Time indications
NOTE: If your watch has a screw-down crown,
it must be unscrewed before you can adjust the
settings, then screwed back into the case when
you are done.
Pull the crown out to position , then turn it in B
either direction until the correct date is reached.

An important feature of every self-winding watch
is its power reserve. Before putting your watch
on, you should wind it up manually (20 clockwise
turns of the crown) in order to create an initial
power reserve for its operation.
To retain its power reserve, the watch must be
worn continuously and actively for at least 8 hours
per day. Should you be unable to wear your watch
for the minimum amount of time each day or
should it be left idle for 24 hours at a stretch,
wind it manually as outlined above.
Our technical centers will be glad to answer
any questions you may have about winding your
automatic watch.
Power reserve
If your watch is equipped with a screw-down
crown, it must be unscrewed before you can set
the time or date.
Crown in position A.
If the watch has not been worn for several days,
wind it up manually by carefully turning the crown
clockwise for 20 revolutions.
On ce you have don e so, the movement of
your wrist during normal daily activities will
automatically wind your watch.
Do not forget to screw back the crown.

All EBEL watches are tested to meet international
standards for water resistance. Like all mechanisms,
your watch and its metal bracelet are subject to
wear, especially since your watch runs day after day
without interruption. It is therefore important to care
for your watch properly, and, in particular, to protect
it rigorously against moisture and dust.
The water resistance of your EBEL wristwatch
has been tested under conditions corresponding
to submersion in water to the depth engraved on
the case-back. We recommend that you routinely
rinse your watch and its metal bracelet carefully with
fresh water and clean them with a soft brush and
liquid soap. Such steps, if carried out regularly, will
help preserve the watch and prevent it from getting
clogged with dust and sweat, especially after being
worn in a pool or the sea, or while you are engaged
in a sport that involves exposure to dust or sand.
Your EBEL watch can be worn safely in the shower,
while swimming or during aquatic sports, but it must
never be used as a diving watch. Do not operate the
watch crown, the push-buttons on a chronograph
model, or any other pushers/buttons when the
timepiece is wet or under water.
The exposure of a timepiece to strong magnetic
fields will affect its time-keeping, and may cause
it to stop. A quartz watch should resume working
with its original accuracy when removed from the
magnetic field; a mechanical timepiece may require
demagnetization before it will operate again. If this
happens, take the watch to an EBEL dealer.
The EBEL brand will not be responsible for
any damage caused by or related to leakage
originating from improper handling or damage to
the case, crown, gaskets or crystal.
To ensure a watch’s water-resistant integrit y,
yearly maintenance is required. The gaskets and
crown which seal the case are subject to wear
and deterioration under normal use. These parts
should be inspected and replaced as needed each
time the watch is opened for service, including
battery changes.

Finally, any operation carried out by an authorized
EBEL service center is automatically covered by
a 12-month warranty, even if the 3-year warranty
has expired.

CARE AND WARRANTY
Except for leather straps, all EBEL watches are
covered by an international warranty against any
manufacturing defect, that will be honored by all
EBEL official service centers. The EBEL warranty
is valid for a period of three years from the date of
purchase of the watch from the authorized retailer.
For quartz watches, the battery is covered by the
warranty for two years from the date of purchase
only. Beyond these years of warranty, the cost of
replacement of the battery at an official EBEL
service center shall be borne by the consumer.
Such a service includes: control of the movement;
bat te r y repl ace ment ; wa tch- ca se ga sket s
replacement and water-resistance test.
This international warranty shall only be valid if
the watch has b een purchase d from a retailer
approved by EBEL or its distributors, whose name,
address and signature must appear on the front
of the warranty card together with the date of
purchase, the model of the watch and its serial
number.
This warranty card must be presented together
with the watch to an official EBEL service center
or dealer for all in-warranty servicing. Any work
performed on an EBEL watch by an unauthorized
person or entity, or any alteration to the serial
number engraved on the watch, shall automatically
render this international warranty null and void.

