WARNINGS and INSTRUCTIONS

1. This helmet is for use only with motorcycles

ridden on the street or other paved surfaces.

Never use this helmet off road, on snowmobiles,

in automobiles, etc.

2. Always ride with care. Even though this helmet

meets or exceeds many of the world’s most

demanding standards for helmet production,

no helmet can protect the wearer from all

foreseeable high or low speed impacts. All

safety equipment have limits, and you could

still sustain a head injury in an accident even

if you are wearing a helmet. However, for

maximum protection against death or permanent

impairment from a head injury, the helmet must

fit firmly on your head and the chinstrap must be

securely fastened as described in this manual.

3. The helmet is designed to absorb impact by

partial destruction of the shell and/or liner. This

damage may not be visible to you. Therefore,

if your helmet is subjected to any impact, even

if it is only dropped to the ground, the helmet

should be returned for inspection or replaced and

destroyed even if it is apparently undamaged.

If you have any doubts, and you are not sure

whether this rule applies, consult your dealer

before you use your helmet again.

4. A helmet, like all products, may wear out over

time depending on the conditions of use. Please

check your helmet every time you use it for

evidence of damage or wear. The helmet should

always fit snugly all around your head. If it is not

snug, it has become too big for you and should

be replaced. Never wear a damaged helmet. Even

if the helmet does not show any evidence of

damage or wear, we recommended the helmet to

be replaced five years after it is first purchased.

5. Make no modifications whatsoever to your

helmet. Never drill or cut any component of

the helmet. Modifications can significantly

weaken your helmet, thereby eliminating its

ability to protect you from an impact.

6. Handle your helmet carefully. Never sit on it or

drop it to the ground. Never ride with the helmet

hanging from any part of your motorcycle.

7. Never use petroleum or petroleum products,

chemicals or any other solvents to clean the

helmet, shell or visor. In addition, never expose

your helmet to the fumes of these solvents (for

example by leaving it on top of the fuel tank

cap on your motorcycle). Your helmet could be

seriously damaged by these agents, without this

damage being visible to you, thereby eliminating

its ability to protect you. Use only mild soap,

warm water, and a soft cloth to wipe your helmet

and visor clean.

8. Never apply any paint, stickers or adhesive

tape to any part of your shell or visor. They could

significantly weaken your helmet, without this

damage being visible to you, thereby eliminating

the helmet’s ability to protect you.

9 . You will experience some reduction in hearing,

peripheral vision and head movements while you

are wearing your helmet. Please ride accordingly.

10. Dry your helmet at room temperature. Never

subject it to heat in excess of 160°F/70°C,

which can occur if your helmet is stored in the

passenger compartment or trunk of a car.

11. If you ever have any comments or questions

about this helmet, please contact SHARK or your

nearest dealer.

No warranty or representation is made as

to this product’s ability to protect the user

from all foreseeable high or low speed impacts

or from any injury or death; The user of this

helmet recognizes and agrees that there are

risks inherent in motorcycle riding, including

but not limited to the risk that your helmet

cannot protect against all foreseeable high or

low speed impacts. By his/her purchase and use

of this helmet, the user expressly, voluntarily and

knowingly accepts and assumes these risks and

agrees to hold SHARK harmless to the fullest

extent permitted by law against any resulting

damages.

separately in a packet) to be ﬁtted in accordance

with the enclosed plan.

WARNING! The United-States have a speciﬁc

regulation, the helmets ECE approved only

cannot be used in these territories without the

complementary DOT FMVSS 218 approval.

WARNING! STREET-DRAK The helmet

is only approved in jet. The mask does

not protect the chin against the shocks.

CHOOSE YOUR SIZE

WARNING! No helmet can

protect the wearer from all

foreseeable high or low speed

impacts. However, for maximum

protection, the helmet must be

of proper ﬁt and the chin strap must be

securely fastened as described in this

manual. Failure to have a proper ﬁt and

to securely fasten the chin strap is dan-

gerous, as the helmet could come off

in an accident, resulting in severe head

injury or death.

