Thank you for purchasing the Lenmar ChugPlug external laptop battery for Apple MacBook Air and Apple MacBook Pro 13-inch computers. You’re
free now; no longer tethered to your desk by a power cable; no longer powerless; no longer vulnerable to battery drain. With the Lenmar
ChugPlug in tow, you and your MacBook are primed to roam a world littered with dead and dying laptops, their owners frantically scrambling for

Lenmar product is warranted to be free of defective parts and workmanship for stated period from the original date of purchase when sold
through our website or our authorized retailers. Warranties are not transferable. The warranty excludes damage resulting from accident, misuse,
modication, delay or loss of use, damage to equipment or by normal wear and tear.

Warranty claims made after 60 days from the original date of purchase, will require a processing fee. Details will be included while completing the
online warranty request. Payment can be made via credit card when completing the warranty form or a check can be included with the package
when it is returned to Lenmar. Once the request is completed, you will be emailed with a conrmation WRA number and instructions on how to
return the item for warranty replacement.

Safety & Precautions
BEFORE USING THIS PRODUCT, PLEASE READ THE INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY
• Do not use the ChugPlug with any adapter other than Apple Magsafe adapter.
• Keep the ChugPlug away from ammable and heat-sensitive materials, fumes, gasses, brimstone, and nuclear waste.
• Avoid placing the ChugPlug in direct sunlight for prolonged periods of time.
• Do not store the ChugPlug at temperatures above 60°C (140°F) or below -20°C (-4°F) or in locations where the Relative Humidity exceeds 90%.
• Do not place items that restrict airow on or around the ChugPlug while in use.
• Ensure that the ChugPlug has proper ventilation while in use to maintain operation at a safe temperature.
• Keep the ChugPlug dry at all times. If the ChugPlug gets wet while in use, immediately disconnect the ChugPlug from your MacBook’s power
adapter and turn the ChugPlug o. Do not attempt to use the device again until you have veried that it is completely dry and in working order.
• Do not attempt to open the ChugPlug’s casing; there are no user serviceable parts. This will void the warranty.
LED 1 ashing green - indicates < 20% charge remaining.
LED 1 solid green - indicates 20% to 40% charge remaining.
LED 2 solid green - indicates 41% to 95% charge remaining.
LED 3 solid green - indicates full charge remaining.
LED 4 solid orange – indicates power on/o.
LED 1, 2, and 3 will illuminate green when the ChugPlug is powered on. The LEDs will stay lit for 10 seconds after the power button is depressed.
To check the remaining capacity of the ChugPlug, depress the power button for less than 3 seconds. The green LEDs will illuminate, displaying the
remaining battery capacity.
LED 4 will illuminate orange when the ChugPlug is connected to an AC power supply and when it is charging a MacBook. This LED will turn o when
the ChugPlug is out of power or if the AC Power Supply is disconnected.
Turn the ChugPlug On and O by depressing the power
button continuously for 3 seconds (Pic. 1). When the ChugPlug
is turned on, the orange LED will illuminate (LED 4).
For better battery life turn the ChugPlug o when not in use.
When the ChugPlug is charging, the unit will remain on.

A. Remove the two-prong adapter tip from the MagSafe Power Adapter (Pic. 8).
B. Attach the Apple AC power cord to the ChugPlug (Pic. 9).
C. Align the circular metal post on the MagSafe Power adapter with the plastic
grooves on the corresponding piece of the ChugPlug (the piece with the two plastic
barrels pointing down)(Pic. 10).
D. Connect the ChugPlug to the MagSafe Power Adapter by inserting the two plastic
barrels of the ChugPlug into the similarly shaped receptacle on the MagSafe Power
Adapter. Connect the magnetic DC connector to the MacBook (Pic. 11).
E. Plug the Apple AC Power Cord into an AC outlet (Pic. 11). The orange
LED will illuminate as soon as the ChugPlug begins charging and
will remain on until the ChugPlug is unplugged from the AC power
supply and turned o. The remaining LEDs will illuminate green as
the ChugPlug reaches capacity. Once the 3rd LED is illuminated,
the ChugPlug has nished charging.

Charging the ChugPlug
To charge the ChugPlug, use the original MagSafe Power Adapter and AC Power Cord, that comes with your MacBook.
There are two ways to charge the ChugPlug:
A. Remove the Apple AC Power Cord from the MagSafe Power Adapter (Pic. 5).
B. Attach the Apple AC Power Cord to the ChugPlug (Pic. 6).
C. Plug the AC Power Cord it into an AC outlet. Must use the 3-prong grounded
power cord (Pic. 7).
D. The orange LED will illuminate as soon as the ChugPlug begins charging and will
remain on until the ChugPlug is unplugged from the AC power supply and turned
o. The remaining LEDs will illuminate green as the ChugPlug reaches capacity.
After the 3rd LED illuminates, the ChugPlug has nished charging.
E. When the ChugPlug is fully charged, unplug it from the AC power supply.

A. Remove the two-prong adapter tip from the MagSafe Power Adapter (Pic. 2).
B. Align the circular metal post on the MagSafe Power adapter with the plastic
grooves on the corresponding piece of the ChugPlug (the piece with the two
plastic barrels pointing down). (Pic. 3).
C. Connect the ChugPlug to the Apple AC adapter by inserting the two plastic
barrels of the ChugPlug into the similarly shaped receptacle on the Apple AC
adapter. Connect the magnetic DC connector to the MacBook (Pic. 4).
D. Once connected, press and hold the ChugPlug power button for 3 seconds,
the orange LED will illuminate indicating that the power is on.
The LEDs to the left of the power button will illuminate, indicating the
percentage of charge remaining in the battery (Note that after 10 seconds, the
three charge indicating LEDs will turn off to conserve battery power)
E. To turn the ChugPlug o, depress the power button for 3 seconds.
The orange LED will indicate power o.
Note: If the ChugPlug is plugged into an AC power source while it is plugged into the MacBook, the ChugPlug will automatically be on. The
ChugPlug will share power between the MacBook and the ChugPlug, powering and recharging the internal battery rst. Once the internal
MacBook battery is completely recharged, the ChugPlug will fully recharge.

The unit has an auto shut off function for temperatures exceeding 65°C/149°F. The ChugPlug will reset once the temperature is below the
threshold. The protective circuitry maintains the battery within its normal operating range for charging and discharging through the life of
battery. If normal limits are exceeded, the protection circuit shall limit the charging or discharging current to prevent excursions beyond normal
operating limits. The ChugPlug meets the requirement for ETL testing and UL 60950.
