LOADING THE B TTERIESA
1. Load the batteries as shown.
2. Replace both batteries with fresh batteries when thealkaline
FLAS READY LIGHTH- takes more than 30 seconds to come on.

LOADING THE FILM
For excellent all-around results for indoor and
outdoor picture-taking, use ISO 400-speed
lm. For use in bright daylight, you can use
ISO 100- or ISO 200-speed lm. If in sunlight,
turn your back to the sun and load the lm in
the shade of your bod .y
1. Push up on the - FILM DOOR L TCA H (10)
to open the .FILM DOOR (15)

the LENS (4) and to turn

4. Close the lm door and check
the FILM WINDOW (you should(16)

the window). Do not open the
lm door after you start
taking pictures or you will
ruin the lm.

TAKING PICTURES
This camera features a ash that res
every time
you take a picture.
The all-the-time ash feature acts as a ll ash in hazy outdoor
pictures or in bright-light conditions where shadows may exist.
1. Slide the - LENS COVER SWITCH (5)
completely open to uncover
the LENS (4) and to turn the
FLASH on.(6)

2. For a sharp picture, stand
at least 4 ft (1.2 m) from your
subject.
3. Look through the VIEWFINDER
EYEPIECE (20) to see your subject.
4. Hold the camera steady and gently press the SHUTTER BUT ONT (2)
to take the picture. Be careful not to cover the ash and
picture-taking lens with your ngers.
5. Wind the - FILM AD ANCEV WHEEL (17)
until it stops our camera is. Y

6. Close the lens-cover switch when
you nish taking pictures.

UNLOADING THE FILM
The lm will not advance when you reach the end of the roll. Y uo
must rewind the lm before you open the lm door or you will
ruin the lm.
1. To rewind the lm, slide the
FILM REWIND LEVER- in until(18)
it latches and remains in the
locked position.
2. Unfold the - FILM REWIND HANDLE (7)
and slowly turn it in the direction
of th arro There should bee w.
tension when turning the lm-
rewind handle and less tension
when the lm is fully rewound.
3. Open the andFILM DOOR (15)
remove the lm.
NOTE: The lm-rewind lever will
unlock when you load another lm into the camera.

TAKING FLASH PICTURES
4. Hold the camera steady and gently press the SHUTTER BUT ONT (2)
to take the picture. Be careful not to cover the ash and
picture-taking lens with your ngers.

LIGHT (21) glows.
3. Keep the subject within the distance range for the speed of lm in
your camera. Don’t take pictures beyond the maximum distance
or your pictures will be dark.

1. Protect the camera from dust, moisture, sudden impact, and
excessive heat.
CAUTION: Do not use solvents or harsh or abrasive cleaners on the
camera bod .y
2. If the lens appears dirt , breathe on it to form a mist and wipe they
surface gently with a soft, lintless cloth or lens-cleaning tissue. Do not
apply pressure or you will scratch the lens. Never wipe a dry lens.
CAUTION: Do not use solvents or solutions not designed for cleaning
camera lenses. Do not use chemically treated tissues intended for
cleaning eyeglasses.
3. Remove the batteries when you store the camera for a long time.
CAUTION: To prevent possible damage and electrical shock, do not try
to take apart or repair the camera or ash unit by yourself.

2. Cambie las dos baterías por baterías nuevas cuandoalcalinas

Para resultados excelentes al tomar fotografías en

sensibilidad de ISO 400. Para uso en días de sol
brillante, puede usar película con ISO 100 o 200.

3. Saque solamente suciente
película para que el borde de
la película llegue a la marca
del borde de película. Ponga
la película lisa entre los
carriles de guía de la película.