CHOOSE YOUR SIZE

Each helmet is designed to corres-

pond to a head measurement (from for

XS up to XL). To measure your head

size, wrap a tape measure horizon-

tally around your head at a height of

approximately one inch (2.5cm) above

your eyebrows. If your head measure-

ment falls between two sizes, ﬁrst

try on the smaller helmet. However,

because of different head shapes, this

size reference can only be considered

as a guide. For maximum protection, it

is necessary to check that the helmet is

well suited for the shape of your head.

When trying a brand new helmet, make

sure that your head is pushed into the

helmet as far as possible, with the front

part just above your eyebrows, and

with the chin strap securely fastened

as described on the next page.

1. The helmet should feel very snug all

around your head and fairly tight on the

cheek pads. If not, it is too big for you;

select a smaller size.

2. With the chin strap properly faste-

ned, be sure that the helmet cannot

be moved excessively from side to

side or up and down.You should feel

CHIN STRAP

Depending on the various versions and the

country concerned, your STREET-DRAK is equip-

ped with a chin strap with a “Precise Lock” rapid

buckle with a snap lock or one with a double-D

ring. Proper use of the chin strap is critical for

proper performance of the helmet. Never alter

your chin strap in any way. For example, never

cut it or add holes, or apply buttons, studs or

other items to your chin strap. During the life of

your helmet, be sure that the chin strap never

suffers any type of abrasion or cut, and that its

total length does not change. If it does, replace

your helmet.

PRECISE LOCK

The “Precise Lock” snap lock system gives you

precise and accurate adjustment because of the

considerable length of its notched section.

However, it is essential on purchase to adapt

the length of the chin strap to your measure-

ments. Adjust the length of the strap using the

adjusting buckle (figs. A, B, C and D).

Choose your STREET-DRAK and attach the

holding system. When the “Precise Lock” is

adjusted to the medium position, the chin strap

must be correctly tensioned under the chin to

hold the helmet firmly without causing you any

discomfort or pain.

To fasten the chin strap, all you have to do is to

thread the tongue into its place on the buckle

until tension is perfect (fig. E). The tongue

connects and is automatically blocked.

To release the chin strap, you have to pull on

the lever (fig. F) and remove the tongue from the

buckle. Although the notched tongue enables

you to change the adjustment precisely on each

use, it is important to check frequently that the

adjustment of the strap length is correct.

WARNING! Never ride with the chin strap

loose or insufficiently tightened. Even

though the interior padding gives you the impres-

sion of being held, your helmet risks coming off

in a fall.

Never apply lubricating or acid products or grease

or solvents to the chin strap buckle parts.

CHIN STRAP

WARNING! Never use the strap loop to

secure your helmet to your head. In order to

be properly fastened, you must thread the strap

through the double-D-rings. Failure to properly

use the double-D-rings will cause your helmet

to become dislodged during an accident, leaving

your head completely unprotected and resulting in

severe head injury or death. Try to pull down on the

chin strap with your ﬁngers. If the strap loosens

in any way, you have not properly tightened

the chin strap with the double-D rings.

Repeat the steps above. Never ride with the chin

strap loose, improperly fastened or improperly

positioned.

Even though the comfort padding gives you the

impression that the helmet is securely held in

place, it will come off in an accident, leaving your

head completely unprotected.

If you have any doubt concerning the fastening

system of your helmet, do not use the helmet.

Contact your dealer for assistance.

DOUBLE-D RING

A - Slide the long part of the chin strap through

the two D rings, positioning the comfort pad

correctly between the chin strap and your neck.

B - Then bring the end of the chin strap

back through the lower of the two D rings

as shown in the diagram.

C - Pull the strap until you feel resistance from

the strap and it is held in place under your chin

without being too tight, so that you have no

difficulty in breathing.

CHIN STRAP

PUTTING ON THE HELMET

Once the chin strap is released, you

have to take hold of the two sections

by the buckles and hold them slightly

apart to facilitate the passage of your

head. While carrying out this move-

ment, you are advised to keep the two

sections of the chin strap apart with

your thumbs so that they are properly

positioned.

