Please read theentire instruction manual before using theproduct
and then save it for future reference. We reserve theright for any
errors in text or images and any necessary changes made to
technical data. In theevent of technical problems or other queries,

Safety
Never expose thedevice to high or low temperatures, rain
or moisture.
Never use theproduct in direct sunlight for any extended period.
Never attempt to dismantle theproduct, as it contains no user-
serviceable parts.
Buttons and functions
Connection
1. Connect your guitar cable to thepedal’s input socket (7).
2. Connect anaudio cable to pedal’s output socket (4) to
theamplifier. This will put thepedal into bypass mode.
3. Pressing theOn/Off button will turn thepedal on and set it into
tuning mode. This will disconnect theamplifier signal allowing
you to tune your guitar unamplified.
4. Pressing theOn/Off button again turn thepedal off and will put
it into bypass mode, allowing thesignal to bypass thepedal and
flow through to theamplifier.
Adjusting thetuning note frequency
Thepedal is set to 440 Hz (normal A) from thefactory.
Frequency adjustment:
1. Connect theguitar cable to theinput socket (7). Two dots
will show in thedisplay which indicates that thepedal is in
standby mode.
Normal mode
When plucking thestring for tuning, thecorresponding LED indicator
will light according to theillustrations below:
E.g. If you have set ahalf tone flat tuning and pluck your D string
during tuning, E will show on thedisplay. Tune your D string until D
shows on thedisplay. Your D string is now tuned ahalf tone lower.
Care and maintenance
Wipe thepedal with asoft damp cloth. Use only mild cleaning
agents, never solvents or corrosive chemicals.
Remove thebattery if thepedal is not to be used for along time.
Troubleshooting guide
Thepedal does
not power on/
doesn’t work.
Check that thebattery is not flat.
Replace if necessary.
Make sure that themains adaptor is
undamaged and is securely connected to
both theelectrical socket and thepedal.
Check that thewall socket is live.
Make sure that theguitar cable is
undamaged and is securely connected to
both theguitar and thepedal.
Make sure theguitar volume is set to max.
Disposal
This product should be disposed of in accordance with local regulations.
If you are unsure how to proceed, contact your local council.

Operation
Battery
1. Open thebattery cover on
bottom of theunit and insert
1×9 V battery (sold separately).
2. Refit thebattery cover.
Mains adaptor (sold separately)
1. Ensure that theadaptor is compatible before connecting it to
the9 V DC socket .
2. Connect themains adaptor to thepower adaptor socket (1).
2. Press the [ Pitch ]
button. Thedisplay
will then show
thestandard tuning
note “A”.
3. Press the [ Pitch ] button
therequired number of times
to set thedesired tuning note
between 435–445 Hz. TheLEDs
correspond thechosen tuning
note frequency. See fig.
4. Wait until two red dots show in thedisplay again. Thepedal is
now set with thenew tuning note setting.
Tuning
Display icons
” = points toward thegreen LED in-tune indicator. Lights when
thestring is in tune to theset frequency.
” = (flat), If theLEDs are on theleft side of thearrow (or move
towards this area in strobe mode) thestring is flat.
” = (sharp), If theLEDs are on theright side of thearrow (or move
towards this area in strobe mode) thestring is sharp.
1. Plug aguitar cable into thepedals input socket (7) and connect
theother end to your guitar. Two dots will show in thedisplay
which indicates that thepedal is in standby mode.
2. Raise thevolume on your guitar to themax.
3. Select display mode by holding the [ Flat/Display ] button until
thedisplay shows thechosen setting.
- Normal mode: Thedisplay’s LED indicators give astatic
representation of how far off you are from being correctly
tunes, indicated by themiddle green LED.
- Strobe mode: Thelight pattern sweeps across theLEDs.
Flat In tune Sharp
Theplucked strings note is flat: Thelit LED will be on theleft of arrow.
Theplucked string’s note is correctly tuned: Thelit green LED
will be solidly lit directly under thein-tune arrow.
Theplucked string’s note is sharp: Thelit LED will be on theright
of arrow.
Strobe mode
Afast moving strobe pattern flashing across theLED indicators
means your instrument is extremely out of tune. Thestrobe pattern
will slow down thecloser you come to being in tune and thegreen
LED will be solidly lit once you have achieved thecorrect tuning.
Sharp In-tune Flat
Theplucked string’s note is sharp: TheLED will strobe towards
theright.
Theplucked string’s note is correctly tuned: Thelit green LED
will be solidly lit directly under thein-tune arrow.
Theplucked strings note is flat: Thelit LED will be on theleft of arrow.
E-flat tuning
E-flat tuning allows you to tune your guitar down ahalf tone (or
more). E-flat tuning will result in your guitar strings being tuned as
follows, E A D G B E , instead of thestandard tuning of ♭ ♭ ♭ ♭
E AD G B E. You can also flat tune your guitar awhole, 1 ½ or two
whole tones.
1. Shortly press the [ Flat/Display ]
button until thedisplay shows:
2. Press the [ Flat/Display ] button
again to select thedegree of
flat tuning desired. One lit LED
indicates ahalf tone flat tuning.
Theexample below shows
a1 ½ tone flat tuning. Wait until
two red dots show in thedisplay
again. Thepedal is now set with
thenew tuning note setting.
