OPERATING
INSTRUCTIONS
CHARGING
1. Before using the trimmer for the first
time, charge continuously for 3 hours.
Maximum battery capacity will be reached
only after 3 charging and discharging
cycles.
2. To charge the trimmer, first ensure the
trimmer is switched off, then insert the small
plug on the charging adapter into the hole on
the bottom of the trimmer. Plug the adapter
into any wall outlet (at the voltage listed on the
label affixed to the adapter). Unplug adapter
when not in use.
3. The adapter may become warm while
charging. This is normal.
4. The red charging LED indicator light on the
trimmer will flash when correctly connected.
When it is fully charged, the red charging LED
indicator light will stay red and stop flashing.
5. A full charge will supply 90 minutes of
cordless runtime.
6. When the trimmer is running low on a
charge, the LED indicator light will flash,
warning you that there is approximately 10
minutes of battery use remaining.
7. To maintain optimum capacity of the
rechargeable battery, it is highly recommended
to fully discharge and then recharge the
trimmer for 3 hours every 6 months.
WARNING: If the charging light suddenly
starts to flash rapidly, the appliance is faulty.
If this happens, please stop charging, remove
the adapter from the outlet and contact our
Customer Care Center at 1-800-3-CONAIR.
TRIMMER CHARGING
PRECAUTIONS
• Avoid charging the battery at temperatures
below 41°F (5°C) or above 95°F (35°C).
• Avoid charging the battery in direct sunlight
or near a radiating heat source.
Even though the trimmer may not be used
for an extended period of time, charge once a
month to preserve battery life.
• The power cord cannot be replaced. If it is
damaged, the DC adapter should be discarded.
CORDED USE
To use the trimmer connected directly to a
power source:
1. Ensure the trimmer is switched off.
2. Insert the small plug on the charging adapter
into the hole on the bottom of the trimmer.
3. Plug the charging adapter into a suitable
power source and switch on.
The red LED charging light will flash when the
adapter is correctly inserted into the appliance
and connected to an outlet.
NOTE: If the battery is weak and low on a
charge, wait approximately 1 minute before
switching the trimmer on.
WET/DRY FEATURE
This device is water resistant. It may be
exposed to splashing water in the shower,
and can be rinsed clean under the faucet,
but should never be completely submerged
in water.

TAKING CARE
OF YOUR TRIMMER
BLADE CARE
Because the trimmer blades are precision
made for a very special use, they should
always be handled with care. Rinse blades
under water only, allow to air-dry and store
the trimmer until the next use.
To promote the long life of the appliance, use
your trimmer only for the purpose intended by
the manufacturer.
USING THE SHAVER HEAD
ATTACHMENT
The shaver head attachment is designed
to provide a clean, close shave. Take care
with the foil as it is very sensitive and easily
damaged. Always inspect it for damage before
you use it. Never use a foil that is damaged, as
this can result in injury. Make sure your skin
is clean and dry before use. Do not use any
lotions or oils before shaving.
SHAVING
NOTE: If you are switching to an electric or
battery-operated shaver for the first time,
it will take about 12 uses for your skin
and hair to adjust to this new method of
removing hair. Do not evaluate performance
until you have allowed your skin and hair
time to adjust.
HOW TO CLEAN YOUR SHAVER
HEAD ATTACHMENT
1. Make sure unit is in the OFF position
before cleaning.
2. Hold shaver head attachment and lift up
from the back (Fig. 5), then press foil frame
release buttons on each side and lift up (the
cutter will now be in view). Be careful not to
push on the foils. They are delicate and can
easily be damaged.

3. Rinse the shaving foil under running water or
in a sink. Do not use hot water. Use only warm
or cold water.
4. After rinsing, allow the shaving foil to air-dry.
5. If the body of the power handle becomes
dirty, wipe off with a damp cloth and mild
detergent or soap. Never use thinners, other
solvents, or any harsh cleaners.
To maintain the best cutting performance, be
sure to replace the foil head and cutter after
every 6 months of regular use. Contact Conair
Consumer Service at 1-800-3-CONAIR to order
the replacement parts.
