Attaching the additional cord guide

on the thread cutter located on the

head frame

›Attach the guide with the opening facing up on

the right side of the thread cutter.

›Click into place on the left side by pressing

upwards lightly (see picture).

Cord guide on the Head Frame

›Hook the supplementary cord guide into the rear

area of the head frame (1).

›Swing cord guide up (2).

›Use tailor’s chalk to trace the path on which the

cord will be sewn, if required.

›Pull the cord through the threader provided.

›Pull the threader with the cord through the

additional cord guide on the thread cutter and

then through the needle opening in the presser

foot (cords of 2 mm diameter may not be pulled

through the threader. In this case pull the cord

by hand through the cord guide and the needle

opening without the help of the threader).

›Couch the cord by guiding the fabric with

smooth, round movements and guiding the cord

loosely.

Note

Use this presser foot only with a needle size 80Nm.

Cords of 1/16” – 1/12” (1.5 – 2 mm) in diameter

which are not too stiff and have a smooth surface

structure are suitable for couching with this foot.

Unsuitable are loosely twisted or soft cords, as the

needle penetration in the thread is not always

guaranteed and the cord cannot be couched prop-

erly. Therefore it is recommended to sew a test first.

If monofilament thread is used, the stitches are

hardly visible.

Hinweis

Diesen Nähfuss nur zusammen mit einer Nähnadel

der Stärke 80Nm verwenden.

Zum Aufnähen eignen sich Kordeln mit einem Durch-

messer von 1.5 - 2 mm, die nicht allzu steif sind und

eine eher glatte Oberflächenstruktur haben. Lose

gezwirnte oder zu weiche Kordeln sind nicht geeig-

net, da diese von der Nadel nicht in jedem Fall genug

angestochen und aufgenäht werden können. Eine

Nähprobe wird dehalb immer empfohlen.

Wird Monofil-Faden verwendet, sind die Stiche kaum

sichtbar.

›Die zusätzliche Kordelführung mit der Öffnung

nach oben auf der rechten Seite des Faden-

schneiders einhängen.

›Danach mit leichtem Druck nach oben auf der

linken Seite einrasten (siehe Bild).

Kordelführung am Kopfdeckel

›Die zusätzliche Kordelführung im hinteren

Bereich des Kopfdeckels einhängen (1).

›Kordelführung nach oben schwenken (2).

›Eventuell mit Stoffkreide vorzeichnen, wie die

Kordel aufgenäht werden soll.

›Kordel durch die Einfädelhilfe ziehen.

›Einfädelhilfe mit der Kordel durch die zusätzliche

Kordelführung am Fadenschneider, dann durch

die Führung und das Stichloch im Nähfuss zie-

hen (Kordeln mit 2 mm Durchmesser können

eventuell nicht mit der Einfädelhilfe eingezogen

werden. In diesem Fall die Kordel von Hand

ohne Hilfe des Einfädlers durch die Kordelfüh-

rung und das Stichloch ziehen).

›Kordel aufnähen, den Stoff dabei in leichten,

runden Bewegungen führen. Die Kordel dabei

lose mitführen.

Coser con punto recto el cordoncillo haciendo

un efecto de redondo. Bajar el pie Atención:

na de coser.

Let op

Gebruik deze naaivoet alleen samen met een

naald met een dikte van 80Nm.

Geschikt zijn koorden met een diameter van 1,5

- 2 mm, die niet zo stijf zijn en een oppervlakte

met een vrij gladde structuur hebben. Los in

elkaar gedraaide of hele zachte koorden zijn niet

geschikt, omdat de naald niet altijd voldoende

in het koord steekt en het koord daarom niet

goed wordt vastgenaaid. Maak altijd een proef-

lapje. Bij het gebruik van monofilgaren zijn de

steken nauwelijks zichtbaar.

Remarque

N’utiliser ce pied qu’avec une aiguille 80Nm.

Choisir un cordon souple de 1.5 - 2 mm de

structure lisse. Les cordons trop mous ou trop

structurés ne conviennent pas, car l’aiguille ne

pourra pas piquer suffisamment dans le cordon.

Effectuez toujours une couture d’essai.

Les points seront invisibles avec un monofil.

