Assembly instructions

1. Introduction

Congratulations!

With your purchase you have cho-

sen a high-quality product. Make

yourself familiar with the product be-

fore starting to use it. Carefully read

the following instruction manual.

Use the product only as described

and only for the speciﬁed areas of

application. They contain important

information for safety, use and dis-

posal. Familiarise yourself with all

of the operating and safety informa-

tion before using the product. Keep

this instruction manual for future ref-

erence. When transferring this prod-

uct to third parties, also include all

documents. Keep the instructions for

future reference.

2. Safety

Intended use

The product is exclusively intended

for attachment to the am handlebar

stem of bicycles.

The product is exclusively intended

for the attachment and use on appro-

priately suitable bicycles.

The product is not suitable to be worn

on the wrist.

The product is not intended for

commercial use. Diﬀerent use or a

modiﬁcation to the product are not

deemed as intended use and may

lead to risks, such as injuries and

damage. The distributor assumes no

liability for damage that results from

improper use.

- Bowden cables and brake lines

on the bicycle may not be bent or

pinched during assembly!

attached to the designated instal-

lation points according to these

instructions.

- The product must not cover up

any reﬂectors or lamps.

- Regularly check the tight ﬁt of all

mounting elements of the product.

! WARNING!

Risk of damage to prop-

erty!

- Not suitable for oﬀ-road use. The

smartphone could fall out of the

product and be damaged by vi-

olent shocks applied to the bike

from oﬀ-road riding.

NOTE!

- The distributor is not liable for any

damage to smartphones, navi-

gation devices or other devices

caused by the use of the product.

- In order to ensure protection

against moisture and dust, the Vel-

cro fastener 5b of the ﬂap must 5

always be completely closed.

- Protective covers or similar acces-

sories that cause the smartphone

to change size must be removed

before use.

- Smartphones with a thickness of

more than 8 mm and a size of

more than 8.0 x 16.0 cm may

have restrictions.

- Pay attention to the max. load ca-

pacity of 0.25 kg.

6. Assembly

1. Remove all packaging materials.

2. Check whether all parts are avail-

able and undamaged.

If this is not the case, notify the

speciﬁed service address.

Mounting the product onto

the handlebar stem

! CAUTION!

Depending on the type of bike, the

Bowden cables and brake lines must

be routed above or below the prod-

uct on the handlebar stem.

Make sure that the Bowden cables

and brake lines are not trapped or

kinked.

1. Open the safety catch 2 and pull

the fastening strap 3 out of the

eyelet 4, see .Fig. B

2. Fold the upper ﬂap 5 of the

product 1 upwards, see .Fig. C

3. Insert your smartphone 6 (not

included in the scope of supply)

into the product 1 with the back

side facing down, see .Fig. D

4. Fold the upper ﬂap 5 on the

product 1 down and press the

Velcro fastener 5b see .Fig. E

5. Hold the product 1 at the de-

sired position of the handlebar

stem 7, see .Fig. F

6. Place the fastening strap 3 under

the handlebar stem 7 and guide

it through the eyelet 4, see Fig.

7. Tighten the fastening strap 3 so

that the product sits ﬁrmly on the

handlebar stem 7. Close the Vel-

cro fastener of the fastening strap

8. Secure the fastening strap 3

against independent opening to

the bike mount with the safety

catch 2, see .Fig. H

NOTE!

Check the tight ﬁt of the product on

the handlebar stem. If the product is

not tight enough, open the fastening

strap again and pull it a little tighter.

Secure the fastening strap with the

safety Velcro fastener to prevent it

from opening by itself.

! WARNING!

Risk of injury!

- Check the tight ﬁt of the product

before each ride. This must not be

loose, as it can otherwise disrupt

the equilibrium while riding and

cause a fall.

- To ensure a secure ﬁt, we recom-

mend re-tightening the fastening

strap after approx. 10 minutes of

driving. If necessary, repeat the

procedure if you notice that the

seating of the bracket loosens

again.

7. Cleaning and care

9. Warranty

Warranty from MONZ Handels-

gesellschaft International mbH & Co.

Dear customer, the warranty on this

product is 3 years from the purchase

date. In the event of defects in this

product, you are entitled to exercise

your statutory rights against the seller

of the product. These statutory rights

are not limited by our warranty de-

scribed in the following.

10. Warranty conditions

The warranty begins on the date of

purchase. Please keep the original

receipt. This document is required as

veriﬁcation of the purchase.

If a material or manufacturing defect

arises within three years from the pur-

chase date of this product, the prod-

uct will be repaired or replaced, as

per our choice, at no charge to you.

This warranty service requires the

submission of the purchase receipt

and the defective product within the

three-year period and a short written

description of the defect and when it

arose.

If the defect is covered by our war-

ranty, the repaired or a new product

will be returned to you. The warranty

period does not restart with the re-

pair or replacement of the product.

