Avvertenze

• Sovraccarichi, archi elettrici e cortocircuiti danneggiano irreparabilmente il

dimmer. Prima dell’installazione eseguire un’attenta verifica del circuito elimi-

nando le eventuali cause sopra esposte.

• La potenza nominale non deve essere mai superata.

• Il dimmer non deve essere sottoposto a fonti di calore.

• Il dimmer non è provvisto di interruzione meccanica nel circuito principale e non

fornisce quindi separazione galvanica. Il circuito sul lato carico deve essere

considerato sempre in tensione.

• Non installare più dimmer nella stessa scatola.

Regole di installazione

• Prima di operare sull’impianto togliere tensione agendo sull’interruttore generale.

• Utilizzare conduttori isolati di colore giallo/verde solo per il collegamento di terra.

• Verificare che la sezione dei conduttori di alimentazione sia adeguata al

carico alimentato ed in ogni caso non inferiore a 1,5 mm

• Serrare accuratamente i conduttori nei morsetti, in quanto serraggi imperfetti

possono provocare surriscaldamenti fino a temperature sufficienti ad innescare

un incendio.

• I trasformatori ferromagnetici devono essere collegati al dimmer sul prima-

rio ed il carico collegato al secondario deve essere di tipo ohmico; devono

avere basse perdite ed essere opportunamente sovradimensionati.

• Un ronzio da parte del trasformatore a circa metà livello di regolazione

è del tutto normale.

• Non deve mai essere sezionata la linea tra trasformatore e carico.

Caratteristiche

Regolazione mediante potenziometro rotativo: l’intensità della spia luminosa

decresce all’aumentare della luminosità delle lampade comandate.

Apparecchi da utilizzare in luoghi asciutti e non polverosi a temperatura com-

presa tra -5 °C e +35 °C.

Collegamenti

Il collegamento può avvenire sia tra fase e neutro sia tra fase e fase, sempre in

serie al carico, come risulta dagli schemi sottoriportati:

A: in luogo di un interruttore

B: in aggiunta ad un interruttore

C: in un circuito che realizza due o più punti di manovra

(deviatori - invertitori)

D: in un circuito che usa il relè interruttore comandato da pulsanti

Warnings

• Overloads, arcing and short-circuits will irreparably damage the dimmer.

Before the installation a careful circuit inspection must be made to eliminate the

above mentioned causes.

• The rated load must never be exceeded.

• The dimmer must not be exposed to direct heat sources.

• The dimmer does not provide a mechanical switch in the main circuit

and does not provide a full ‘off state’. Therefore the circuit on the load

side must be considered to be always live.

• Do not install more than one dimmer in the same box.

Installation rules

• Disconnect the mains acting on the main switch before operating on the

system.

• Use the yellow/green insulated conductors only for the connection to the

earthing circuit.

• Verify if the supply conductors cross-sectional area is sufficient for the

feeded load, in any case it shall never be less than 1.5 mm

• Clamp fully, with care, the conductors in the terminals.

Faulty clampings can cause temperature rises high enough for a fire risk.

• The ferromagnetic transformers must be connected to the dimmer on the

transformer primary and the load connected to the transformer secondary

must be an ohmic load; they must be of the low losses type and must be

adequately oversized.

• A buzzer noise of the transformer at the middle setting level is normal.

• The line between the transformer and the load must never be cut out.

Characteristics

Regulation by rotary actuating knob: the indicator lamp brightness decreases as

the loaded lamps brightness increases.

Equipments to be used in dry, undusty locations, at a room temperature between

- 5 °C and +35 °C.

Connection

The dimmer can be connected both phase-neutral and phase-phase, in series

with the load as indicated in the following diagrams:

A: instead of a switch

B: in addition to a switch

C: in a circuit with two or more operating points (2-way switches,

reversing switches)

D: in a circuit with a 1-way switch relay actuated through pushbutttons

a 25 cm. L’adeguata raccolta differenziata per l’avvio successivo dell’apparecchiatura dismessa al

riciclaggio, al trattamento e allo smaltimento ambientalmente compatibile contribuisce ad evitare

possibili effetti negativi sull’ambiente e sulla salute e favorisce il reimpiego e/o riciclo dei materiali

di cui è composta l’apparecchiatura.

WEEE - Information for users

If the crossed-out bin symbol appears on the equipment or packaging, this means the product

must not be included with other general waste at the end of its working life. The user must

take the worn product to a sorted waste center, or return it to the retailer when purchasing a

new one. Products for disposal can be consigned free of charge (without any new purchase

obligation) to retailers with a sales area of at least 400 m
