SICHERHEITSHINWEISE

TWIST

ist ein magnet-mechanisches Kopplungssystem aus

(Abb. A) und

connector

(Abb. C). Die Nutzung darf ausschließlich

in Verbindung mit

TWIST

-Originalprodukten erfolgen. Die mag-

net-mechanische Einrastung kann sonst nicht erfolgen.

Achtung: Nicht für Downhill geeignet (Geländeabfahrten mit

über 60 km/h)!

Die

TWIST bottle 600

ist ausschließlich für stilles Wasser geeignet!

Keine kohlensäurehaltigen Getränke, Säfte o.ä. verwenden!

Die

TWIST bottle 600

ist ohne Halterung bis zu 50 °C spülma-

schinengeeignet und nicht mikrowellengeeignet!

Legen Sie das Produkt nicht in den Gefrierschrank!

Prüfen Sie vor jeder Benutzung, ob die Flasche richtig einge-

rastet und die

bike base

frei von Verschmutzungen ist! Sollten

Mängel gleich welcher Art auftreten, stellen Sie die Benutzung

umgehend ein und kontaktieren Sie ihren Fachhändler!

MONTAGE

Die Montage erfolgt an den herstellerseitig vorgesehenen Ge-

windebuchsen der (Standardschnittstelle BCM 64) an Unter-

oder Sattelrohr des Fahrradrahmens (Abb. E).

Achten Sie bei der Montage darauf, dass die Pfeile und die

Markierung „up“ nach oben zeigen (Abb. B). Für die zuverlässige

Befestigung der

bike base

am Fahrrad ist ein Schraubenan-

zugsdrehmoment von 2 Newtonmeter (Nm) erforderlich!

Hinweis: Verwenden Sie nur die mitgelieferten Schrauben!

Schrauben mit einem höheren Kopf führen dazu, dass das

TWIST module

nicht fest mit dem Rahmen verbunden ist und

sich während der Fahrt lösen wird (Abb. F)!

Wenn sie sich bei der Montage unsicher sind, bitten Sie ihren

Fachhändler um Rat.

LÖSEN DES

CONNECTORS

Zum Lösen der Flasche vom

connector

drehen Sie den Riegel

mit einer Münze/Inbus gegen den Uhrzeigersinn, so dass die

Markierung auf Position „open“ steht; umgekehrt bei der Ver-

bindung bis „close“ (Abb. D). Nehmen Sie das Metallband ab

und montieren Sie es wieder mit Hilfe eines Inbusschlüssels.

BENUTZUNG

Spülen Sie die Wasserasche vor dem ersten Gebrauch sorg-

fältig mit klarem Wasser aus!

Machen Sie sich vor Fahrtantritt mit der Handhabung von

TWIST

vertraut und überprüfen Sie dessen einwandfreie Funk-

tion. Vergewissern Sie sich, dass die Montage ordnungsge-

mäß erfolgt ist.

Um das

TWIST module

mit dem Fahrrad zu verbinden führen

Sie den

connector

an die

base

TWIST

ndet von selbst Halt

(Abb. G). Lassen Sie das

TWIST module

dann auf die

base

schnappen. Sie hören das „Klick-Geräusch“ des mechani-

schen Einrastens (Abb. H).

Zum Lösen des

TWIST module

drehen Sie es im Uhrzeigersinn,

bis sowohl Magnete als auch Rastung gelöst sind (Abb. I).

BESTIMMUNGSGEMÄSSE VERWENDUNG

TWIST bottle 600

) ist für die Montage und

Nutzung am Fahrradrahmen vorgesehen. Jede von der be-

stimmungsgemäßen Verwendung abweichende Benutzung

gilt als bestimmungswidrig und ist untersagt, da es ansons-

ten zu Fehlfunktionen, Beschädigungen oder Verletzungen

führen kann.

SAFETY INFORMATION

TWIST

is a magnetic-mechanical coupling system consisting

of a

base

(Fig. A) and

connector

(Fig. C). It is only to be used in

conjunction with genuine

TWIST

products. The magnetic-me-

chanical coupling will not work otherwise.

Warning: Not suitable for downhill use (off-road riding at

over 60 km/h)!

The

TWIST bottle 600

is only suitable for still water! Do not use

with carbonated drinks, juices or other beverages!

The

WIST Bottle 600

without the bracket is dishwasher safe

to 50 °C, but not microwave safe!

