ges. This unit is guaranteed “Made in Germany”!

That is why we are able to guarantee the voltage regulator for a period of 24

months from date of purchase. The guarantee covers proven material faults which

arise during the guarantee period, which will be corrected by us at no charge to

you. As a precautionary measure we wish to point out that we reserve the right to

replace the unit if a repair is not possible for economic reasons.

Any repairs which we carry out for you in our Service Department do not extend the

original guarantee period.

The guarantee does not apply if the unit is used incorrectly, e.g. as a result of re-

versed polarity, excessive vibration, excessive voltage, damp, fuel or short-circuit.

The same applies to defects caused by particularly harsh wear and tear. We accept

no liability for transport damage or the loss of your shipment. If you wish to make

a claim under guarantee, send the unit, together with proof of purchase and a de-

scription of the fault, to us at the following address:

WARNING

Connecting the battery with reversed polarity will destroy the integral

regulator!

In order to minimise losses, the unit does not feature reverse polarity protection.

2. SWITCH

If you wish to use a switch, then it must be installed between the battery and the

V-Regulator, otherwise the V-Regulator would slowly discharge the battery.

3. PERFORMANCE

The V-Regulator is tted with a generously proportioned heat-sink which is ma-

chined from solid. As a result it is suitable for 5 - 6 standard servos or 4 - 5 digital

servos. In model gliders tted with small servos (8 - 13mm case width) you can

connect up to 8 servos.

The peak output of the V-Regulator (approx. 10 seconds) is up to 20A, while the

continuous output varies according to cooling efciency and input voltage.

tallation of the VRegulator, fulll the recommended conditions when using the unit,

or maintain the entire radio control system competently.

For this reason we deny liability for loss, damage or costs which arise due to the

use or operation of the , or which are connected with such use in any VRegulator

way. Regardless of the legal arguments employed, our obligation to pay damages

is limited to the invoice total of our products which were involved in the event, inso-

Dear PowerBox customer,

The V-Regulator is a compact, high-performance voltage regulator which is ideal

for any model where standard servos are to be operated in conjunction with a Lithi-

um battery. In this way fairly small to medium-sized xed-wing model aircraft and

helicopters can be equipped, or re-equipped, with modern battery technology. The

signal wire is looped through from the input to the output, which means that even

a single 6V servo can be operated in a model tted with a high-voltage system.

A further application is for those electronic ignition systems whose maximum po-

wer supply voltage is limited.

The regulated output voltage ensures that servos give a constant performance.

The unit effectively lters out servo feedback currents.

1. INSTALLATION, CONNECTIONS

Install the V-Regulator in the model in a position where the heat-sink is not covered.

The better the cooling, the higher the continuous current that the V-Regulator can

deliver.

Connect the battery in accordance with the markings on the aluminium heat-sink.

Connect the output to the appropriate receiver socket, or the input socket of the