Position the protective parts of the

chin strap buckle correctly and fasten

it in accordance with the recommen-

dations that are appropriate to the

versions and country.

Check that the tension and therefore

the positioning of the helmet are cor-

rect for all positions. If this is not the

case, you must continue to adjust

the length until you achieve the ideal

positioning.

REMOVING THE HELMET

Release the chin strap. Hold the two

sections slightly apart as for putting

the helmet on and remove the helmet.

WARNING! If you cannot

properly fasten your chin strap

or obtain the correct fit of your hel-

met on your head, DO NOT USE THE

HELMET! See your retailer for assis-

tance.

ADVICE FOR USE

GOGGLES AND MASK

MOUNTING

Go up at the first the mask on the goggles.

1. Seize goggles left hand and mask right

hand seen internal.

2. Present perpendicularly the mask and the

goggles (fig. A).

3. Engage the central ergo in front of hole.

4. Then revolve to engage them (fig. B).

5. Engage then by means of a pressure /

twisting (fig. C) the second central ergo, then

the sides (fig. D).

6. Place the assembly on the helmet as

described before.

TEXTILE PARTS

CLEANING THE INTERIOR

The interior textile parts are washable; it is

important to strictly follow the instructions

below to avoid damaging them:

The cheek pads and head section must be

hand washed in warm, soapy water (about

30°). Do not use aggressive detergents but

either a product for delicate materials in low

dilution or household soap.

It is essential to dry textile and foam parts

completely before reinstalling them in the

helmet. They must be air dried at room

temperature. Never use a clothes dryer or

other heat source. Never iron textile parts.

For parts with a leather appearance or

textiles attached to safety elements, use a

slightly damp sponge or cloth and household

soap and rinse with clean water. Do not

allow too much water to come into contact

with polystyrene parts.

You must insure that all interior parts are

perfectly dry before using the helmet.

WARNING! Damaged interior padding

will compromise the fit of your helmet on

your head and could allow the helmet to come

off your head in an accident, resulting in a head

injury or death.

THE TEXTILE PARTS

The textile and foam parts providing com-

fort to the STREET-DRAK make it easy for

you to appreciate the performance of your

helmet to the full.

The parts in contact with the skin are

made in a fabric that is guaranteed to feel

pleasant, to absorb perspiration well and

to resist wear satisfactorily.

We treat surfaces to limit the risk of mould

and bacteria.

WARNING! Although they are selec-

ted for their quality of resistance and

satisfactory wear, all the comfort padding is

subject to normal wear and tear. The rate

of wear and tear will depend on use, care

and maintenance, the length of use and the

degree of acidity of your perspiration. Wear

and tear of the comfort padding will even-

tually change the fit of your helmet on your

head. If that occurs, you must immediately

replace the helmet or padding. See your

retailer for advice.

WARNING! Each time you put on

your helmet, check the fit as dis-

cussed in “Choose your size“.

TEXTILE PARTS

DISMANTLING THE INTERIOR.

- Turn your helmet over.

- Separate the two parts of the chin strap

- Take off the strap from its passer (fig. A).

- Unhook the velcro of the two cheek pads

(Fig. B) and slide them along the chin straps

to extract them.

- Remove the neck pad by holding one of its

sides. Pull out the end and then detach its

rear section (Fig. C).

- To complete the operation, unclip the front

of the head section, starting with one side

(Fig. D) and remove the head section.

WARNING! The interior padding is

critical to maintain the correct fit of

the helmet on your head. If you have any

doubt whatsoever regarding the removal or

replacement of the interior padding, DO NOT

USE YOUR HELMET. Contact your retailer

for assistance or advice. NEVER use your

helmet with any part of the interior padding

removed. The helmet will not protect you in

an accident.

TEXTILE PARTS

REPLACING THE INTERIOR.

- Start the operation by sliding the plastic tabs

of the front of the head section in its housing

beginning with one side (Fig. A).

