Quick Start Guide
Notable icons and notifications displayed on the topmost part of the
screen.
Insert SIM card, install battery, restore the battery cover, and press the
End key/power key for a few seconds to turn on your phone.
Press the End key/power key for a few seconds to turn off your phone.
Enter a complete phone number and then press the call key to dial
a call. You can also dial a call from call logs or messages.
When a new message is received, your phone will alert
according to your settings and the message unread icon will be
displayed. Press OK key to read it..
You can view the latest calls by pressing the Call key during
standby mode..

detergents to clean the device. Only use a soft, clean, dry cloth to
clean the surface of the device.

to come in contact with magnetic fields for extended period of time.
□Use manufacturer approved batteries, chargers, accessories and
supplies. Micromax will not be held responsible for user's safety
when using unapproved accessories or supplies.
During Flight
□Flight is influenced by interference caused by the phone. It is
illegal to use a phone on the airplane. Please tur n off your phone
during a flight.

□ Your Phone's radio waves may interfere with the function of
inadequately shielded medical devices. Consult a physician or
he manufacturer of the medical device to determine whether t
they are adequately shielded from external RF energy. Switch off
your device when regulations posted instruct you to do so.
□To avoid potential interference with implanted medical devices
such as a pacemaker or cardioverter defibrillator:
□ Always keep your phone at least 15.3 centimetres (6 inches) from

2. Can I secure Privacy for messages, phonebook and call logs?
a. Go to and Menu> Settings> Security Settings Enter 0000.

execute the choice.
Each time you access the protected feature such as messages,
phonebook and call logs, you will be asked for the password.
Note: You can also change the default password by going to Settings>
Security Settings> Change Password. The new password will be

Yes. The default security code to unlock the phone is 0000. To change the
security code:
a Go to .Settings > Security settings and Enter 0000. Then go to Phone
Lock and enable it.

Go to Settings > Security settings > Set PIN
Yes, the mobile phone allows you to lock your SIM(s) from
unauthorized use
Each you switch on the mobile with the SIM, you need to provide
the SIM access code you had set, thus preventing unauthorized
use. The default password to use this feature is 0000 (You can
change this as required)
