Active Speaker
These instructions are intended for in-
stallers with specific knowledge of PA
technology. Please read the instructions
carefully prior to installation and keep
them for later reference.
1 Applications
This active horn speaker is designed for speech
transmission (e. g. in connection with video sur-
veillance systems). It has a 30 W amplifier that
requires a DC voltage of 12 – 24 V for power
supply. Due to its weatherproof housing (IP 66),
the speaker is also suitable for outdoor instal-
lation.
2 Important Notes
The product corresponds to all relevant direc-
tives of the EU and is therefore marked with .
•
Protect the product against extreme temper-
atures. The admissible ambient temperature
range is −20 to +50 °C.
•
The product is weatherproof, but it is not
watertight. Therefore, do not immerse the
product in water.
•
For cleaning the product, never use aggres-
sive detergents or chemicals.
•
No guarantee claims for the product and no
liability for any resulting personal damage
or material damage will be accepted if the
product is not correctly used or not expertly
repaired.
If the product is to be put out of
operation definitively, dispose of the
product in accordance with local reg-
ulations.
3 Installation
Use the mounting bracket to fasten the
speaker at a suitable location. If possible, find
a mounting location above head height in
order to achieve a large range and to protect
the hearing of any persons in the vicinity of
the speaker from high volumes. To align the
speaker, loosen the locking screws of the
bracket and tighten them again after align-
ment.
4 Connection
Connect an audio source with line level to the
cable SIGNAL INPUT with the white (signal) and
black (ground) wires. Connect a DC voltage
source of 12 – 24 V to the cable POWER SUPPLY
with the red (positive pole) and black (negative
pole = ground) wires.
Note: The connection cables inside IT-130AK are attached
to the PCB via screw terminals, so they can be
easily replaced.
5 Operation
To make sure that the initial volume is not
too high, use a screwdriver to turn the control
VOLUME to the left stop (position MIN) before
operating the speaker for the first time. Make a
test operation to set the desired volume.

Aktiver Lautsprecher
Diese Anleitung richtet sich an Installateure

1 Verwendungsmöglichkeiten
Der aktive Druckkammerlautsprecher ist für
die Sprachübertragung (z. B. in Verbindung
mit Video- Überwachungsanlagen) konzipiert.
Er verfügt über einen 30-W-Verstärker, der
zur Stromversorgung eine Gleichspannung
von 12 – 24 V benötigt. Durch das wetterfeste
Gehäuse (IP 66) ist der Lautsprecher auch für
Außen installationen geeignet.
2 Wichtige Hinweise
Das Produkt entspricht allen relevanten Richtli-
nien der EU und trägt deshalb das -Zeichen.
•
Schützen Sie das Produkt vor extremen Tem-
peraturen. Der zulässige Einsatztemperatur-
bereich beträgt −20 bis +50 °C.
•
Das Produkt ist wettergeschützt, aber nicht
wasserdicht. Tauchen Sie es darum nicht in
Wasser ein.
•
Verwenden Sie für die Reinigung keine
aggressiven Reinigungsmittel oder Chemi-
kalien.
•
Wird das Produkt falsch verwendet oder nicht
fachgerecht repariert, kann keine Haftung für
daraus resultierende Sach- oder Personen-
schäden und keine Garantie für das Produkt
übernommen werden.
Soll das Produkt endgültig aus dem
Betrieb genommen werden, entsor-
gen Sie es gemäß den örtlichen Vor-
schriften.
3 Montage
Den Lautsprecher mit dem Montagebügel an
geeigneter Stelle festschrauben. Wählen Sie
nach Möglichkeit eine Montagestelle über
Kopfhöhe, um eine große Reichweite zu er-
reichen und das Gehör von Personen in der
Nähe des Lautsprechers nicht durch eine hohe
Lautstärke zu gefährden. Zum Ausrichten die
Feststellschrauben des Bügels lösen und nach
dem Ausrichten wieder festdrehen.
4 Anschluss
Eine Tonquelle mit Line-Pegel an das Kabel
SIGNAL INPUT mit den Adern Weiß (Sig-
nal) und Schwarz (Masse) anschließen. Eine
Gleichspannungsquelle 12 – 24 V an das Kabel
POWER SUPPLY mit den Adern Rot (Pluspol)
und Schwarz (Minuspol = Masse) anschließen.
Hinweis: Die Anschlusskabel sind im IT-130AK über
Schraubklemmen auf der Platine befestigt,
sodass sie sich leicht ersetzen lassen.
5 Bedienung
Um nicht eine zu hohe Anfangslautstärke zu er-
halten, vor dem ersten Betrieb den Lautstärke-
regler VOLUME mithilfe eines Schraubendre-
hers zunächst auf Linksanschlag (Position MIN)
drehen. Im Testbetrieb die gewünschte Laut-
stärke einstellen.