- Insert one end of the neck pad at the edge of

the helmet, and feed the remainder of the neck

pad beneath the edge of the helmet. Insert the

other edge of the neck pad at the other edge of

the helmet (Fig. B).

- Re-Engage the strap in its passers (fig. C).

- Then, hook the Velcro bands (Fig. D).

WARNING! The polystyrene lining and

interior padding are critical to properly

fit your helmet on your head. An improper fit

could cause your helmet to become dislodged

in an accident, leaving your head unprotected

and resulting in severe head injury or death. If

you are not sure that you properly replaced the

comfort padding, DO NOT USE YOUR HELMET.

Contact your retailer for assistance or advise.

LEGAL INFORMATION: this helmet was speciﬁcally

designed for motorcycle use. It is not to be subjected to any

technical modiﬁcation. In order to offer an adequate level

of protection, this helmet has to be properly adjusted and

securely ﬁtted. Any helmet which has been subjected to a

severe impact must be replaced.

CAUTION: Do not apply any paint, stickers, petrol or any

other solvent to this helmet. The helmet STREET-DRAK

must be exclusively used with glasses of protection SHARK.

They are built with two screens: an outer shield and an

inner screen separated by an insulating air camera, making

it more difﬁcult for it to be penetrated.

The SHARK goggles meet the requirements of the European

EN 1938: 2010 F and are fully compliant with the criteria of

Class 2 of Directive 89/686/ECC EN 1938: 2010. They are

identiﬁed by the number ACE 7600.

To keep the good optical quality of the visor and the coa-

tings do not use any solvent, petrol, abrasive paste or

similar products for cleaning. We advise to use a soft rag

with cool water and mild soap. Visors printed “DAYTIME

USE ONLY” must not be used at night or in poor visibility

conditions.

lunettes de protection SHARK. Elles sont constituées de 2

par une lame d’air isolante. Elles répondent aux exigences

des directives européennes EN 1938 : 2010 F et sont par-

faitement conformes aux critères de la classe 2 de la direc-

tive 89/686/CEE NF EN 1938 :2010. Elles sont identiﬁées

sous le numéro ACE 7600. Pour maintenir la bonne qualité

optique et éviter les problèmes d’abrasion, ne pas utiliser

de produits à base d’alcool, de solvant, d’essence, de pâte

abrasive ou autres produits similaires pour son nettoyage. Il

est conseillé de tremper l’écran dans de l’eau tiède savon-

neuse (savon de Marseille) et d’utiliser seulement ensuite

un chiffon doux pour son nettoyage. Les écrans portant la

mention “DAYTIME USE ONLY” (Utiliser seulement le jour)

ne se prêtent pas à une utilisation de nuit ou dans des

conditions de mauvaise visibilité.

Jeder Helm muss nach jeder stärkeren Kraftaufnahme

(Unfall) unbedingt ersetzt werden.

ACHTUNG : Verwenden Sie keinerlei Fremdlacke, Aufkleber,

Benzine oder irgendgeartete Lösungs-/Reinigungsmittel auf

diesem Helm. Der Helm STREET-DRAK darf ausschließlich

mit der Schutzbrille SHARK. Sie ist aufgebaut mit zwei

Scheiben: eine äußere und eine innere Scheibe, welche

durch eine isolierende Luftkammer getrennt werden. Diese

macht es noch schwieriger durchdrungen zu werden.

Die SHARK Schutzbrille entspricht dem Anspruch der euro-

päischen EN 1938: 2010F und ist absolut konform mit der

Klasse 2 der Direktive 89/686/ECC EN 1938: 2010. Dieses

Visier ist aus Polycarbonat. Um die gute optische Qualität

des Visiers und der Beschichtungen zu erhalten, benutzen

Sie weder Lösungsmittel, Benzin, Polierpaste noch ähnliche

Produkte zum Reinigen. Wir empfehlen ein weiches Tuch

mit kaltem Wasser und mildem Reinigungsmittel. Visiere

mit der Aufschrift “DAYTIME USE ONLY” dürfen nachts oder

bei schlechter Sicht nicht benutzt werden.

