GETTING STARTED
CHARGING YOUR TRIMMER
Before using your trimmer for the first time, charge for 14-16 hours.
Ensure the product is switched off.
Connect the charging adaptor to the product and then to the mains. The charging indicator
will light up.
If the product is not going to be used for an extended period time (2-3 months), unplug it
from the mains and store.
Fully recharge your trimmer when you would like to use it again.
To preserve the life of your batteries, let them run out every six months then recharge for
90 minutes.
CHARGING VIA STANDARD ELECTRICAL SOCKET
Ensure the product is switched off.
Connect the charging adaptor to the product and then to the mains.
When charging the digital display will illuminate.
Allow 90 minutes for a complete charge.
USB CHARGING VIA PC
Ensure the product is switched off.
Connect your USB cable to the USB port on the PC
Connect the USB cable to your trimmer
When charging the digital display will illuminate.
Allow 90 minutes for a complete charge.
CORDED USE
Connect the charging adaptor to the product and then to the mains.
When the cord is connected to the mains, a digital display will be displayed on the trimmer.
CAUTION: Extended mains only use will result in the reduction of the battery life.
WARNING: The trimmer can not be operated in corded mode while connected to a PC
via the USB port.
CORDLESS USE
When the unit is switched on and fully charged, the product can be used in cordless mode
for up to 40 minutes.

HOW TO US E
BEFORE YOU BEGIN
Always comb your beard or moustache with a ne comb before you start trimming.
USING THE TOUCH SCREEN
ADJUSTING THE TRIM LENGTH
The trimmer comb can be adjusted to give you 175 different trim lengths, with 0.1mm
increase, simply by pressing the arrows on the touch screen. Press and hold the arrow up
to increase the cutting length and down to decrease it. The comb will move to reach each
setting, the lengths will change slowly and then speeds up as you hold the up/down arrow, and
the setting number will appear on the digital display.
NOTE: Trimmer comb must be attached to the groomer in order to use the hair length
selector. To achieve 0.4mm, the comb must be removed.
TO THIN AND TAPER THE BEARD/MOUSTACHE (DIAGRAM 1)
Use the touch screen to set the trimmer comb to the desired length setting. The setting will
appear on the length position indicator. If you are trimming for the rst time start with the
maximum trimming length setting
Turn the unit on.
Place the at top of the trimmer comb against the skin.
Slowly slide the trimmer through the hair. Repeat from different directions as necessary.
If hair builds up in the trimmer comb during the trimming process, switch the unit off, pull off
the comb and brush off.
TO DEFINE THE BEARD/MOUSTACHE LINE
Remove the trimmer comb attachment.
Start with edge of beard/moustache line and gently lower the trimmer blade onto your skin.
Use motions towards edge of beard/moustache line to trim to desired locations in facial area
and away from beard in neck area.
Shape as desired.
TRIMMING EDGE OF SIDEBURNS (DIAGRAM 2)
Hold the trimmer with the trimmer blade facing you.
Start with edge of sideburn, and with the trimmer blades resting lightly against your skin, use
motions towards edge of sideburn line to trim to desired locations in facial area.
Shape as desired.
TRIMMING THE NAPE OF YOUR NECK
NOTE: You will need a hand mirror for this operation if performing it alone.
Remove the trimmer comb attachment.
Use your ngers to lift the hair at the base of your head up off the neck. Your index nger
should be covering the roots of the hairs you are lifting to prevent accidental removal by
trimmer.

With your other hand, use the trimmer as shown in.
Using your other hand, hold the trimmer to the base of your neck with the cutting unit facing
up, and move the trimmer up the length of the neck until it touches your finger covering the
hair roots at the base of your head.
Be sure to move the unit slowly when performing this operation and to keep the hair roots at
the base of your head out of the way of the trimmer.
Tips for best results
Beard, moustache and sideburn hairs should be dry.
Avoid using lotions before using your trimmer.
CARE FOR YOUR PERSONAL GROOMER
AFTER EACH USE
Turn the trimmer off.
Remove trimmer comb attachment and cutter assembly.
Gently brush the remaining hairs away from the trimmer comb and trimmer blade.
Do not rinse the cutter assembly under water.
CLEANING CAUTIONS
Only the trimmer comb attachment and trimmer blade may be removed from the product for
cleaning.
Cleaning should be done with a soft brush, such as the brush supplied with the product.
This trimmer is not washable.
Do not rinse under water.
Do not use harsh or corrosive cleaners on the units or their blades.
Do not submerge in water as damage will occur.
STORAGE
Always store this appliance and cord in a moisture-free area. Do not store it in
temperatures exceeding 140°F (60°C).
Do not wrap the cord of the charging adaptor around the appliance.
CLEANING
Ensure the shaver is switched off and unplugged from the mains outlet.
Never use the cleaning brush on the foils as damage may occur.

