Remote Keyless Entry
(RKE) System
The Remote Keyless Entry (RKE)
transmitter may work up to 60 m
(197 ft) away from the vehicle.
Press the key release button t o
extend the key. Th e key can be
used for all lo cks.
K:Press to unlock the driver door
or all doors.
Q:Press to lock all doors.
7 7:Press and hold for at least
three seconds to sound the p anic
alarm.
/:Press and release Qand then
immediately press and h old /for at
l east four seconds to start the
vehicle's heating or air conditionin g
systems and rear window defogger
from outside the vehicle using the
RKE transm itter.

Remote Start
Use remote st art to heat or cool the
interior when the vehicle is plugged
in to maximize electric range by
utilizing electricity from the e lectr ical
outlet. Normal operation of the
system will return after the vehicle
has been turned on.