ANNOTAZIONI LEGALI: Questo casco è stato speciﬁcata-

mente progettato per uso motociclistico. Non deve essere in alcun

modo modiﬁcato. Al ﬁne di offrire un adeguato livello di protezione

questo casco deve essere regolato in modo sicuro e corretta-

mente calzato. Tutti i caschi che hanno subito un forte impatto

devono essere sostituiti.

solventi su questo casco. La visiera deve essere maneg-

sivamente utilizzato con gli occhiali di protezione SHARK.

Sono costituiti da due schermi : uno schermo esterno e uno

interno separati da uno spazio d’aria isolante.

Rispondono alle esigenze delle direttive europee EN 1938

: 2010 F e sono perfettamente conformi ai criteri della

classe 2 della direttiva 89/686/CEE NF EN 1938:2010.

Sono identiﬁcati con il riferimento ACE 7600. Per non

compromettere la qualità e le condizioni di visibilità

garantite dalla visiera e dai suoi strati, si prega di non un

usare nessun solvente, benzina o pasta abrasiva durante il

processo di pulizia. Consigliamo l’uso di un panno bagnato

con acqua fredda e sapone neutro. Le visiere che portano

la dicitura “DAYTIME USE ONLY” non devono assolutamente

essere utilizzate durante le ore notturne o in condizioni di

scarsa visibilità.

Los visores están compuestos de dos pantallas una externa

y otra interna separadas por una cámara de aire. Haciendo

que el visor sea así más difícil de traspasar.

Cumplen con todos los requisitos de la normativa europea

1938/2010 F y son totalmente compatibles con los criterios

Siendo estas identiﬁcadas por el número ACE 7600. Para

conservar su excelente calidad óptica y evitar los proble-

mas por abrasión, no utilizar en su limpieza productos a

base de alcohol, disolventes o gasolina, ni pulimentos abra-

sivos o similares. Se recomienda sumergir la pantalla en

agua tibia con jabón (Jabón de Marsella) y a continuación

usar un paño suave para su secado y limpieza. Las pantal-

las con la inscripción “DAYTIME USE ONLY” no son adecua-

das para uso nocturno o en condiciones de baja visibilidad,

por su gran absorción de la luz.

PRECAUZIONI E RACCOMANDAZIONI

1. Questo casco è riservato all’uso di un due

ruote a motore su strada o qualsiasi altra

superficie piana. Non utilizzare mai questo casco

per fuori-strada, moto-neve, automobile ecc.

2. Guidare sempre con prudenza. Anche se il

casco risponde o va oltre le normative mondiali

relative alla produzione dei caschi, non può

proteggere interamente l’utilizzatore da tutti

gli urti possibili ad alta o bassa velocità.

Qualsiasi equipaggiamento di sicurezza ha

i suoi limiti, una ferita alla testa è possibile

anche in caso di porto del casco. Nonostante

ciò, per proteggersi da un incidente mortale

o da deficienze permanenti dovute a ferite

alla testa, il casco deve imperativamente

corrispondere alla taglia della propria testa e il

cinturino dev’essere correttamente attaccato,

come indicato in questo libretto.

3. Il casco è concepito in modo da ammortire

un impatto con la distruzione della calotta

e/o ammortizzatore interno. Questo danno

può non essere evidente, di conseguenza, se

il casco subisce un urto, anche in caso di

semplce caduta per terra, dev’essere riportato

per verifica, sostituzione o distruzione, anche

se non sembra deteriorato. In caso di dubbio e

se non si è sicuri che questa regola si applichi

per l’urto in questione, si deve contattare

il proprio rivenditore prima di un qualsiasi

nuovo utilizzo del casco.

4. Un casco, come ogni prodotto, si può

deteriorare nel tempo a seconda delle

condizioni di utilizzo. Verificare, prima di

ogni utilizzo del casco, qualsiasi segno di

deteriorazione o danneggiamento. La taglia del

casco deve sempre corrispondere alla taglia

della propria testa. Nel caso contrario, il casco

è diventato troppo grande ed è da sostituire.

