativen Luftdruck an.

Wenn Sie möchten, dass die Wetterstation den absoluten Luftdruck anzeigt,
gehen Sie vor wie folgt:
Drücken und halten Sie die HISTORY ABS/REL-Taste für ca. 3 Sekunden gedrückt.
Drücken Sie anschließend die + oder – -Taste, um zur absoluten Luftdruckanzeige
zu wechseln. Bestätigen Sie durch Drücken der HISTORY ABS / REL-Taste.
Kanal einstellen
Die Wetterstation empfängt das Signal des Außenfühlers automatisch, nachdem Sie
alle Einstellungen vorgenommen haben.
Hinweis: Bei Störungen durch in der Nähe befindliche Geräte, die Funksignale
übertragen, blinken währenddessen die Zeichen der Luftfeuchtigkeit (Außen) 22
und Außentemperatur 25. Wählen Sie einen anderen Kanal für den Außensensor
durch Drücken der CH-Taste 37 an der Wetterstation oder des Kanal-Wahlschal-
ters 44 am Außenfühler. Die betreffenden Daten werden im LC-Display angezeigt.

Temperatur und Temperatur-Trend anzeigen
Die aktuelle Innentemperatur 19 und der Temperatur-Trend (Innen) 15 werden im
LC-Display angzeigt.
Nach erfolgreicher Verbindung mit dem Außenfühler wird die Außentemperatur 25
und der Temperatur-Trend (Außen) 24 angezeigt. Folgende Anzeigen sind möglich:
Die Temperatur steigt.
Die Temperatur bleibt konstant.
Die Temperatur sinkt.
Luftfeuchtigkeit und Luftfeuchtigkeit-Trend anzeigen
Der aktuelle Luftfeuchtigkeit-Trend (Innen) 16 sowie die aktuelle Luftfeuchtigkeit
(Innen) 17 werden im LC-Display angezeigt. Durch den Komfort-Indikator 18 wird
die Luftfeuchtigkeit in drei Kategorien eingeteilt.
Folgende Kategorien stehen zur Verfügung:
DRY = Luftfeuchtigkeit < 40 %
COMFORT = Luftfeuchtigkeit 40–70 %, Innentemperatur 20 °C–28 °C
WET = Luftfeuchtigkeit > 70 %

Nach erfolgreicher Verbindung mit dem Außensensor zeigt die Wetterstation den
Luftfeuchtigkeit-Trend (Außen) 21 sowie die Luftfeuchtigkeit (Außen) 22 im LC-Dis-
play an.
Maximale / minimale Temperatur /
Luftfeuchtigkeit anzeigen
Die minimale / maximale Temperatur / Luftfeuchtigkeit wird nach dem Einlegen der
Batterien erstmals gemessen und in der Wetterstation gespeichert.
Die maximalen und minimalen Werte für Temperatur, Hygrometer und Luftdruck
werden automatisch gespeichert.
Befindet sich die Wetterstation in der Zeitanzeige 7, drücken Sie die +Taste 35,
um die maximalen Werte anzuzeigen.
Drücken Sie zweimal die +-Taste, um die minimalen Werte anzuzeigen.
Halten Sie die +-Taste für ca. 3 Sekunden gedrückt, um die gespeicherten
minimalen und maximalen Werte zu löschen.

Temperatur- und Frostalarm
Der Temperaturalarm ist ein kurzer Signalton, der ertönt, sobald die Außentemperatur
den vorgegebenen Temperaturbereich über- oder unterschreitet. Gehen Sie zur Ein-
stellung des gewünschten Temperaturbereichs wie folgt vor:
Drücken Sie die – -Taste 36, um in den Modus des Temperaturalarms zu
gelangen.
Halten Sie die – -Taste für 3 Sekunden gedrückt. Die maximale Temperatur-
anzeige blinkt. Drücken Sie die + oder – -Taste, um die Werte einzustellen.
Drücken Sie die MODE-Taste 34, um Ihre Eingabe zu bestätigen. Die minimale
Temperaturanzeige blinkt. Drücken Sie die + oder – -Taste, um die Werte
einzustellen.
Drücken Sie die MODE-Taste, um Ihre Eingabe zu bestätigen.
Temperatur- und Frostalarm aktivieren / deaktivieren
Ist mehr als ein Außenfühler aktiviert, drücken Sie die Kanal-Taste 37, um einen
zu wählen.
Drücken Sie wiederholt die – -Taste 36, um den Temperatur- und Frostalarm zu
aktivieren.

