Im Display 15 werden folgende Informa-
tionen angezeigt:
• Das TALK-Symbol ist nur
sichtbar, wenn die
Funktion Talk-Back aktiviert ist (siehe
„6.7 Talk-Back Funktion“ auf Seite 17).
• Das Notensymbol ist nur
sichtbar, wenn die Schlaflieder
über die Elterneinheit (siehe
„6.8 Schlaflieder“ auf Seite 18)
oder die Babyeinheit (siehe
„5.3 Schlaflieder“ auf Seite 14) aktiviert
wurden.
• Das Glühbirnensymbol ist nur
sichtbar, wenn das Nachtlicht
über die Elterneinheit (siehe
„6.9 Nachtlicht“ auf Seite 19) oder
die Babyeinheit (siehe „5.4 Nachtlicht“
auf Seite 14) aktiviert wurde.
• Das Batteriesymbol wird ebenfalls
dauerhaft angezeigt und zeigt den
Akku-Stand an (siehe
„4.4 Stromversorgung“ auf Seite 11).
• Am Lautsprecher-
symbol können Sie
ständig erkennen,
wie laut Ihr Gerät eingestellt ist (siehe
„6.4 Lautstärke einstellen” auf Seite 16 und
„6.5 Stummschaltung” auf Seite 16).
Ist kein Strich zu sehen, ist das Gerät auf
Stumm geschaltet (siehe
„6.5 Stummschaltung“ auf Seite 16).
6.4 Lautstärke einstellen
• Stellen Sie die Lautstärke, mit der Sie die
Geräusche in der Elterneinheit hören
können, mit den Tasten VOL + 13 und
VOL - 14 ein.
Bei jedem Tastendruck ertönt ein Signal-
ton, der die eingestellte Lautstärke
wiedergibt. Die LEDs 19 leuchten ent-
sprechend auf. Je lauter Sie die Einstel-
lung wählen, desto lauter wird der
Signalton und umso mehr LEDs leuchten.
Gleichzeitig wird die
Lautstärke im Display
durch die Anzahl der
Balken dargestellt. Je lauter Sie die Ein-
stellung wählen, desto lauter wird der
Signalton und umso mehr Balken
erscheinen.
Hinweis: Wenn die VOX-Funktion auf
geringe Sensibilität eingestellt ist (siehe
„6.6 Übertragungssensibilität der VOX-
Funktion einstellen“ auf Seite 17), werden
unabhängig von der eingestellten Laut-
stärke keine leisen Geräusche übertragen.
Das heißt, man hört nicht mehr, auch wenn
man die Lautstärke erhöht. Möchte man
mehr Geräusche hören, muss die Sensibili-
tät der Übertragung durch ein höheres
VOX-Level erhöht werden.
6.5 Stummschaltung
Die Elterneinheit kann auf „STUMM”
geschaltet werden. Geräusche im Baby-
zimmer werden dann nicht mehr übertragen.
1. Drücken Sie die Taste VOL - 14 so oft,
bis Sie keinen Signalton mehr hören.
Nun werden auch keine Geräusche mehr
übertragen.
Im Display 15 erscheint
das Lautsprechersym-
bol ohne Balken.
Die Lautstärke im Babyzimmer wird weiter-
hin durch die LEDs 19 angezeigt. Je mehr
LEDs leuchten, desto lauter sind die
Geräusche im Babyzimmer.
2. Um die Stummschaltung aufzuheben,
betätigen Sie die Taste VOL + 13.
3. Ist die Elterneinheit Stumm gestellt und
sie aktivieren die Talk-Back Funktion,
wird die Lautstärke automatisch wieder
auf die erste Stufe hochgestellt.

– brief press: Switch nightlight on or off
– long press: Activate call function of
parent unit

– lights up green when the baby unit is
switched on.
10 VOX LED
– lights up green when it has set up a
connection to the parent unit;
– goes out if the connection to the parent
unit is interrupted, the device is
switched off or is in Eco-Mode.

13 The Vol + button
– increases the volume.
14 The Vol - button
– reduces the volume.
– Switches to mute on the lowest setting.
Sounds are then indicated only by the
LEDs 19.

