ATTACHING & REMOVING SAFETY TIPS IS EASY
1. Prep the skin by thoroughly cleansing
the treatment area, preferably with
an oil-free cleanser. Rinse clean and
pat dry.
2. Select the desired speed setting; low,
medium or high speed by pressing
the power button. Pressing the
power button a 4th time will shut the
device off. Safety Tips are single use,
dispose after each use.
3. Position the Sonicsmooth at a 45°
angle against the skin using light
pressure. Allow the sonic technology
to do the work and hold skin taut
with free hand to prevent injury.
1. Attach the included USB Charging Cable into a USB port and
connect to a 110v wall adapter. Place Sonicsmooth in the
Charging Cradle with the Power Button facing forward. The
Michael Todd Beauty logo on the Charging Cradle and the
Power Button should be facing the same direction.
2. Before your rst use, charge the device for 12 hours.
Sonicsmooth will run for 3 continuous hours before needing
a charge. After initial charge allow 8-10 hours for subsequent
charges. DO NOT overcharge which can shorten battery life.
Disconnect the USB Cord from the power source when not
charging. DO NOT charge Sonicsmooth for more than 24
continuous hours.
3. Charge Indicator.
• Green = Good Charge
• Red = Low Charge
• Flashing Red = Very Low Charge
Always handle the device OFF when not in use and use the cartridge
case to attach and remove a new safety tip. To attach a new safety
tip, slide the device handle along the tracks of a new safety tip until it
“clicks” into place. To remove the safety tip from the handle, insert the
tip into the cartridge case until you hear a “click” and slide the device
away from the box. Never use your hands or ngers to remove the
tip. You may use the edge of a table to help slide the safety tip off if
needed. Safety Tips are nickel free.
CAUTION: Safety Tips are sharp, handle with care.
1. Use Sonicsmooth following
the direction of the hair
growth, never against
it. Downward strokes
are recommended when
dermaplaning. Hold the skin
taut with the free hand for
best results. The skin may
appear pink or slightly red
after treatment, this will
disappear after a couple
of hours. For this reason,
we recommend using
Sonicsmooth at night.
2. Areas to Sonicsmooth include the entire face and neck. Avoid
any raised imperfections, the eye socket, nose and lips.

4. Starting at the top of your face
near the forehead hairline, begin
making short feathery strokes
following the direction of the hair
growth. You may gently glide
over skin in a treatment area 1-3
times using the safety tip at a 45°
angle. We DO NOT recommend
using Sonicsmooth over raised
imperfections (including acne) the
eyelid, directly on the nose or on
the lips.
5. After treatment, you may
use serums or moisturizers.
DO NOT use scrubs, exfoliators
or peels.
WARNING: Sonicsmooth is not intended to be used over active acne, open
wounds, irritations, sunburns, psoriasis or recently treated areas with lasers
or radiation. KEEP CHARGING DOCK AWAY FROM WATER AT ALL TIMES.
