3. Balanced 4.4mm analogue output
This is an analogue output via 4.4mm > XLR or other balanced
interconnects. You cou ld use this for an active speaker or an
amplifier.
Tip: A s the ZEN DAC Sig na ture V2 is b alanced, t his i s th e recommended o utput.
4. Variable/Fixed switch
This switch will determine whether or not the ZEN DAC Signature
V2 analogue volume control is used.
5. RCA analogue output
This is an analogue output.

The DAC Signature V2 is a balanced USB-audio DAC amplifie r.
1. Analogue Volume control
The analogue volume control in the ZEN DAC Signature V2 is
superior to any digital volume contro l. It can be used to control
the headphone volume or the pre-amplifier volume (when set
to 'Variable'). If the output at the rear is se t to 'Fixed' the volume
control is bypassed.
2. Audio Format LED (kHz)
The LED colour scheme indicates the audio format and
sampling frequency received by the ZEN DAC Signature V2
from the music so urce.

6. USB-audio and power input
This is a USB input. It connects the ZEN DAC Signature V2 to
the computer audio so urce and prov ides the pow er supply.
