IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
When using an electrical appliance, basic safety precautions should always be taken,
including the following:

To reduce the risk of electric shock:
1) Always unplug this appliance from the electrical outlet immediately after using
and before cleaning.
2) Do not reach for an appliance that has fallen into water. Unplug immediately.
3) Do not place or store appliance where it can fall or be pulled into a tub or sink.
Do not place or drop into water or other liquids.
4) Never use pins or other metallic fasteners with this appliance.
5) Carefully examine the covering before each use. Discard the appliance if the
covering shows any sign of deterioration, such as checking, blistering or cracking.
6) Keep Dry – Do not operate in a wet or moist condition.
WARNING
To reduce the risk of burns, fire, electric shock, or injury
to persons:
1) An appliance should never be left unattended when plugged in or while turned
on. Unplug from outlet or turn to OFF position when not in use, and before
putting on or taking off parts.
2) This appliance should not be used by, on or near children or individuals with
certain disabilities.
3) Use this appliance only for its intended use as described in this manual. Do not
use attachments not recommended by Conair.
4) Never operate the appliance with the air openings blocked. Keep the air openings
free of lint, hair and the like.
5) This massager is not a toy!
6) Consult your doctor before using in case of pregnancy, illness, medical
condition, or persistent pain.
7) Do not use massager in close proximity to loose clothing or jewelry.
8) Keep long hair away from massager while in use.
9) Do not operate under a blanket or pillow. Excessive heating can occur and cause
fire, electric shock, or injury to persons.
10) Never operate this appliance if it has a damaged cord or plug, if it is not
working properly, if it has been dropped or damaged, or dropped into water.
Return the appliance to a service center for examination and repair.
11) Do not carry this appliance by the supply cord or use the cord as a handle.
12) Keep the cord away from heated surfaces.
13) Never drop or insert any object into the product.
14) Do not use outdoors.
15) Do not operate where aerosol (spray) products are being used or where oxygen
is being administered.
16) Ensure that your hands are dry when operating the controls or removing the plug.
17) To disconnect, turn all controls to the OFF position, then remove plug from outlet.
18) This appliance is for household use only.
19) Never use while sleeping or drowsy.
20) Keep out of the reach of children.
21) Use heated surface carefully. May cause serious burns. Do not use over
insensitive skin areas or in the presence of poor circulation. The unattended
use of heat by children or incapacitated persons may be dangerous.
22) Burns may result from improper use.
23) Temperatures sufficiently high to cause burns may occur. Do not use on an
infant, individuals with certain disabilities, or on a sleeping or unconscious
person. Check the skin in contact with the heated area of the appliance
frequently to reduce the risk of injury.
24) Do Not Crush – Avoid sharp folds.
SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
The Heat Shiatsu Massager has been designed for ease of operation. When fully
charged, it can work for at least 1 hour without external power supply.
BATTERY OPERATION
The rechargeable battery allows you to enjoy a relaxing massage whenever you need it.
1) For cordless operation, you need to charge the internal lithium ion battery.
2) C onnect the wall plug of the included adapter with a 120V wall outlet and connect
the other end of the adapter cord to the supply cord of the massager.
3) Charge the massager for 5 hours maximum.
4) When fully charged, the massager will run in cordless mode for at least 1 hour.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
1) Place massager around neck.
2) Buckle the strap to hold the massager in place and adjust the strap until massager
fits comfortably.
3) Select desired massage with the easy-to-use control panel.
4. Use the button to turn the unit on. Shiatsu massage, vibration massage and heatON/OFF
can all be used individually or in any combination, by pressing the respective but tons.
5) Press the shiatsu button for kneading massage. Note that after 1 minute, the kneading
shiatsu nodes will reverse direction automatically.
6) Or, you can press the vibration button for a vibrating massage. Pushing the button again
will change the intensity level of the vibration massage. There are 3 intensity levels.
7) The heat button provides soothing heat that may help with aches and pains, and provide
tension relief.
8) Try combining the massage modes with heat to see what feels best to you. What feels
good may change from day to day.
9) Your massager is equipped with a battery-saving auto-of f feature: It will automatically turn
off after 10 minutes of use. If you prefer a longer massage, simply turn the unit back on.
CAUTION
1) C onsult your doctor before using in case of illness or medical condition, including
but not limited to pacemaker use, pregnancy, cancer, infection, fracture, or
persistent pain.
2) Do not use on any unexplained pain or swollen muscles, or following a serious injury,
before consulting your physician.
3) Do not use if you have any of the following conditions: Diabetes, tuberculosis, benign or
malignant tumors, phlebitis or thrombosis, hemorrhages, open or fresh wounds, ulcerated
sores, varicose veins, poor circulation or bruised, discolored, burned, broken, swollen, or
inflamed skin or heat sensitivity.
4) This product should not be used by any individual suffering from a condition that limits or
altogether inhibits the user’s capacity to feel or have sensation in any part of the body.
5) I f you experience pain in a muscle or joint for a prolonged period of time, discontinue use
and consult your doctor. Persistent pain could be a symptom of a more serious condition.
6) U se of this product should be pleasant and comfortable. Should pain or discomfort result,
discontinue use and consult your physician.
7) CHOKING HAZARD: This is not a toy. It is not to be used as a baby or infant pillow. Do
not open this massager for any reason. If this massager is damaged or opened, discard
immediately, out of the reach of children.

RECHARGEABLE BATTERY REMOVAL INSTRUCTIONS
Rechargeable battery should be disposed of in a location specifically designated
for that purpose so it can be recycled safely and without posing any risk to the
environment. Do not burn or bury this battery.

MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS
1) Store massager in a secure place, away from excessive heat or sharp objects. Do
not handle the massager by any of the electrical cords, and do not wrap the cord
around the unit.
2) To clean the unit, make sure the massager is unplugged. Allow the unit to cool, and
then wipe down with a damp cloth using soap and water only. Do not use strong
chemical cleaners. Do not machine wash.
RECOMMENDED MASSAGING TIMES
Generally, massage should last 15-20 minutes on any one particular part of the body.
Treatment may be applied once or twice daily as desired.
As metabolism varies among individuals, so does their response to massage. You will
soon adjust the time to suit your particular needs and personal comfort. If you have
any doubts regarding treatment, we recommend you consult your physician.