Hintergrundbeleuchtung
Drücken Sie die SNOOZE / LIGHT-Taste 33. Die Hintergrundbeleuchtung
leuchtet für 5 Sekunden.
Batterieanzeige
Die Batterie-Anzeige 20, 26 erscheint im LC-Display der Wetterstation, wenn die
Batterien schwach sind. Achten Sie darauf, die Batterien frühzeitig zu wechseln
(siehe „Batterien wechseln“).

Batterien wechseln
Wetterstation:
Wechseln Sie die Batterien, wenn das LC-Display unleserlich oder die Batteriean-
zeige 20 angezeigt wird.
Entfernen Sie die Batteriefachabdeckung auf der Rückseite der Wetterstation.
Entnehmen Sie die verbrauchten Batterien.
Legen Sie 3 neue Batterien vom Typ AA, 1,5 V ein.
Hinweis: Achten Sie dabei auf die richtige Polarität. Diese wird im Batterie-
fach 40 angezeigt.
Schließen Sie das Batteriefach.
Außenfühler:
Wechseln Sie die Batterien, wenn die Batterieanzeige 26 angezeigt wird.
Entfernen Sie die Batteriefachabdeckung auf der Rückseite des Außenfühlers.
Entnehmen Sie die verbrauchten Batterien.
Legen Sie 2 neue Batterien vom Typ AA, 1,5 V ein.
Hinweis: Achten Sie dabei auf die richtige Polarität. Diese wird im Batterie-
fach 45 angezeigt.
Schließen Sie das Batteriefach.

Fehler beheben
Hinweis: Das Produkt enthält elektronische Bauteile. Daher ist es möglich, dass
es durch Funkübertragungsgeräte in unmittelbarer Nähe gestört wird.
Entfernen Sie solche Geräte aus der Reichweite der Wetterstation / des Außen-
fühlers oder entnehmen Sie kurzzeitig die Batterien aus der Wetterstation /
dem Außenfühler, wenn das Display Störungen anzeigt.
Hindernisse wie z. B. Betonwände können auch dazu führen, dass der Empfang
empfindlich gestört wird. Verändern Sie in diesem Fall den Standort (z. B. in die
Nähe eines Fensters). Beachten Sie unbedingt, dass der Außensensor immer im
Umkreis von max. 30 Meter (Freifeld) von der Basisstation aufgestellt werden
sollte. Die angegebene Reichweite ist die Freifeldreichweite und bedeutet, dass
kein Hinderniss zwischen dem Außensensor und der Basisstation stehen sollte.
Ein „Sichtkontakt“ zwischen Außensensor und Basisstation verbessert oftmals die
Übertragung.
Kälte (Außentemperaturen unter 0°C) kann die Batterieleistung des Außensensors
und dadurch die Funkübertragung ebenfalls negativ beinträchtigen.
Ein weiterer Faktor, der zu Empfangsstörungen führen kann, sind leere oder zu
schwache Batterien des Außensensors. Tauschen Sie diese gegen neue aus.

Reinigung und Pflege
Verwenden Sie in keinem Fall Flüssigkeiten und keine Reinigungsmittel, da
diese das Produkt beschädigen.
Reinigen Sie das Produkt nur äußerlich mit einem weichen trockenen Tuch.
Spritzen Sie den Außensensor in keinem Fall, z. B. mit einem Gartenschlauch,
ab. Der Außensensor ist nur gegen Regen von oben geschützt.
Entsorgung
Die Verpackung besteht aus umweltfreundlichen Materialien, die Sie über die
örtlichen Recyclingstellen entsorgen können.

giftige Schwermetalle enthalten und unterliegen der Sondermüllbehandlung.
Die chemischen Symbole der Schwermetalle sind wie folgt: Cd = Cadmium,
Hg = Quecksilber, Pb = Blei. Geben Sie deshalb verbrauchte Batterien / Akkus bei
einer kommunalen Sammelstelle ab.