Per applicazioni sono adatti cordoncini non

troppo rigidi, con la superficie piuttosto liscia ed

un diametro di 1,5 – 2 mm. Cordoncini poco

ritorti o troppo morbidi non sono adatti, perché

il punto potrebbe non resistere. Si consiglia di

fare sempre una prova di cucito.

Utilizzando del filo trasparente, i punti sono

quasi invisibili.

Indicación

Utilizar este pie prénsatelas únicamente junto

con una aguja del grosor 80Nm.

Los cordoncillos adecuados tienen un diámetro

de 1.5 - 2 mm, no son demasiado rígidos y dis-

ponen de una estructura de superficie más bien

lisa. Hilo retorcido suelto o cordoncillos dema-

siado suaves no son adecuados porque no en

todos los casos la aguja los puede pinchar y

coser lo suficiente con regularidad.

Por eso es recomendable hacer siempre una cos-

tura de prueba utilizando monofilo apenas se

ven los puntos.

›Suspendre le guide fil auxiliaire dans le secteur

arrière du bâti (1).

›Basculer le guide fil vers le haut (2).

›Agganciare la guida supplementare al lato

destro del tagliafilo - l’apertura deve essere

rivolta in alto.

›Esercitare una leggera pressione in alto e inca-

strare la guida a sinistra (vedi illustrazione).

›Agganciare la guida supplementare per i model-

li sul lato sinistro della macchina (1).

›Girare la guida filo verso l’alto (2).

hacia arriba en la parte derecha del corta-hilos.

›Después, con ligera presión hacia arriba, engan-

›Enganchar la guía-hilo adicional de la en la par-

te posterior de la tapa de la cabeza (1).

›Girar la guía-hilo hacia arriba (2).

›Geef eventueel met kleermakerskrijt aan, waar

het koord moet worden vastgenaaid.

›Rijg het koord door de inrijghulp.

›Trek de inrijghulp met het koord door de extra

draadgeleiding bij de draadafsnijder, daarna

door de geleiding en het steekgat van de naai-

voet (koorden met een diameter van 2 mm kun-

nen evt. niet met de inrijghulp worden ingere-

gen; in dit geval moet het koord met de hand

zonder inrijghulp door de draadgeleiding en het

steekgat worden getrokken).

› Naai het koord vast, beweeg de stof tegelij-

kertijd met lichte, ronde bewegingen. Laat het

koord losjes meelopen.

›Placer éventuellement des repères avec la craie

de couturière.

›Enfiler le cordon au travers de l’aide d’enfilage.

›Enfiler l’aide d’enfilage avec le cordon au tra-

vers du guide fil auxiliaire et ensuite au travers

du guide et du trou pour les points du pied

(les cordons de 2 mm de diamètre ne pourront

éventuellement pas être guidés avec l’aide d’en-

filage. Enfiler dans ce cas le cordon à la main au

travers du guide fil).

›Coudre le cordon et guider le tissu par des mou-

vements fluides circulaires en guidant légère-

ment le cordon.

›Eventualmente disegnare sulla stoffa (con un

gessetto) il motivo che il cordoncino dovrà for-

mare.

›Infilare il cordoncino nell’attrezzo infilatore.

›Passare l’infilatore con la corda attraverso la

guida supplementare sul tagliafilo, poi infilare la

guida ed infine l’apertura del piedino (l’infilatore

non funziona con cordoncini / diametro 2mm -

in tal caso passare il cordoncino manualmente

nella guida ed il piedino.

›Cucire il cordoncino e guidare la stoffa con

movimenti regolari.

›Si fuese necesario, marcar con yeso donde se

desea coser el cordoncillo.

›Pasar el cordoncillo por el enhebrador (ayuda

para enhebrar).

›Pasar el enhebrador con el cordoncillo por la

guía adicional en el corta-hilos, después por la

guía y el ojete del pie prénsatelas (Es posible

que los cordoncillos con un diámetro de 2 mm

no puedan pasarse por el enhebrador. En este

caso pasar el cordoncillo por la guía y el ojete a

mano, sin la ayuda del enhebrador).

›Coser el cordoncillo, al mismo tiempo guiar el

tejido con movimientos ligeros y redondeados.

Guiar el cordoncillo sin aguantarlo.