Guarantee period and statu-

tory claims for defects

The guarantee period will not be

extended by the warranty. This also

applies to replaced and repaired

parts. Damage and defects which

may possibly already exist upon pur-

chase must be reported immediately

after unpacking. After the guarantee

period has expired, required repairs

shall be subject to a charge.

Scope of guarantee

The device has been carefully pro-

duced under strict quality guidelines

and conscientiously inspected prior

to delivery. The guarantee service

applies to material or manufactur-

ing faults. This guarantee does not

extend to product parts, which are

exposed to normal wear and tear

and can therefore be regarded as

wearing parts or to damage to frag-

ile parts, e.g. switches, battery packs

or which are made of glass.

This guarantee shall lapse, if the prod-

uct is damages, not used properly or

maintained properly. For proper use

of the product, all of the instructions

in the operating instructions must be

precisely complied with. Purposes

and actions, which are dissuaded

from or warned about in the operat-

ing instructions must be avoided.

The product is only intended for pri-

vate and not commercial use. In the

case of abusive and improper han-

dling, use of force and with interven-

tions, which are not performed by

our authorised service branch, the

guarantee shall lapse.

guarantee claim.

csenek becsípődve vagy elgörbülve.

2. Hajtsa a felső fedőt a 5 termé-

ken 1 felfelé, lásd a .C. ábrát

talmazza) hátoldalával lefelé a

4. Hajtsa le a felső fedőt 5 a termé-

ken 1 és nyomja rá a tépőzárat

5. Tartsa a terméket a 1 megfele-

lő pozíción a kormányrúdon 7,

lásd az F. ábrát.

6. Helyezze a rögzítőszalagot 3 a

kormány alá 7 és vezesse át a

fűzőlyukon 4, lásd a .G. ábrát

7. Húzza a rögzítőszalagot 3

olyan feszesre, hogy a termék

szorosan illeszkedjen a 7 kormá-

nyon. Zárja be a rögzítőszalag

tépőzárát 3.

8. Biztosítsa a rögzítőszalagot 3 a

kioldás ellen a biztonsági zárral

TUDNIVALÓ!

Ellenőrizze a termék szoros rögzülé-

sét a kormányon. Ha a termék nem

rögzül elég szorosan, nyissa ki újra a

rögzítőszalagot, és szorítsa meg job-

ban. Biztosítsa a rögzítőszalagot a

a kioldás ellen.

vásárlástól számított 3 év jótállás

érvényes. A termék hibája esetén a

termék forgalmazójával szemben

önt a törvény által előírt jogok illetik

meg. Ezeket a törvényes jogokat az

alábbiakban leírt jótállásunk nem

korlátozza.

Garanciális feltételek

A jótállás időtartama a vásárlás

napján kezdődik. Kérjük, gondosan

őrizze meg az eredeti pénztári bi-

zonylatot. Ezzel a bizonylattal tudja

igazolni a vásárlás tényét. Amennyi-

ben a vásárlástól számított három

éven belül anyagbeli vagy gyártási

hiba merül fel, akkor a terméket –

cégünk döntése alapján – vagy díj-

talanul megjavítjuk, vagy kicseréljük.

A jótállás előfeltétele, hogy a három

éves időtartamon belül átadásra ke-

rüljön a meghibásodott készülék és a

vásárlást igazoló bizonylat (nyugta),

és rövid írásos leírást kapjunk a hiba

jellegéről és a fellépés időpontjáról.

Amennyiben a hiba a jótállásunk

hatálya alá tartozik, akkor a javított

vagy kicserélt terméket küldjük vissza

önnek. A termék javításával vagy

cseréjével nem kezdődik új jótállási

időtartam.

Garancia időtartama és

igények

A garancia időtartamát a garancia

nem hosszabbítja meg. Ez a kicse-

rélt és megjavított alkatrészekre is

érvényes. Az esetlegesen már a vá-

sárlás során fennálló sérüléseket és

hiányosságokat már a kicsomagolást

követően azonnal jelenteni kell. A

garancia időtartamának letelte után

a keletkező javítások díjkötelesek.

A garancia terjedelme

A készülék szigorú minőségi irány-

elvek alapján készült és a szállítást

megelőzően lelkiismeretes elle-

nőrzésen esett át. A garancia az

anyag- és gyártási hibákra érvényes.

A garancia nem érvényes azokra a

termékalkatrészekre, amelyek nor-

mál kopásnak vannak kitéve és ezért

azok kopó alkatrésznek tekinthetők,

vagy törékeny alkatrészeken kelet-

kező sérülésekre, például kapcsoló,

akkumulátorok vagy üvegből készült

elemekre.

A garancia semmissé válik, ha a

termék sérült, nem szakszerűen

használták vagy tartották karban. A

termék szakszerű használata érde-

kében a használati útmutatóban fel-

sorolt utasításokat pontosan be kell

tartani. Feltétlenül kerülni kell azokat

1. Úvod