Radio-controlled weather station
Introduction
We congratulate you on the purchase of your new product. You have chosen a
high quality product. The instructions for use are part of the product. They contain
important information concerning safety, use and disposal. Before using the prod-
uct, please familiarise yourself with all of the safety information and instructions for
use. Only use the product as described and for the specified applications. If you
pass the product on to anyone else, please ensure that you also pass on all the
documentation with it.
Intended use
The weather station displays the indoor and outdoor temperatures in Celsius (°C) or
Fahrenheit (°F) and their maximum and minimum values. It also displays the indoor and
outdoor humidity (%RH) as well as their maximum and minimum values. Additional
display values of weather station include the weather forecast, the time in 12 / 24-hour
clock modes and the date. The weather station displays the sunrise and sunset times
for that day and the lunar phase as well. In addition, the weather station has two
different alarm functions. The product is only suitable for use in private households
and is not intended for commercial use.

General safety information
Children frequently underestimate the dangers.
Children should be kept away from the product at all times.
This product can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and
persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experi-
ence and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction con-
cerning use of the product in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
Children shall not play with the product. Cleaning and user maintenance shall
not be made by children without supervision.
Do not use the product if it is damaged.

Safety instructions for batteries /

DANGER TO LIFE! Keep batteries / rechargeable batteries out of reach of
children. If accidentally swallowed seek immediate medical attention.
DANGER OF EXPLOSION! Never recharge non-rechargeable
batteries. Do not short-circuit batteries / rechargeable batteries
and / or open them. Overheating, fire or bursting can be the result.
Never throw batteries / rechargeable batteries into fire or water.
Do not exert mechanical loads to batteries / rechargeable batteries.
Risk of leakage of batteries / rechargeable batteries
Avoid extreme environmental conditions and temperatures, which could affect
batteries / rechargeable batteries, e.g. radiators / direct sunlight.
If batteries / rechargeable batteries have leaked, avoid contact with skin, eyes
and mucous membranes with the chemicals! Flush immediately the affected
areas with fresh water and seek medical attention!
WEAR PROTECTIVE GLOVES! Leaked or damaged batteries /
rechargeable batteries can cause burns on contact with the skin.
Wear suitable protective gloves at all times if such an event occurs.
In the event of a leakage of batteries / rechargeable batteries, immediately
remove them from the product to prevent damage.
Only use the same type of batteries / rechargeable batteries. Do not mix used
and new batteries / rechargeable batteries.

Remove batteries / rechargeable batteries if the product will not be used for a
longer period.
Risk of damage of the product
Only use the specified type of battery / rechargeable battery!
Insert batteries / rechargeable batteries according to polarity marks (+) and (-)
on the battery / rechargeable battery and the product.
Clean the contacts on the battery / rechargeable battery and in the battery
compartment before inserting!
Remove exhausted batteries / rechargeable batteries from the
product immediately.
Before use
Setting up the devices
Put the batteries first into the outdoor sensor.
CAUTION! When choosing where to position the weather station, make sure
that it is not exposed to direct sunlight, vibrations, dust, heat, cold or moisture. Do
not place the devices close to sources of heat, e.g. radiators. Otherwise they may
be damaged.

Do not place the devices on valuable or sensitive surfaces unless these are
appropriately protected. Otherwise they may be damaged.
Please ensure that neighbouring devices are not operated at the same frequency
of 433 MHz. Such devices may cause interference to the radio connection.
Do not place the devices next to or on metal plates. Otherwise the quality of
radio wave transmission may be reduced.
Do not install the devices in buildings made of reinforced concrete, e.g. airports,
high-rise buildings, factories or cellars. Otherwise the transmission of the radio
waves between the devices may be severely impaired.
Preparing to use the outdoor sensor
Remove the battery compartment cover from the back of the outdoor sensor.
Remove the battery safety strip. The outdoor sensor is now ready for operation
and the control LED 41 lights up briefly.
Close the battery compartment cover.
Installing the Outdoor Sensor:
Note: You will need an electric drill for this step.
Find an appropriate place for the outdoor sensor.
Note: Please ensure that you install the outdoor sensor within a radius of 30 m
from the weather station. Check that there are no obstacles between the outdoor

sensor and the weather station. Otherwise there may be interference of the
transmission of data.
For wall mounting:
Hang the outdoor sensor with the mount 42 on one screw.
Preparing the weather station for use
Removing the battery safety strip:
Open the battery compartment 40 on the back of the weather station.
Pull out the battery safety strip.
Then close the battery compartment.
As soon as the battery safety strip has been removed, the weather station starts to
receive the radio signal.
Note: Do not move the weather station while it is receiving the signal. This may
disrupt reception.

