Thank you for purchasing this product. This is a 5.3KHz heart rate chest belt
which is used to monitor heart rate and obtain heart rate data via the two
electrodes on it. This product communicates with the receiver at 5.3KHz, and
can transmit heart rate data to your heart rate receiving device (such as a 5.3K
watch or a 5.3K receiving module on a treadmill) to display the current heart rate
in real-time. IPX7 waterproof means that sweat is effectively prevented from
penetrating into the device during exercise. Please read this manual thoroughly
and keep it in a safe place.
IMPORTANT: This product is for sports purposes only and is it not for medical
use.
(Patients with cardiac pacing or other implantable devices should consult their
doctors for recommendations)

Use
Important note: When the transmitter of the heart rate chest belt is not worn, it will turn
off, go into sleep mode, and stop searching for wireless connections. As soon as the
heart rate chest belt is worn correctly, it will start automatically again.
1. Moisten the electrode areas on the reverse side of the transmitter.
2. Insert the round clasps on the chest belt into the slots on each side of the main
device and ensure that both clasps are securely fastened.
3. The transmitter on the chest belt must
be located directly below your chest
muscles and must have the MAXXUS logo
facing outwards. The chest belt should
sit comfortably but not be too loose. The
electrodes must have permanent and
direct skin contact. If the belt is too loose
this will not be the case.
Caring for your device
This device is a high-tech instrument that should be handled with care. Follow the
care instructions to ensure reliable monitoring and to maximize the life span of
the heart rate transmitter.
Heart rate transmitter
Separate the transmitter from the chest belt after each use and wipe it clean with
a soft towel. Do not use chemical cleaners.
Chest belt
Rinse the belt under running water after each use and hang it up to dry. Never
wash the belt in a washing machine or put it in a tumble dryer.
Never use cleaning chemicals.
(Cleaning chemicals may cause fast aging and shorten service life).
Do not over-stretch the belt or over-bend it in the electrode areas.
Do not store the heart rate transmitter when damp in any non-breathable
material. Dry and store the belt and connectors.
Batteries
This device requires a CR2032 battery which is already installed in the heart rate
transmitter. The battery life is 700 hours.
Battery replacement
A. To open the battery cover, insert a coin into the groove and
turn it in anti-clockwise direction as indicated by the arrow
” .
B. Press on the battery to take it out of the battery compartment.
C. Place a new battery into the battery compartment with the “-” pole facing down
and the “+” pole facing up.
D. Align the “▲ ●” mark on the battery cover with the “ ” on the left side of the
main unit and replace the cover. Insert a coin into the groove on the cover and
turn it clockwise to align the “▲ ●” with the main casing “ ”. Please
dispose of the old battery according to your local regulations.

Consumers are legally obliged to take used batteries to a suitable collection point
a local retailer or local authority. You can use this service free of charge. Alterna-
tively, you can return your used batteries to one of our stores. If you wish to return
them by post, they must be stamped with sufcient postage.
Used batteries may contain pollutants or heavy metals that can be harmful to
the environment and health. In addition, batteries contain valuable raw materials
which can be recycled.
The symbols shown on the batteries have the following meaning:
