USED.
23. DO NOT USE PAD ON SENSITIVE SKIN OR WHEN TAKING MEDICATION
THAT CAN CAUSE SENSITIVE SKIN.
24. DO NOT DRY-CLEAN THIS HEATING PAD. CLEANING SOLVENTS
MAY HAVE A DETERIORATING EFFECT ON THE INSULATION OF THE
HEATING ELEMENT.
WARNING – The Conair Memory Foam Heating Pad is an electrical
device. To avoid electric shock:
1. Do not wash the unit with water. See Washing Instructions.
2. Do not touch the plug or device with wet hands.
3. Do not touch unit to wet skin.
4. Do not use if cord or plug appears to be damaged.
5. Do not use the unit if it has been damaged, torn, or has come in contact
with water.
6. Do not pull, lift, or carry unit by the power cord.
7. Do not operate the unit in areas where flammable or combustible products
or vapors may be present. Explosion or fire may occur.
8. Do not allow children to use – this is not a toy. Do not leave small children
unattended close to unit.
9. Not to be used by disabled, sleeping or unconscious persons.
Cautions:
• This heating pad should not be used in the following cases: If you have
diabetes, tuberculosis, benign or malignant tumors, phlebitis and thrombosis,
hemorrhages, inflammation of the skin, undetermined calf pain or joint pain,
or if you have poor circulation. Consult a physician before using if you have
any kind of fungal infection, swelling, fracture or persistent pain.
• Consult your physician should you have any therapeutic questions
regarding use of this heating pad.
• Do not use on any unexplained pain, or swollen muscles, or following a
serious muscular injury before consulting your physician.
• Keep away from children.
• Discontinue use of product if pain increases or swelling occurs
after application.
• Do not use while bathing or showering. Use only in a dry area.
• Consult your doctor before using in case of illness or medical condition,
including but not limited to pacemaker use, pregnancy or cancer.
• If you experience pain in a muscle or joint for a prolonged period of time,
discontinue use and consult your doctor. Persistent pain could be a symptom
of a more serious condition.
• Never use any heating products on open wounds, discolored areas, or any

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
USING THE HEATING PAD
Remove the contents from the box. Attach the AC power cable to the power jack on
the heating pad. Plug the cable into a 110-120V AC wall outlet. Press the ON/OFF
button on the controller to turn the heat on Low. The LED indicator will display the
current heat level. Continue to press the ON/OFF button to increase the heat level
up to Medium and High. Press the ON/OFF button again back to the Low setting. To
turn off, press and hold ON/OFF button until all lights turn off. For maximum benet,
use should not exceed 30 minutes at one time.
NOTE: The heat will automatically turn off after 1 hour and the green LED indicator
will ash continuously. To reactive heating pad, press the ON/OFF button once. To
turn off, press and hold the ON/OFF button.
If the controller gets disconnected from the unit during use, you must unplug the
cord from the outlet, reconnect the controller to the unit, and then plug the cord
back into the outlet to resume use. If you do not unplug from the power outlet, the
red LED indicator light will ash and the heating pad will not work properly.
WASHING INSTRUCTIONS
NEVER dry-clean or use bleach. Disconnect ALL CORDS before washing. NEVER
submerge cord or control unit. Place textile portion without cords in the washing
machine.
HAND-WASHING (Recommended)
Washing this item by hand will result in a much longer product-life than using a ma-
chine. Disconnect all cord(s) and wash the textile separately by hand in lukewarm
(100°F) water, using a small amount of mild laundry detergent. Soak for 5 minutes,
then gently work the textile up and down for more than 5 minutes. NEVER rub or
scrub the textile. Rinse thoroughly in cool water until all traces of detergent are
gone. Squeeze excess water out by hand, NEVER twist. DO NOT use a wringer.
MACHINE WASHING INSTRUCTIONS
Wash by hand or as follows in an automatic washer using slow agitation and
normal spin speed: Fill washer with warm water. Add minimum amount of
all-purpose detergent, agitate to dissolve, measure heating pad before washing.
Add heating pad and soak 5 minutes. Agitate 2 minutes. Spin. Fill for cool rinse,
agitate 1 minute, then spin.
DRYING INSTRUCTIONS
NEVER use commercial dryers at the laundromat, as they may be extra hot and
could damage the wiring of the product. DO NOT iron. DO NOT plug in until
completely dry.
To machine dry, place in automatic dryer on high heat for only 5 minutes then line
dry (recommended). To completely dry, place item in a dryer on low heat and
allow to tumble until dry. Ensure that the textile has enough room to tumble freely.
If product draws during washing, gently stretch it while it is still damp until it
returns to its original size. DO NOT iron your heating pad.
To line dry, simply drape the item over two parallel clotheslines or a shower rod.
DO NOT reconnect the item until it is completely dry. DO NOT use clothespins,
as they can pinch the wires.
STORAGE
Unplug and store this item as you would any other heating pad, folded, and in a
dry place.
POLARIZED PLUG
This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other) as a
safety feature. To reduce the risk of electric shock, this plug is intended to t
into a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not t fully into the outlet,
reverse the plug. If it still does not t, contact a qualied electrician. Do not
attempt to defeat this safety feature. If the plug ts loosely into the AC outlet or
if the AC outlet feels warm, do not use that outlet.