16 Connection indicator
– lights up green when there it a
connection;
– flashes green while there is a
connection, Eco-Mode is active and
your baby is asleep;
– lights up red if the connection is lost.

18 The power supply indicator POWER
– lights up green: the device is switched
on and the battery is fully charged;
– flashes green: the battery currently
being charged;
– lights up red and beeps at one minute
intervals: low battery warning. Within
about 15 – 20 minutes the parent unit
will switch off automatically.
19 Indicator LEDs
– indicates the noise level in the nursery.
The more LEDs are lit, the louder are
the noises;
– indicates the different levels when you
are adjusting the volume. The more
LEDs are lit, the louder will be the
sound from the loudspeaker;
– indicates the different levels when you
are adjusting the VOX sensitivity. The
more LEDs are flashing, the sooner the
device will react to sounds. If 5 LEDs
are lit the device will switch to
continuous transmission.

– press briefly and use Vol +/- to set the
transmission sensitivity.

– press, to use Vol +/- to adjust the VOX
setting;
21 Lullabies on/off button
– brief press: Switch lullabies on or
off;
– press and hold the button to play the
next song.
22 Hold down the TALK button
– Holding down this button activates the
function “talk to baby”;
– while the baby unit is in Eco-Mode, the
talk-back function is disabled and this
is indicated by two consecutive beeps.
23 Nightlight on/off button
– press: Switch nightlight on or
off;

6.8 Lullabies
To soothe baby to sleep, you can play
lullabies on the loudspeaker 2 of the baby
unit.
Note: You can alternatively switch the
lullabies on and off from the baby unit itself
(see "5.3 Lullabies" on page 34).
The previously selected lullaby will play in a
loop for about 20 minutes and the “Lullaby”
function will then automatically switch off.
1. You activate the function by briefly pressing
the Lullabies on/off button 21.
The first song will be played and
at the same time the musical note
symbol will appear on the display
15 of the parent unit.
A choice of four different lullabies and one
track of natural sounds are available.
2. You switch to the next song by holding
down the Lullabies on/off button 21.
The musical note symbol on the
display 15 will flash briefly and
then the next song will be
played.
3. You switch the function off by again
briefly pressing the Lullabies on/off
button 21.
The musical note symbol disappears.
Caution! We recommend that you do not
use the mute setting on the parent unit while
lullabies are being played, because this
would leave you with no monitoring
functions at all and quite unable to hear if
your baby cries.
Note: The five LEDs 19 are switched off
while lullabies are playing, because the
device cannot distinguish between a baby
crying and a lullaby being played, but you
will still be able to hear if your baby is crying
in the background.
Lullabies in Eco-Mode
Please note! There are a number of special
features while the babyphone is in Eco-
Mode(see "4.5 Eco-Mode and FULL-ECO-
CONTROL" on page 32):
• The “Lullaby” function is temporarily
deactivated so that you do not
inadvertently disturb baby.
In this case the musical note
symbol will flash while the FULL-
ECO-CONTROL function
checks the connection between
the two units.
– To prevent the lullabies switching on
later, you can again press the Lullabies
on/off button 21 to immediately cancel
the function. The flashing symbol will
then disappear from the display.
– If you choose to switch the lullabies on
anyway, there may be a delay of up to
30 seconds before they begin. In Eco-
Mode, the activation command is not
transmitted until the next range check
is carried out (see "Range check in
Eco-Mode“ on page32).
6.9 Nightlight
The Nightlight function provides for a soft
dim light in the nursery.
Note: You can alternatively switch the
nightlight on and off from the baby unit itself
(see "5.4 Nightlight" on page 34).
1. You activate the function by briefly
pressing the Nightlight on/off button 23.
The nightlight 4 switches on.
The display 15 shows the
lightbulb symbol.
2. You switch the function off by briefly
pressing the Nightlight on/off button 23
again.
The nightlight 4 switches off.
The lightbulb symbol disappears.
Nightlight in Eco-Mode
Please note! There are a number of special
features while the babyphone is in Eco-
Mode(see "4.5 Eco-Mode and FULL-ECO-
CONTROL" on page 32):
