Things to consider:
Other wireless equipment using thesame frequency band can
reduce thetransmissionrange.
Therange of all wireless equipment depends on thetype of obstacles
located between thetransmitter and thereceiver (e.g. aconcrete wall
will interfere with thesignal more than aplasterboard wall).
If you experience problems, try thefollowing:
Turn off any other existing wireless equipment to check whether
this is thecause of theproblem.
Reposition thewireless equipment, shorten thedistance between
thetransmitter and thereceiver or reduce thenumber of obstacles
(walls, furniture,etc.) betweenthem.
Installation
Note: Thismotion sensor is designed for indoor useonly.
Themotion sensor should be installed at least 1.2m above groundlevel.
Do not install themotion sensor where it will be exposed to direct sunlight.
Do not install themotion sensor in front of awindow, any kind of
fan or air conditioningunit.
Do not install themotion sensor over or close to any type of heat source.
Operating instructions
Connection
Follow theprocedures below for pairing:
1. Make sure that thereceiver that you are going to use themotion
sensor with is ready to be paired (refer to theuser manual of
thereceiver).
2. Hold in [ Learn ] on themotion sensor for 1 second. Themotion
sensor will now pair with thereceiver.
Operating modes:
Themotion sensor has three operatingmodes:
24hr/10S: Whenaperson enters thedetection zone, themotion
sensor sends anon-signal to thereceiver. Whentheperson
leaves thedetection zone there is adelay of 10 seconds
before themotion sensor sends anoff-signal to thereceiver.
Iffurther motion is detected inside thedetection zone within
the10seconds, anew on-signal will be sent to thereceiver.
24hr/1M: Whenaperson enters thedetection zone, themotion
sensor sends anon-signal to thereceiver. Whentheperson leaves
thedetection zone there is adelay of 1 minute before themotion
sensor sends anoff-signal to thereceiver. Iffurther motion is
detected inside thedetection zone within the1 minute, anew
on-signal will be sent to thereceiver.
30S: Nightmode, on-signals are not sent during daylight.
Whenaperson enters thedetection zone in thedark, themotion
sensor sends anon-signal to thereceiver. Whentheperson
leaves thedetection zone there is adelay of 30 seconds
before themotion sensor sends anoff-signal to thereceiver.
Iffurther motion is detected inside thedetection zone within
the30seconds, anew on-signal will be sent to thereceiver.
Deleting the motion sensor from a receiver
It is not possible to delete (unpair) only themotion sensor from
areceiver. Inorder to delete themotion sensor from areceiver,
all thetransmitters paired with thereceiver must be deleted.
Readtheinstruction manual of thereceiver in question.
Care and maintenance
Clean theproduct by wiping it with adampcloth. Useonly mild
cleaning agents, never solvents or corrosive chemicals.
Remove thebattery and store themotion sensor out of reach of
children if it is not to be used for alongtime.
Changing the battery
1. Remove thecover of thebattery compartment from theback of
themotion sensor.
2. Insert anew battery (1×CR2450). Insert thebattery with the (+)
facing upwards.
3. Refit thebatterycover.
Troubleshooting guide
Themotion
sensor does
notwork.
Check thebattery and replace it if necessary.
Is themotion sensor paired with thereceiver as
describedabove? Trypairing themagain.
Check that thedevice (e.g. light) which is
connected to thereceiver is switched on and
not faulty.
Is themotion sensor too far from thereceiver?
Is thesignal being blocked by furniture or
furnishings?
Responsible disposal
1. Remove theback of themotion
sensor.
2. Fix theback of themotion sensor in
thedesiredplace. Usetheincluded
screws and plugs or another
appropriate fastening method. Before
drilling mounting holes into thewall,
make sure that it is free from hidden
electrical wiring and waterpipes.
Remove theplastic tab to activate
thebattery. Oncethebattery Note:
has been activated it takes about
20seconds for themotion sensor to
fully activate.
