Safety precautions
To ensure safe operation of your heater, the appliance
must be connected in accordance with the indications
in the manual.
The appliance is only suitable for domestic or similar
purposes within enclosed spaces.
Do not use the appliance in humid spaces, such as
bathrooms and utility spaces.
When the heater is covered, then this can result in a
fire hazard.
Place the appliance only upright and on a level, dry
base.
The surfaces, and especially the grate, become very
hot during operation. Make sure that small children or
persons with reduced physical capabilities cannot
touch these surfaces.
No objects may be inserted through the appliance's
grate openings. This can disturb proper operation and
potentially lead to combustion of the object.
Never use the appliance in combination with a time
switch. The automatic operation of connected heaters
can result in a hazard during your absence.
Do not run the mains lead across the hot appliance.
Electrical heaters are designed as additional heating
and are not suitable for main heating during the cold
season.
Position the heater at a distance of at least 100cm
from obstacles and ensure that the hot air flow of the
appliance is not blown against any easily combustible
objects (such as curtains and/or heat-sensitive
plastics).
Never leave your appliance unattended. Also always
pull the plug out of the socket when you leave the
room.
Do not use an extension lead.
Installation
Ensure that the socket plug of the appliance is not
connected to the wall socket and that the switch is in
the off position.
Turn the appliance upside down to install the base.
Put the mains lead and plug through the hole of the
base.
Place the base on the upper part of the appliance.
Ensure that the tilt protection is located through the
hole of the base and that it can easily switch.
Fix the nuts on it and tighten them.
Then turn the appliance right-side up again.
Connection
The heater is supplied with a socket plug. Never
operate the appliance with a damaged mains lead
and/or plug, or after a malfunctioning of the heater has
occurred or after it has been damaged in any possible
way.
The replacement of a mains lead and/or plug should
only be performed by a qualified expert, who is familiar
with the applicable regulations.
Operation
Insert the socket plug in the wall socket and press
the on/off button to switch on the appliance.
Press the 1st button to turn on the heating (= 400W).
Then press the 2nd button (= 800W) and the 3rd
button (= 1200W) to add additional heat.
Press the rotation button to have the heater
automatically turn from left to right.
For switching off the appliance you need to press all
buttons again and pull the socket plug from the wall
socket.
Remark:
Allow the appliance to completely cool down before
moving it. Always use the handle for moving.
During the initial start-up, it is possible that the
appliance emits a small amount of smoke or odour.
This is due to a drop of oil that may have fallen on the
heating element during the production process. The
drop will evaporate and cannot cause damage.
Cleaning
We recommend carefully cleaning the heater once a
month to remove dirt and dust. This is to allow the
appliance to operate efficiently and safely.
Always switch off the appliance with the on/off
button and pull the plug from the wall socket. Make
sure the appliance has completely cooled down
before cleaning it.
Clean the housing with a clean, soft and lightly
damp cloth. Never clean the heating elements.
Allow all parts to thoroughly dry before you switch
on the heater again. Do not use any detergent (wax)
or cleaning agents; these can react under the
influence of heat and cause the colour to
deteriorate.