Connecting the weather station with the outdoor sensor and the
DCF radio signal:
After removal of the battery safety strip the weather station attempts to establish a
connection with the outdoor sensor. This process can take a few minutes. The symbol
will keep flashing for few minutes. On successful connection with the outdoor sensor,
the selected channel symbol 27 appears in the LC display with the channel of the
outdoor sensor (if necessary you can change the channel of the outdoor sensor as
shown in the section “Setting the channel”). If the connection with the outdoor sen-
sor is not established automatically, this can be done manually as follows:
1. Press the channel button (CH) 37. The icon of the selected channel 27 will
flash in the LC-display. Outdoor temperature 25 and Humility(Outdoor) 22 will
display “--._”, weather station will start receive the outdoor sensor signal process.
2. Then press the RESET button 43 of the sensor. Weather station outdoor
temperature 25 and Humility(Outdoor) 22 will display exiting value.
As soon as the weather station has established a connection with the outdoor sensor
it automatically begins to receive the DCF radio signal. This process takes several
minutes and is indicated in the LC display by a flashing radio tower symbol 5.
When the DCF radio signal is being successfully received, the radio tower symbol
is shown permanently in the display. If at the time of putting the device into opera-
tion it is not possible to synchronise with the atomic clock, you can also carry out

the clock adjustments manually (“Setting the 12 / 24 hour mode / °C / °F / hPa /
inHg / time zone / time / date / language manually”).
Radio signal (DCF):
The DCF signal (time signal transmitter) consists of time pulses emitted by one of
the most accurate clocks in the world close to Frankfurt / Main, Germany.
In ideal conditions, your weather station can pick up this signal over a distance of
up to approx. 2000 km around Frankfurt / Main. Reception of the radio signal
generally takes approx. 3–10 minutes.
Reception can be considerably impaired by obstacles (e.g. concrete walls) or sources
of interference (e.g. other electrical devices). In the event of reception problems,
change the position of the weather station (e.g. to somewhere near a window).
Operation
Receiving the DCF radio time signal
After a connection with the outdoor sensor is established or 3 minutes after the battery
safety strip is removed, the weather station automatically begins to search for the
DCF radio signal. The search is shown in the LC display by the radio tower symbol 5
flashing.

Note: In buildings made of reinforced concrete the reception of the radio signal
may be severely impaired (see “Setting up the devices”).
In order to correct any deviations from the exact time, the clock is automatically
synchronised with the DCF radio signal every day at 1:00, 2:00 and 3:00.
Reception of the DCF radio signal can also be started manually on the weather station.
Press the + and – button 35, 36 at the same time. The weather station attempts
to receive the DCF radio signal. This process takes several minutes and is indi-
cated in the LC display by a flashing radio tower symbol.
If the connection with the DCF radio signal cannot be established, the search is stopped.
Note: If the clock of the weather station cannot receive the DCF radio signal due
to errors, too great a distance from the transmitter or similar reasons, it is possible
to set the time manually. If reception of the DCF signal is successful, the manual
settings are overwritten.

The reception of DCF radio signal where the weather station has been positioned may
become degraded or interrupted. If this happens you can set the device manually.