CUIDADOS Y GARANTÍA
Finalmente, cualquier intervención realizada por
un centro de servicio autorizado EBEL estará
cubierta por una garantía de 12 meses, incluso
aunque la garantía de tres años haya expirado.
Garantía
Exce pto e n el caso de las correas de pie l,
todos los relojes EBEL están cubiertos por una
garantía internacional contra cualquier defecto
de fabricación que será otorgada por todos los
centros de servicio EBEL oficiales. La garantía
de EBEL será válida durante un periodo de 3
años a partir de la fecha de adquisición del reloj
al minorista autorizado.
En el caso de los relojes de cuarzo, la pila está
cubierta por la garant ía únicamente durante
dos años a partir de la fecha de adquisición.
Transcurridos estos dos años de garantía, el coste

EBEL oficial correrá a cargo del consumidor.

la parte delantera de la tarjeta de garantía junto
con la fecha de adquisición, el modelo del reloj y
su número de serie.
Esta tarjeta de garantía deberá presentarse junto
con el reloj a un representante o en un centro
de servicio EBEL oficial para llevar a cabo las
tareas de mantenimiento incluidas en la garantía.
Cualquier trabajo realizado en un reloj EBEL por
parte de una persona o entidad no autorizada, así
como cualquier alteración en el número de serie
grabado en el reloj, anulará de forma automática
esta garantía internacional.

Una caratteristica importante di un orologio a
carica automatica è la sua riserva di carica. Prima
di indossare l'orologio, è opportuno caricarlo
manualmente (20 giri della corona in senso orario)
al fine di creare una riserva di carica iniziale per il
suo funzionamento.
Per mantenere la sua riserva di carica, l'orologio
deve essere indossato continuamente e in modo
attivo almeno 8 ore al giorno. Qualora l'orologio
non potesse essere indossato ogni giorno per
il periodo di tempo minimo richiesto o dovesse
essere lasciato inattivo per 24 ore di seguito,
caricarlo manualmente come indicato sopra.
I nostri centri di assistenza tecnica saranno lieti
di rispondere a qualsiasi domanda sulla carica di
un orologio automatico.
Riserva di carica
Se l'orologio è dotato di corona avvitata, occorrerà
svitarla prima di poter procedere alla regolazione
dell'ora e della data.

Se l'orologio non è stato indossato per diversi
giorni, caricarlo manualmente girando la corona
con cautela in senso orario per venti volte.
Dopo aver e segu ito quest a opera zi one, il
movimento del polso durante le normali attività

Важным свойст вом часов с авто матическим
заводом является запас хода. Перед тем, как
надеть часы, заведите их вручную (20 поворотов
заводной головки по часовой стрелке), чтобы
механизм получил первоначальный запас хода.
Для поддержания запаса хода часов носите их,
по меньшей мере, 8 часов ежедневно. В случае,
если Вы не носите часы достаточное количество
времени или если часы находятся без движения
в течение 24 часов подряд, заведите их вручную
как указано выше.

обслуживания будут рады ответ ить на любые
вопросы относительно завода автоматических
часов.
Запас хода
Если Ваши часы снабжены завинчивающейся
за в о д н о й г о л о в к о й , о тв и н тите ее п е р е д
настройкой времени или даты.
Заводная головка в положении A.
Если Вы не носили часы в течение нескольких
дней, заведите их вручную, сделав 20 плавных
поворотов заводной головки.
После этого часы будут заводиться автоматически
за счет естественных движений запястья во время
их ношения.
Не забудьте завинтить заводную головку.

(секундная стрелка остановится).
2 Вращая заводную коронку, установите точное
время.
3* Верните заводную коронку в положение A.

Примечание: Чтоб ы установить время с
точностью до секунды, вытяните заводную
коронку в положение C в момент, когда секундная
стрелка будет у отметки «60».
Верните заводн ую коронку в положение A
одновременно с сигналом точного времени.

1 Вытяните заводную коронку в положение B
(часы продолжают идти).
2 Поворачивайте заводную коронку до тех пор,
пока в окошке указателя даты не появится
требуемое значение.
3 Верните заводную коронку в положение A.
* Замечание
: Не устанавливайте дату в период с
21:00 до 24:00 часов (время работы механизма смены
даты).

