TROUBLESHOOTING
If your rechargeable shaver does not seem to be
taking a charge, take the following troubleshooting
steps before returning it for repair:
1. Be sure the electrical outlet is working by
plugging in another appliance to test the outlet.
2. Make sure the electrical plug is not connected
to a switch that turns power off when lights are
turned off.
OPERATING
INSTRUCTIONS
BEFORE USE
1. When using the shaver for the first time, charge
continuously for at least hours for a full charge.12
Shaver can be operated for approximate 45
minutes with a full charge.
2. Plug the adapter into any wall outlet (at the
voltage listed on the label affixed to the adapter).
Unplug adapter when not in use.
3. The adapter may become warm while charging.
This is normal.
4. Preserving the batteries: In order to maintain
the optimum capacity of the rechargeable
batteries, the trimmer should be recharged for
12 6 hours approximately every months.
BASIC INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
1. Men whose skin is sensitive or easily irritated
by shaving, or who suffer from a skin allergy,
should test one section on the leg or arm before
using the shaver.
2. Remove the cover and turn on the unit to start
shaving. It is strongly recommended to start
shaving from neck area, which is more sensitive (it
is better to do shaving with cool head in that area).
3. Move the unit very smoothly and slowly against
the direction of your natural hair growth.
4. Do not push the shaver on the skin too hard as
it could cause irritation, make the shaver warm
and prevent a perfect shave.
5. Please note that it takes 2 to 4 weeks for your
skin to adapt to shaver, so please do not change
shaving instrument in this period of time.
NOTE: To switch unit on, press down on safety
lock button and then slide the On/Off switch.
SIDEBURN TRIMMER
On the back of the shaver there is a pop-up
trimmer particularly suited for trimming sideburns
or areas of your beard that you do not wish to
shave completely.
To use the sideburn trimmer:
When the shaver is ready
to operate, pull trimmer
release button downward
to enlarge trimmer.
Switch the shaver on by
sliding the On/Off switch.
TIP: Hold the blades of the sideburn trimmer
at a right angle to the area of skin concerned.
To shorten sideburns, first comb them in the
direction of growth of the hair. Here again you
should hold the blades at a right angle to the
head, so that they touch the skin lightly and cut
the sideburns by moving the shaver down away
from the desired bottom edge of your sideburns.
Switch the shaver off after every use (and
where necessary, unplug it from the outlet).
Press the sideburn trimmer back down to its
original position and clean the shaver.