Do not put the product in the freezer!

Check before every use that the bottle is correctly locked in

place and the

bike base

is free from dirt. If a defect of any kind

should become evident, stop using the product immediately

and contact your FIDLOCK dealer!

INSTALLATION

The product is installed using the threaded inserts provid-

ed by the manufacturer (Standard Interface BCM 64) on the

down tube or the seat tube of the bicycle frame (Fig. E).

During installation, ensure that the arrows and “up” markings

point upwards (Fig. B). A tightening torque of 2 newton metres

(Nm) is necessary for the secure attachment of the

bike base

to the bicycle.

Note: Use only the screws provided! Screws with a higher

head will prevent secure attachment of the

TWIST module

to the frame, which could result in it becoming loose whilst

riding (Fig. F)!

If you are unsure about the installation of the product, consult

your FIDLOCK dealer for advice.

RELEASING THE

CONNECTOR

To release the bottle from the

connector

, turn the latch anti-

clockwise with a coin or Allen key so that the mark is in the

“open” position; conversely, to connect the bottle, turn the

latch to “close” (Fig. D).

Remove the metal strap and reinstall it

using an Allen wrench.

USAGE

Clean the water bottle thoroughly with clean water before the

rst use.

Before setting out, familiarize yourself with the operation of

TWIST

and check that it is working properly. Make sure that the

product has been installed correctly.

To attach the

TWIST module

to the bicycle, hold the

connector

the

base

TWIST

will grip automatically (Fig. G). Allow the

TWIST

module

to snap into place in the

base

. You will hear a “click” as

the mechanism locks into place (Fig. H).

To release the

TWIST module

, turn it in a clockwise direction until

both the magnets and the latch are disengaged (Fig. I).

INTENDED USE

TWIST bottle 600

) is designed for installa-

tion and use on bicycle frames. Any use other than the intended

use is considered improper use and should be avoided, as it

can lead to malfunction, damage or injury.

DISPOSAL

) can be disposed of with

household waste. Please observe the relevant environmental

regulations regarding waste disposal in your country.

Attention: ne convient pas pour la descente (descentes de

est lavable au lave-vaisselle sans sup-

port jusqu’à 50 °C et ne convient pas pour un usage au four

Avant chaque utilisation, vériez si le bidon est correctement

mis en place et si le

bike base

est propre. Si vous constatez des

défauts de quelque nature que ce soit, arrêtez immédiatement

INSTALLATION

L’installation se fait au niveau des douilles letées prévues par

le fabricant (interface standard BCM 64) sur le tube diagonal ou

le tube de selle du cadre de vélo (Illustration E).

Veillez, lors de l’installation, à ce que les èches et le marquage

« up » soient dirigés vers le haut (Illustration B). Un couple de

serrage des vis de 2 Newton-mètres (Nm) est nécessaire pour

garantir la xation able du

bike base

de cadre au vélo.

Remarque:

n’utilisez que les vis fournies. Si les vis sont plus

longues, il est possible que le

TWIST module

ne soit pas

correctement xé au cadre et se déloge pendant le trajet

(Illustration F).

En cas d’incertitude lors de l’installation, demandez conseil à

votre commerçant spécialisé.

RETRAIT DU

CONNECTOR

Pour retirer le bidon du

connector

, tournez le verrou à l’aide

d’une pièce/clé Allen dans le sens antihoraire, de façon à ce

que le marquage soit en position «ouvert», et inversement lors

du raccordement jusqu’à la position «fermé» (Illustration D). Re-

tirez le collier métallique et réinstallez-le à l'aide d'une clé Allen.

UTILISATION

Avant la première utilisation, rincez soigneusement le bidon à

l’eau claire.

Avant votre départ, familiarisez-vous avec l’utilisation du sys-

tème

TWIST

et vériez s’il fonctionne parfaitement. Assurez-vous

que l’installation a été effectuée correctement.

Pour xer le

TWIST module

au vélo, dirigez le

connector

vers le

base

TWIST

se xe automatiquement (Illustration G). Laissez en-

suite le

TWIST module

s’enclencher sur le

base

. Vous entendrez le

«clic» de l’enclenchement mécanique (Illustration H).

Pour retirer le

TWIST module

, tournez-le dans le sens antihoraire

jusqu’à ce que les aimants et le dispositif de verrouillage soient

retirés (Illustration I).