Follow these steps:

Note: The AM symbol in the time display 7 stands for before noon in the
12 hour mode. The PM symbol in the time display stands for after noon in
12 hour mode.
2. Confirm your setting by pressing the MODE button. The temperature unit “°C “
or “°F” flashes in the display. Press the + or – button to choose the desired
temperature unit.
3. Confirm your setting by pressing the MODE button. The barometric pressure’s
unit flashes in the display. Press the + or – button to set the desired unit (hPa /
inHg).
4. Confirm your setting by pressing the MODE button. The time zone indicator
flashes in the display. Press the + or – button to set the desired value (-2 to +2).
Note: Should you be in a country in which the DCF signal can be received but
the time is different to your current local time, you can use the time zone setting
to have the product display your current local time. If you find yourself in a coun-
try in which, for example, the local time is an hour ahead of Central European
Time (CET), you set the time zone to +01. The product is now still controlled by
DCF but shows the time as one hour ahead of CET.
5. Confirm your setting by pressing the MODE button. The hour value of the time
display flashes. Press the + or – button to set the desired value.
Note: The time and date settings will be done automatically if the weather
station receives the DCF signal. You should manually adjust the time and date
if you have no reception of DCF.

Tip: Hold the + or – button pressed down. This will speed up the process of
setting the values. You can also use this fast setting option for subsequent settings.
If you do not press any button for 20 seconds, the LCD automatically reverts to
the standard display.
6. Confirm your setting by pressing the MODE button. The minute indicator of the
time display blinks. Press the + or – button to set the desired value.
7. Confirm your setting by pressing the MODE button. The year indicator flashes
in the time display. Press the + or – button to set the desired value.
8. Confirm your setting by pressing the MODE button. The month indicator flashes
in the date display 1. Press the + or – button to set the desired value.
9. Confirm your setting by pressing the MODE button. The day indicator flashes
in the date display. Press the + or – button to set the desired value.
10. Confirm your setting by pressing the MODE button. At the place of the day of
the week display 9, the language indicator of this display flashes. Press the +
or – button to choose the desired language.
Note: You have the choice of German (GE), English (EN), Italian (IT), French
(FR) and Spanish (SP) (German is set as the standard language).
11. Confirm your setting by pressing the MODE button.

Setting the alarm time
1. Press the MODE button 34 briefly in order to get to alarm mode. The currently
set waking time appears in the LC display.
2. Press and hold down the MODE button for about 2 seconds. The hours display
flashes.
3. Press the + or – button 35, 36 to set the desired value.
4. Confirm your setting by pressing the MODE button. The minutes display flashes.
Repeat step 3 to set the minutes.
5. Confirm your setting by pressing the MODE button.
Tip: Hold the + or – button pressed down. This will speed up the process of
setting the values. You can also use this fast setting option for subsequent settings.
If you do not press any button for 20 seconds, the LCD automatically reverts to
the standard display.
Note: You can set two different alarms separately.
6. Press the MODE button twice briefly if the weather station is in time display 7
mode. Press the MODE button once briefly if the weather station is in ALARM 1
mode. This brings you now to ALARM 2 mode.
7. Repeat steps 2–5 to set the value for ALARM 2.

Activating / deactivating the alarm function
1. Briefly press the MODE button 34 briefly once or twice to reach ALARM 1 or
ALARM 2 mode.
2. Press the + button 35. The ALARM 1 symbol 3 or ALARM 2 symbol 8 appears
in the LC display. The alarm has been activated.
3. Press the button + again. The ALARM 1 or ALARM 2 symbol in the LC display
goes out. The alarm has been deactivated.
Switching off the alarm signal
Press any button except the SNOOZE- / LIGHT button 33 to stop the alarm
signal. It is not necessary to reactivate the alarm. It switches itself automatically
to the alarm time which has already been set.
Note: The alarm signal sounds for approx. 2 minutes.
SNOOZE function
Press the SNOOZE- / LIGHT button 33 as the alarm signal sounds to get to
SNOOZE mode. The alarm signal sounds again after approx. 5 minutes.

