80V 1000W POWER SOURCE
IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
WARNING!
READ AND UNDERSTAND ALL INSTRUCTIONS. Failure to follow all instructions
listed below may result in electric shock, fire and/or serious injury.
SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS - This manual contains important safety and op-
erating instructions for power source model RY80BG02.
For use with RYOBI 80V battery packs, see tool/appliance/battery pack/
charger correlation supplement 998000922.
Do not expose the power source to rain or wet conditions. Water entering the
power source will increase the risk of electric shock.
Do not use the power source if it has been dropped or received a sharp blow.
A damaged power source will increase the risk of fire.
Remove the battery pack from the power source when not in use.
Do not disassemble the power source.
To reduce the risk of injury, close supervision is necessary when an appliance
is used near children.
Store power source indoors and away from children.
As with all electrical devices, use caution when plugging/unplugging other
devices into this unit. Do not force plugs into this unit.
If this unit is used in a manner not specified by the manufacturer, the protection
provided by this equipment may be impaired.
Do not overload the power source. It must be used for powering devices less
than the product rating.
Two- or three-prong plugs may be used with this product. Do not force a
polarized plug (one prong larger than the other) into this product. Flip plug over
and retry.
Never block air vents. Blocked vents may cause overheating. Power source will
automatically shut off AC output when overheated.
Keep power source cool. Do not place near heat vents or in direct sunlight.
Do not use the power source around flammable fumes and gasses, such as
in the bilge of a boat or near propane tanks.
Do not put foreign objects into the power source.
Operate this product using only the AC power type listed in the product
specifications.
This unit should never be hard wired into a circuit.
Do not power life support devices or other necessary medical equipment
with this power source.
Save these instructions. Refer to them frequently and use them to instruct others
who may use this product. If you loan someone this product, loan them these
instructions also.

APPLICATIONS
You may use this product for the following purposes:
Operating and charging USB-powered devices
Supplying electrical power for operating compatible electrical devices such as, but
not limited to, lighting, appliances, tools, TVs, and fans.
NOTE: This device is not compatible for use with air conditioners, sump pumps,
compressors, and/or other larger electrical devices.

CONNECTING TO A BATTERY PACK
See Figure 1.
To install: Connect the power source plug to the charging port on the battery.
To remove: Disconnect the power source from the battery.
MOUNTING THE POWER SOURCE TO A BATTERY PACK
See Figure 2.
Attach the mounting plate to the battery as shown.
Using a Phillips head screwdriver, insert the provided thumb screw into the mount-
ing holes on each side of the plate, tighten securely.
Align the slots on the bottom of the power source to the raised ribs on the mounting
plate and slide the power source onto the mounting plate. Press down until the
power source locks into place.
To remove the power source from the mounting plate
Press the locking tab on the mounting plate to unlock and slide the power source
off the mounting plate.
To remove the mounting plate from the battery
Using a Phillips head screwdriver, locate and remove the thumb screws on each
side of the plate.
Pull the side tabs gently outward and remove the mounting plate from the battery.
CONNECTING TO AN 80V MOWER
See Figure 3.
For extended run time on connected devices, this power source can be connected to a
RYOBI 80V mower by plugging the power source plug into the charging port of the mower.
This power source is compatible with the following RYOBI mowers: RYRM8006,
RYRM8007
• Place 80V Batteries in the designated battery ports of the mower.
• Rest the Power Source on a stable surface of the mower near the 80V Charging
Port.
• Insert the inverter plug into the charging port on the mower, making sure it is
properly connected.
• Insert the start key and turn the key to the ‘AUX’ position.
• Turn the Power Source on by pressing the power button on the inverter.
The following mower models are not compatible using the charging port, you
must first remove the battery and follow the instructions listed above: RYRM8001,
RYRM8010, RYRM8002, RYRM8021, RYRM8003, and RYRM8034
USING THE POWER SOURCE
See Figures 3 - 4.
When a charged battery pack is installed, this power source converts DC electricity to
120V AC household power and/or USB-A (5/9/12V, up to 18 W) or USB-C (5/9/12/15/20V,
up to 60 W), allowing the user to charge and power a variety of devices.
WARNING:
Risk of electric shock. When using a grounded appliance this tool will not provide
an electrical path to earth ground. Do not power devices with damaged or frayed
power cords.
Connect the power source to a battery.
Press the main power button to turn the power source on and power the USB ports.
NOTE: It may take up to 3 seconds for the LCD screen to illuminate.
Press the AC power button to supply power to the 120V AC recepticles.
When finished, disconnect devices and press the main power button to turn the
unit off. Disconnect the power source plug from the battery.
