Product description
Saves energy and reduces the risk of fires by shutting off all
connected devices. Connect your computer to the master out-
let and your screen, printer, scanner, etc. to the slave outlets.
Turning on your computer also turns on all devices connected
to the slave outlets.
- The threshold value of the master outlet can be
adjusted, 8-80 W.
- Safety shutters.
- Equipped with 1 master outlet and 5 earthed slave outlets.
- All outlets have built-in surge protection.
- Contains 4 varistors, 2 fuses, and 1 gas discharge tube.
- Two indicator lamps:
Blue - lights when the slave outlets are activated.
Green - lights when surge protection is functioning.
- 240 V / 13 A, max. 3120 W.
Safety
- The product is intended for indoor use only.
- Connected devices must be designed for 240 V AC, 50 Hz.
- If the green LED is unlit the surge protection has been trig-
gered and no longer offers protection. The extension leads
energy saving function is operative and the lead can be
used as normal but without the benefit of surge protection.
- If the blue LED does not come on, make sure that the
connected devices are turned on and that the rated power
is not less than 8 W.
- The device which is connected to the master outlet
should have a power consumption of between 8 and
80 W (or the lead’s automatic control will not work).
- The surge protector will not protect the device NOTE:
from excessively high transient voltage spikes or direct
lightning strikes.
Operation
Devices connected to the slave outlets will turn on when
the master outlet exceeds the threshold set by the adjusting
screw, and turn off when the load falls below the set value.
- Turning OFF OFF your computer also turns all devices
connected to the slave outlets.
- Turning your computer also turns all devices ON ON
connected to the slave outlets.
N.B.
- If you switch the device which is connected to the master
outlet to a device which does not have the same power
rating, you must readjust the threshold setting again accor-
dingly. If both devices have the same power consumption
no adjustment is needed.
Troubleshooting
The green “Protect” – indictor light is not lit:
1. The surge protector is not working. The function may have
been disabled by lightning or overvoltage.
The blue “Slave” – indicator light is not lit after adjusting
the threshold setting. Check:
1. That the device connected to the master outlet is turned on.
2. That the connected device does not have a power con-
sumption of less than 8 W (in these cases the automatic
switch will not work).