Preparing to use the weather forecasting function
Note: Please take the weather forecast from your local weather forecasting service
into account as well as the forecast from your weather station. If there are discrepancies
between the information from your product and from the local weather forecasting
service, please take the advice of the latter as authoritative.
The weather forecast is calculated from evaluation of fluctuations in the barometric
pressure and may deviate from the actual weather conditions.
The weather station displays the following weather symbols:

The weather symbols indicate the weather fluctuation over the next eight hours and
not the current weather.
The weather station can display the barometric pressure trend 31.
You may see the following displays:

Selecting the location
Press the CITY button 39. The location display 12 blinks and the longitude
and latitude are displayed.
Press the + or – button 35, 36 to select your location.
Press the CITY button to confirm your entry. If the abbreviation for your location
does not appear in the display, you may enter a user-defined location (see
“Selecting the location manually”).
After a brief moment, the weather station displays the times for sunrise and sun-
down, the lunar phases as well as the tidal range - low (TIDE LO), medium (TIDE
MID) and high (TIDE TH).
Selecting the location manually
Press the CITY button 39 down for approx. 2 seconds and keep it pressed.
Press the + or – button 35, 36 to select the beginning letters of your location.
Press the CITY button to confirm your entry. Enter the 2nd and 3rd letters in the
same fashion.
GMT appears in the LC display and the time zone indicator blinks.
Press the + or – button to set the difference from your time zone to GMT.
Press the CITY button to confirm your entry. Set the longitude and latitude of
your location in the same fashion.

–2HR = barometric pressure two hours earlier, etc.

Adjusting the air pressure indication
The forecast of this weather station is basing on an analysis of the change of the
air pressure.
The barometric pressure 30 is factory provided adjusted to the absolute air pressure.
As the air pressure generally decreases with the height beyond sea level, the public
weather service always announces the so-called relative air pressure. This relative
air pressure is adjusted to the topography of the country in order to get comparable
values.
You can adjust the air-pressure of your weather station to the proportion of its place.
For that you have to adjust your weather station uniquely the current air pressure.
Ask your local weather forecast service for the barometric pressure at sea level or
get the current value from the Internet.
You can adjust the weather station like this:
Press and hold the HISTORY ABS / REL button 38 for approx. 3 seconds. After
that press the + or – button 35, 36, to interchange between the absolute or
relative air pressure.
Chose „Rel“ and press the HISTORY ABS/REL button for confirmation. The air
pressure indication blinks. Now you can chose the correct value by pressing
the + or – button.
Confirm your choice by pressing the HISTORY ABS / REL button. Your weather
station now shows the relative air pressure.

If you want your weather station to announce the absolute air pressure, proceed
like this:
Press and hold the HISTORY ABS / REL button for approx. 3 seconds. After-
wards press the + or – button, to change to the absolute air pressure. Confirm
by pressing the HISTORY ABS / REL button.
Setting the channel
The weather station receives the outdoor sensor signal automatically after you have
made all the settings.
Note: In the event of interference from nearby equipment transmitting radio
signals, the symbol for humidity (outdoor) 22 and outdoor temperature 25 flashes
during this time. Please select a different channel for the outdoor sensor by pressing
the CH button 37 on the weather station or the channel selector switch 44 on the
outdoor sensor. The relevant data is shown in the LC display.

Displaying temperature and temperature trend
The current indoor temperature 19 and the temperature trend (indoors) 15 are
shown in the LC display.
After successfully connecting with the outdoor sensor, the weather station can display
the outdoor temperature 25 and the temperature trend (outdoor) 24. You may see
the following displays:
The temperature is rising.
The temperature is remaining constant.
The temperature is falling.
Displaying the humidity and humidity trend
The current humidity trend (indoors) 16 and the current humidity (indoors) 17 are
shown in the LC display.
The COMFORT indicator 18 displays the humidity in three categories.
The following categories are available:

DRY = Humidity < 40 %
COMFORT = Humidity 40–70 %, indoor temperature 20 °C–28 °C
WET = Humidity > 70 %
After a successful connection has been made with the outdoor sensor, the weather
station shows the humidity trend (outdoors) 21 and the humidity (outdoors) 22 in
the LC display.
Displaying the maximum / minimum
temperature / humidity
The minimum / maximum temperature / humidity is measured for the first time after
the batteries have been inserted and stored in the weather station.
The maximum and minimum values for temperature, hygrometer and barometric
pressure are automatically saved.
If the weather station is in time display 7, press the + button 35 to display the
maximum values.
Press the + button twice to display the minimum values.
Hold the + button down for approx. 3 seconds to erase the stored maximum
and minimum values.