HOW TO ASSEMBLE
To assemble the heating pad, insert the electrical cord into the connecting port
on the side of the heating pad. If moist heat is desired, follow instructions in the
Moist Heat Treatment section.

ADVERTENCIA – La almohadilla térmica de espuma con memoria Conair es
un dispositivo eléctrico. Para evitar el riesgo de descarga eléctrica:

INSTRUCCIONES DE OPERACIÓN
INSTRUCCIONES DE USO DE LA ALMOHADILLA TÉRMICA
Saque el contenido de la caja. Conecte el cable de alimentación al conector en el
costado de la almohadilla térmica. Enchufe el cable en una toma de corriente 110–120V
AC. Oprima el botón ON/OFF SETTINGS en el control para encender la unidad a baja
temperatura; el indicador LED mostrará el nivel de calor. Oprima repetidamente el botón
ON/OFF SETTINGS para aumentar la temperatura. Después de presionar el botón
ON/OFF SETTINGS tres veces, la temperatura volverá a “LOW” (bajo). Para apagar la
unidad, mantenga oprimo el botón ON/OFF SETTINGS hasta que todas las luces se
apaguen. Para sacar el máximo provecho de este producto, no lo use por más de 30
minutos a la vez.
NOTA: El calor se apagará automáticamente después de 60 minutos, y el indicador
luminoso verde parpadeará. Para reactivar la almohadilla, oprima el botón ON/OFF
SETTINGS. Para apagar, mantenga oprimido el botón ON/OFF.
Si el control se desconecta de la unidad durante el uso, deberá desenchufar el cable de
la toma de corriente, volver a conectar el control a la unidad, y luego volver a enchufar
el cable en la toma de corriente. Si no desenchufa el cable de la toma de corriente, el
indicador LED rojo parpadeará y la almohadilla térmica no funcionará correctamente.
INSTRUCCIONES DE LIMPIEZA
NUNCA limpie la almohadilla en seco o con cloro. Desconecte TODOS LOS CABLES
antes de lavar. NUNCA sumerja el cable o el control en agua u otro líquido. Meta la parte
de tela (sin cables) en la lavadora.
LAVADO A MANO (recomendado)
Lavar este producto a mano resultará en una vida útil mucho más larga que si se lava a
máquina. Desconecte todos los cables y lave la parte de tela por separado a mano en
agua tibia (100 °F/38 °C), usando una pequeña cantidad de detergente suave para ropa.
Remoje por 5 minutos, luego mueva suavemente la parte de tela hacia arriba y abajo
por más de 5 minutos. NUNCA frotes o restriegues la parte de tela. Enjuague bien en
agua fría hasta que no quede ningún rastro de detergente. Exprima el exceso de agua
suavemente con la mano. NUNCA tuerza la funda. NO use un escurridor.
INSTRUCCIONES DE LAVADO A MÁQUINA
Lave la funda a mano o como sigue en una lavadora automática usando
agitación lenta y velocidad normal: Llene la lavadora con agua tibia. Añada
una cantidad mínima de detergente multiusos y agite el agua para disolverlo.
Mida la almohadilla térmica antes de lavarla. Coloque la parte de tela de la
almohadilla en el agua y permita que se remoje por 2 minutos. Agite por 2
minutos. Centrifugue. Llene la máquina con agua fría para enjuagar, agite por 1
minuto, y luego centrifugue.
INSTRUCCIONES DE SECADO
NUNCA use secadoras comerciales (en la lavandería), p1-ya que producen aire
muy caliente y pueden dañar el cableado del producto. NO la planche. NO la
enchufe hasta que esté completamente seca.
Coloque en una secadora automática y seque a alta temperatura por solamente
5 minutos; luego cuelgue para terminar se secar (recomendado). Para secar
completamente en la secadora, seque a baja temperatura hasta que esté
seca. Cerciórese de que hay suficiente espacio en la secadora para que la
almohadille mueva libremente. Si la almohadilla se encoge durante el lavado,
estírela suavemente mientras esté aún húmeda hasta que vuelva a su tamaño
original. NO planche la almohadilla térmica.
Para colgar para secar, cuelgue la almohadilla en dos tendederos paralelos
o en una barra de ducha NO vuelva a conectar la almohadilla hasta que esté
completamente seca. NO use pinzas para ropa, p1-ya que pueden pellizcar los
cables.
ALMACENAJE
Desenchufe la almohadilla y guárdela doblada, en un lugar seco.
AVISO ELÉCTRICO
El cable de este aparato cuenta con un enchufe polarizado (una pata es más
ancha que la otra). Como medida de seguridad, aquel enchufe se podrá
enchufar de una sola manera en la toma de corriente de tierra. Si el enchufe
3 ajustes de calor:
HIGH (alto), MED
(medio), LOW (bajo)

ENSAMBLAJE
Para ensamblar la almohadilla térmica, inserte el cable en el puerto de
conexiónen el costado de la unidad. Si desea usar calor húmedo, siga las
instrucciones de la sección “Tratamiento con calor húmedo”.
CARACTERÍSTICAS DE LA ALMOHADILLA TÉRMICA
no entra en la toma de corriente, inviértelo. Si aun así no entra completamente,
comuníquese con un electricista. No intente ir en contra de esta función de
seguridad. Si el enchufe no entra sin forzar en la toma de corriente, o si la toma
de corriente está caliente, no use la toma de corriente.