Remove the upper circuit board.
Cut the motor connecting wires and remove the motor bracket, front portion of motor
bracket, comb rail, middle motor & gear chains.
Disconnect the batteries from the lower circuit board by solder iron then remove.
The batteries are to be disposed of safety.
SERVICE AND WARRANTY
This product has been checked and is free of defects. We warrant this product against any
defects that are due to the faulty material or workmanship for a 3 year period from the
original date of consumer purchase. If the product should become defective within the
warranty period, we will repair any such defect or elect to replace the product or any par t
of it without charge provided there is proof of purchase. This does not mean an extension
of the warranty period.
In the case of a warranty simply call the Remington
® Service Centre in your region.
This warranty is offered over and above your normal statutory rights.
The warranty shall apply in all countries in which our product was sold via an authorised
dealer.
This warranty does not include shaving heads / foils and the cutters which are consumable
parts. Also, not covered is damage to the product by accident or misuse, abuse, alteration
to the product or use inconsistent with the technical and/or safety instructions required.
This warranty shall not apply if the product has been dismantled or repaired by a person
not authorised by us.

Verwenden Sie mit der anderen Hand den Trimmer.
Halten Sie mit der anderen Hand den Trimmer mit nach oben gerichtetem Scherkopf
an den Nackenansatz und bewegen Sie den Trimmer den Nacken so weit hinauf, bis er
Ihren Finger, der die Haarwurzeln am Kopfansatz schützt, berührt.
Achten Sie darauf, dass Sie das Gerät dabei langsam bewegen und dass Sie die Haare am
Kopfansatz nicht mit dem Trimmer abschneiden.
Tipps für optimale Trimmergebnisse
Bart, Schnurrbart und Koteletten müssen trocken sein.
Benutzen Sie vor Gebrauch Ihres Bart-/ Haarschneider keine Hautpflegemittel.
DIE PFLEGE IHRES BART-/ HAARSCHNEIDER
REINIGUNG UND PFLEGE IHRES TRIMMERS
NACH DEM GEBRAUCH
Schalten Sie den Bart-/ Haarschneider aus.
Entfernen Sie den Kammaufsatz sowie den Klingenblock.
Entfernen Sie vorsichtig die verbleibenden Haare von Trimmerkamm und Trimmerklinge.
Spülen Sie den Klingenblock nicht unter Wasser ab.
REINIGUNG
Nur der Kammaufsatz und der Klingenblock dürfen für die Reinigung vom Gerät entfernt
werden.
Die Reinigung sollte mit einer weichen Bürste erfolgen, wie sie mit dem Produkt mitgeliefert
wird.
Dieser Trimmer ist nicht abwaschbar.
Spülen Sie ihn nicht unter Wasser ab.
Verwenden Sie keine scharfen oder ätzenden Reinigungsmittel an den Geräteteilen oder
Klingen.
Tauchen sie das Gerät nicht in Wasser, da es sonst beschädigt wird.
AUFBEWAHRUNG
Bewahren Sie das Gerät und das Netzkabel stets an einem trockenen Ort auf. Bewahren Sie
das Gerät bei einer Umgebungstemperatur von maximal 60 °C auf.
Wickeln Sie das Netzkabel des Ladeadapters nicht um das Gerät.

VERWIJDEREN/AFVOEREN VAN DE BATTERIJ
Volg onderstaande instructies om de batterij veilig te verwijderen:
De batterij moet verwijderd worden voor u de trimmer weggooit.
Zet de trimmer aan en zorg voor het ontladen van de resterende batterijcapaciteit.
Verwijder de opzetkam.
Verwijder het snijblad.
Verwijder de clip met een schroevendraaier.
Trek de bovenste behuizing er voorzichtig uit met een schroevendraaier.
Schroef de zes schroeven van de motorhouder los en verwijder vervolgens de onderste
behuizing.
Verwijder de bovenste printplaat.
Snijd de draden van de motor los en verwijder de motorhouder, het voorste gedeelte van de
motorhouder, de kamrail, de middelste motor & de transmissie
Koppel de batterijen los van de onderste printplaat en verwijder ze.
U kunt de batterijen op een veilige manier verwijderen.
SERVICE EN GARANTIE
Dit product is gecontroleerd en is vrij van gebreken. Wij garanderen voor de
garantieperiode vanaf de oorspronkelijke aankoopdatum dat dit product vrij is van
gebreken ten aanzien van materiaal en afwerking. Mocht het product binnen de
garantieperiode defect gaan, dan zullen wij het product naar eigen inzicht kosteloos geheel
vervangen of gedeeltelijk repareren, mits een bewijs van aankoop kan worden overhandigd.
Dit zal de garantietermijn echter niet verlengen.

® Service Center in uw regio.
Deze garantie wordt verleend naast de aan u standaard toegekende geldende wettelijke
consumentenrechten.

garantie is niet van toepassing indien het product door derden werd gedemonteerd of werd