Temperature and frost alarm
The temperature alarm is a short beep, which sounds as soon as the outdoor
temperature exceeds or falls below the preset temperature range. Follow the below
procedures to set the desired temperature range.
Press the – button 36 to get top the temperature alarm mode.
Hold the – button down for 3 seconds. The maximum temperature display
blinks. Press the + or – button to set the values.
Press the MODE button 34 to confirm your setting. The minimum temperature
display blinks. Press the + or – button to set the values.
Press the MODE button to confirm your setting.
Activating / deactivating the the temperature
and frost alarm
If more than one outdoor sensor is activated, press the channel button 37 to
select one.
Press the – button 36 repeatedly to activate the temperature and frost alarms.
If the frost alarm alarm is activated, the corresponding symbol 23 appears next to
the outdoor temperature. The alarm signal sounds at –1 °C to + 3 °C.

If the temperature alarm is activated, the corresponding symbol appears next to the
outdoor temperature. The alarm signal sounds at the set values.
If the temperature and frost alarm are activated, both symbols appear in the display.
Background lighting
Press the SNOOZE / LIGHT button 33. The backlight illuminates for 5 seconds.
Battery state display
The battery state display 20, 26 appears in the weather station’s LC display if the
batteries are weak. Make sure you replace the batteries at the earliest opportunity
(see “Changing the batteries”).

Replace the batteries if the LC display becomes illegible or if the battery display 20
is shown.

Disposal
The packaging is made entirely of recyclable materials, which you may dispose of
at local recycling facilities.

which are marked with abbreviations (a) and numbers (b) with following
meaning: 1–7: plastics / 20–22: paper and fibreboard / 80–98: com-
posite materials.
The product and packaging materials are recyclable, dispose of it sepa-

disposal of the batteries / rechargeable batteries!
Batteries / rechargeable batteries may not be disposed of with the usual domestic
waste. They may contain toxic heavy metals and are subject to hazardous waste
treatment rules and regulations. The chemical symbols for heavy metals are as
follows: Cd = cadmium, Hg = mercury, Pb = lead. That is why you should dispose
of used batteries / rechargeable batteries at a local collection point.

Introduction
Nous vous félicitons pour l‘achat de votre nouveau produit. Vous avez opté pour
un produit de grande qualité. Le mode d‘emploi fait partie intégrante de ce pro-
duit. Il contient des indications importantes pour la sécurité, l’utilisation et la mise
au rebut. Veuillez lire consciencieusement toutes les indications d‘utilisation et de
sécurité du produit. Ce produit doit uniquement être utilisé conformément aux ins-
tructions et dans les domaines d‘application spécifiés. Lors d‘une cession à tiers,
veuillez également remettre tous les documents.
Utilisation conforme à l’usage prévu
La station météo affiche la température ambiante et la température extérieure en
degrés Celsius (°C) ou Fahrenheit (°F), ainsi que les valeurs maximales et mini-
males. Elle affiche également l’humidité de l’air intérieur et extérieur (% RH) ainsi
que leurs valeurs minimale et maximale. Les autres valeurs affichées par la station
météo sont les prévisions météorologiques, l’heure en mode 12 / 24heures ainsi
que la date. La station météo indique également l’heure du lever et du coucher du
soleil et les phases lunaires. Ce produit est exclusivement destiné à un usage privé
et non commercial.

rechargeables. Ne court-circuitez pas les piles / piles rechargeables
et / ou ne les ouvrez pas ! Autrement, vous risquez de provoquer
une surchauffe, un incendie ou une explosion.
Ne jetez jamais des piles / piles rechargeables au feu ou dans l’eau.
Ne pas soumettre les piles / piles rechargeables à une charge mécanique.
Risque de fuite des piles / piles rechargeables
Évitez d’exposer les piles / piles rechargeables à des conditions et températures
extrêmes susceptibles de les endommager, par ex. sur des radiateurs / exposition
directe aux rayons du soleil.

Avant la mise en service
Installation des appareils
Insérez les piles pour commencer dans le capteur extérieur, ensuite
dans la station météo.