Водостойкость всех часов марки EBEL проверяется
на соответствие международным нормам. Как любой
механизм, Ваши часы и их металлический браслет
подвержены износу, особенно, при ежедневном
ношении. Поэтому так важно тщательно ухаживать
за часами и защищать их от влаги и пыли.
Водостойкость наручных часов EBEL проверялась
на глубине, указанной с помощью гравировки
на задней крышке часов. Мы рекомендуем Вам
рег улярно т щательно опол аскивать часы и
металлический браслет пресной водой, чистить
их м ягкой щеткой и жи дким мы лом. Ес ли Вы
будете регулярно выполнять процедуру очистки,
то поможете часам надолго сохранить рабочее
состояние и предотвратите попадание вн утрь
пыли и грязи, а так же запотевание, особенно
после купания в бассейне, море или после занятий
спортом. Ваши часы EBEL могут использоваться без
риска повреждения механизма при принятии душа,
купании и занятиях водными видами спорта, но ни в
коем случае не подходят для подводного плавания.
Никогда не совершайте операций с заводной
головкой, кнопками хронографа и любыми другими
коррекционными кнопками, когда часы влажные или
находятся под водой.
Воздействие сильного магнитного поля может
повлиять на работу часов и привести к их остановке.
После прекращения воздействия магнитного поля
кварцевые часы должны возобновить работу с
первоначальной точностью; для функционирования
меха нич еск их час ов може т по тре боват ь ся
размагничивание. Если это произошло, обратитесь
к официальному представителю компании EBEL.

полученное вследствие ненадлежащего ухода
или неправильного обращения, приведшего к
разгермет изации или повреждению корпуса,
заводной головки, прокладок или часового стекла.

часов реком ендуетс я раз в год провод ить
их техническое обслуживание. В результате
эксплуатации часов прокладки и заводная коронка,
которые обеспечивают герметичность корпуса,
подвергаются износу. Поэтому эти части механизма,
а также элемент питания, должны проверяться и
заменяться по мере необходимости каждый раз,
когда проводится обслуживание часов.
В уполно моченном серв исном цент ре EBEL
специалисты в обязательном порядке проверят
Ваши часы на водостойкость. Это ст андартная
операция во время технического обслуживания

Гарантия
На все часы EBEL (исключая кожаные ремешки)
распространяется международная гаранти я
на любые производственные дефекты, которая
признается всеми официальными сервисными
центрами EBEL. Гарантия EBEL действует в течение
трех лет с момента покупки часов у официального
розничного продавца компании.
Гарант ия на элемент питания кварцевых часов
составляет два года с момента приобретения
часов. По истечении гарантийного срока расходы
по замене элемента п итания в официа льном
сервисно м цент р е EBEL несет по к упатель .
Данная услуга включает в себя проверку часового
механизма, замену элемента питания, замену
уплотнительных прок ладок корпуса ч асов и
проверку его водостойкости.
Данная международная гарантия действительна
т оль к о при усл овии при о бр ет е ния ч асов
в о ф и ц и а л ь н о м м а г а з и н е к о мп а н и и и л и
у о фи ц и а л ь н о г о д и л е ра к о м п а н ии EB EL ,
н аи м е н о в ан и е , ад ре с и ш т а мп к о т о р ог о
проставлены на лицевой стороне гарантийной
карты наряду с указанием даты покупки, модели
часов и их серийного номера.

Ко всем часам EBEL пр илагается инс трукция
по эксплуатации с изложением рекомендаций
по у ходу и обс л уж иванию, которые сле дует
соблюдать. Данная ме ждународная гарантия
н е р а с п р о с т р а н я е т с я н а п о в р е ж д е н и я ,
вызванные неправильным использованием или
ненадлежащим уходом за часами.
Положения данной международной гарантии ни
в коей мере не ограничивают и не затрагивают
п ра ва , к о т ор ы ми о бл а д а е т п ок уп а т е л ь в
