Product description
JANE Guard Alarm is an accessory device that works with the
phone application and functions as a reminder device in case
the user leaves their mobile phone and a baby in a car. If both
the phone and the baby stay in the car, the device will sound
like an alarm. If the baby is not removed and the alert is
resolved, then the mobile application that has lost the
connection to the device will send an alarm message and GPS
coordinates to other users.
The alarm device must be paired with the app and can work
with up to four GUARD Cushions together.
Contents of this box:
1. Guard Alarm Device
2. Ring with string to make it serve as a key ring
3. User manual

The device will be
automatically paired with
the App and when the
device is paired, the device
photo will change from
black and white to full
color.
Once paired, press the BACK
bar to return to the main
application screen.
A new battery charge level
indicator will appear above
the JANE logo, as shown
below. This shows that the
alert device is already
operational.
To turn it on for the rst time or change the battery, press the
switch for 4-5 seconds to conrm that it is working properly,
the blue LED will turn o once. If the battery has less than
20% charge, the product will ash a blue LED light
continuously to warn that battery replacement is necessary.
OPERATION WITH THE APP of the mobile phone:
To activate the device with the APP it is rst necessary to pair
it. First press the Jane logo and then the connection bar, as
shown below.
-The device is now paired and in normal use will always be
connected to the waiting application. Only one alarm will sound
for the user, in case he left the mobile phone and an unattended
baby in the car.
-In the event that the mobile phone is left behind in the vehicle
with a baby sitting on the cushion (Jané GUARD CUSHION) of the
car seat, and the user has been away from the car for about
12-15 metres, the key ring will go into alarm and emit an alert
sound and its LED light will ash continuously.
-The device will remain in this activated alarm state until the
button is pressed to deactivate it or until the baby is removed
from the car seat.
-If the alarm has not been resolved by removing the child from
the car seat or the application has lost contact with the device
Jane Alarm will proceed through the application to send an
alarm notication message to all associated users, with a
message, which will say for example:
(Baby's name) was abandoned at these GPS coordinates ..............
The associated users can then open a map and see the exact
position of the place where the child has been left and a rescue
can be set in motion.
OPERATION OF THE ALARM WITHOUT THE TELEPHONE APP:
Without the APP, the GUARD ALARM keyring can be used
directly with the GUARD CUSHION, also functioning as an alarm
that will warn the user if they move away from their vehicle
leaving the baby unattended. These are the steps to follow to
link the devices:
-Press the button on the device once to switch it on (the LED
will ash 4 times) and then press it again for 6 seconds to
change from APP’ to ‘Direct’ mode (the device will beep
continuously until you release the button).
-Press the button again for 1 second to activate the pairing
process (only the rst time).
-Next, press the centre of the GUARD Cushion until you hear it
beep and after a few seconds the devices will pair up. If the LED
ashes every 2 seconds, the battery is charged. Otherwise, the
LED will ash very quickly.
-If communication is lost for any reason, the device will switch
to Alarm’ mode to warn the user.
-To cancel this connection, keep the button pressed down for
15 seconds to return to APP’ mode from ‘Direct mode (this time
you will hear successive beeps until you release the button
when changing from one mode to the other).