PRUDENCE! Lors du choix du lieu d’installation de l’appareil, assurez-vous
que les appareils ne sont pas exposés aux rayons directs du soleil, à des vibrations,
à la poussière, à la chaleur, au froid et à l’humidité. N’installez pas les appareils à
proximité de sources de chaleur, par ex. de radiateurs. Risque d’endommagement
des appareils dans le cas contraire.
Ne posez pas les appareils sur des surfaces de valeur ou fragiles sans une
protection appropriée. Ces surfaces pourraient être endommagées.
Assurez-vous que des appareils proches ne fonctionnent pas sur la même fré-
quence de 433MHz. Ces appareils pourraient causer un dysfonctionnement
de la transmission radio.
N’installez pas les appareils à côté de plaques métalliques ou sur des plaques
métalliques. Ceci pourrait réduire la transmission radio entre les appareils.
N’installez pas les appareils dans des bâtiments en béton armé, par ex. aéro-
ports, grands bâtiments, usines ou caves. La transmission radio entre les appareils
peut être fortement remise en cause.
Mise en service du capteur extérieur
Retirez le couvercle du boîtier à piles sur la face arrière de la sonde extérieure.
Retirez la bande de sécurité des piles. Le capteur extérieur est alors prêt à
l’emploi et le voyant à LED 41 s’allume brièvement.
Refermez le boîtier à piles.

Lorsque le signal radio DCF est capté, le symbole de tour hertzienne radio est affiché
en permanence sur l’écran à cristaux liquides. Si, au moment de la mise en service,
une synchronisation avec l’horloge de référence atomique n’est pas possible, vous
pouvez également procéder manuellement au réglage de l’heure (voir «Réglage
manuel du mode 12 / 24h / °C / °F / hPa / inHg/ du fuseau horaire / de l’heure /
de la date / de la langue»).
Signal radio (DCF):
Le signal DCF (émetteur de signaux horaires) consiste en des impulsions d’horloge
émises par l’une des horloges les plus exactes du monde, située près de Francfort
s. / Main, en Allemagne.
Votre station météo reçoit ces signaux dans des conditions optimales jusqu’à une
distance d’environ 2000 km de Francfort s. / Main. La réception du signal radio
dure généralement env. 3–10 minutes.
La réception peut être considérablement limitée par des obstacles (par ex. des murs
en béton) ou des sources de parasites (par ex. d’autres appareils électriques). Au
besoin, changez le site de la station météo (par ex. près d’une fenêtre) en cas de
problèmes lors de la réception.

2. Confirmez les saisies par une pression sur la touche MODE. L‘unité de tempé-
rature „°C“ ou „°F“ clignote à l‘écran. Appuyez sur la touche + ou - pour
choisir l‘unité de température votre choix.
3. Confirmez les saisies par une pression sur la touche MODE. L‘unité de pression
atmosphérique clignote à l‘écran. Appuyez sur la touche + ou - afin de régler
l‘unité désirée (hPa / inHg).
4. Confirmez les saisies par une pression sur la touche MODE. L’affichage des
fuseaux horaires clignote à l’écran. Appuyez sur la touche + ou – pour régler
la valeur souhaitée (-2 à +2).
Remarque: si vous vous trouvez dans un pays dans lequel vous captez le
signal radio DCF, mais dans lequel l’heure actuelle est différente, vous pouvez
utiliser le réglage du fuseau horaire pour régler le produit sur la bonne heure.
Si vous vous trouvez par exemple dans un pays dans lequel l’heure locale est
en avance d’une heure sur l’heure de l’Europe centrale (HEC), mettez le fuseau
horaire sur + 01. Le produit est désormais encore contrôlé par le signal radio
DCF, mais l‘heure affichée est une heure en avance sur l‘horaire HEC.
5. Confirmez les saisies par une pression sur la touche MODE. L’affichage des
heures clignote. Appuyez sur la touche + ou – pour régler la valeur souhaitée.
Remarque : l‘heure et la date sont réglées automatiquement dès que la station
météo reçoit le signal DCF. Réglez l‘heure et la date manuellement si vous ne
recevez aucun signal DCF.
Conseil: maintenez la touche + ou – enfoncée. Ceci permet de régler les va-
leurs plus rapidement. Vous pouvez aussi utiliser ce réglage rapide pour les
