Discharging
Discharging removes thememory effect from thebatteries whichare
not fully discharged and result in adiminished charging capacity.
1. Connect theadaptor to apower point and theDC plug to thecharger.
2. Insert 1 to 4 batteries (R03, R6, R14 or R20) according to thepolarity
markings on thecharger. Pressthem securely against thebottom.
(9 V batteries (6F22) cannot be discharged).
3. Press thedischarge button on left side of thedisplay.
4. “DISCHARGE” is shown and theblue background lightis
illuminated as long as discharging is in progress.
5. Thebattery icons flash as long as discharging isin
progress for any of thebatteries.
6. Charging starts automatically when thebatteries are discharged.
USB connection
1. TheUSB connection can only be used when thebatteries
in charger are fully charged or if thecharge isempty.
2. TheUSB symbol will be lit when thechargers USB
connection is ready touse.
3. Connect theUSB device to be charged to theUSB
outlet on theback of thecharger.