Non portare mai un casco danneggiato. Anche

se il casco non è danneggiato o deteriorato,

si raccomanda di sostituirlo cinque anni dopo

l’acquisto.

5. Non apportare nessuna modifica al casco.

Non perforare nè tagliare mai un qualsiasi

elemento del casco. Qualsiasi modifica

potrebbe rovinare il casco e, di conseguenza,

ridurre la sua efficacità a proteggerre dagli urti.

6. Manipolare il casco con precauzione. Non

sedersi mai sopra nè gettarlo al suolo. Non

guidare mai col casco appeso a una qualsiasi

parte del due ruote.

7. Non usare mai della benzina o dei prodotti

petroliferi, chimici o qualsiasi altro solvente

per pulire il casco, la calotta o la visiera. E

ancora, non esporre mai il casco ai vapori

di questi solventi (per esempio lasciandolo

sul tappo del serbatoio della moto). Il casco

potrebbe essere seriamente danneggiato

da questi agenti chimici, anche se questo

non sia apparente, e causare una riduzione

nell’efficacità a proteggere. Usare sempre

sapone delicato, acqua calda e panno morbido

per pulire e asciugare il casco e la visiera.

8. Non applicare mai della vernice, degli adesivi

o nastri adesivi sul casco o sulla visiera.

Questi potrebbero rovinare il casco e, anche

se il danno non fosse apparente, causare una

riduzione nell’efficacità a proteggere.

9. Una diminuzione dell’udito, del campo visivo

e dei movimeni della testa saranno constatati

durante il porto del casco. Adattare la propria

guida in conseguenza.

10. Asciugare il casco a temperatura ambiente.

Non esporlo mai a temperature superiori a

circa 160°f/70°c, ciò potrebbe capitare, ad

esempio, se il casco fosse lasciato sul sedile

passeggieri o nel bagagliaio di un’automobile.

11. Per qualsiasi commento o domanda

riguardante il casco, si prega di contattare la

società SHARK o il punto vendita più vicino.

Non garantiamo la capacità di questo

prodotto a proteggere interamente

l’utilizzatore da tutti gli urti possibili ad alta

o bassa velocità, o da ferite che possano

essere mortali. L’utilizzatore del casco

riconosce e ammette che non esistono

rischi, inerenti la guida di un due ruote,

ANATOMIA DEL CASCO

UN CASCO SU MISURA

ATTENZIONE : Nessun casco

può proteggere completamente

l’utilizzatore da tutti gli urti possibili ad alta

o bassa velocità. Tuttavia, per una protezione

efﬁcace, il casco dev’essere della buona

taglia e il cinturino dev’essere allacciato

correttamente come indicato nel libretto.

È pericoloso utilizzare un casco che non

sia della buona taglia o con il cinturino non

allacciato correttamente, il casco potrebbe

separarsi dalla testa in caso di incidente,

causando delle ferite gravi o mortali.

UN CASCO SU MISURA

Ogni casco, dalla XS alla XL, è concepito

per una taglia di testa precisa. Per misurare la

propria testa utilizzare un metro da sartoria,

misurare la circonferenza orizzontalmente

2,5 cm sopra le sopracciglia. Se la misura si

trova tra due taglie provare per prima la taglia

più piccola. Tuttavia, per causa delle differenti

morfologie di cranio, i riferimenti delle taglie

servono solo ad orientare la scelta della

talgia più adatta alla propria testa. Per una

protezione efﬁcace è necessario veriﬁcare che

il casco corrisponda bene alla propria testa.

Quando si sceglie un nuovo casco, veriﬁcare

che la testa sia ben inﬁlata dentro al casco,

la parte alta del campo visivo dev’essere

posizionata sopra le sopracciglia. Veriﬁcare

anche che il cinturino sia correttamente stretto

come indicato di seguito.

1. la testa dev’essere ben avviluppata dal

casco e i guanciali devono apportare un buon

mantenimento. Nel caso contrario il casco

scelto è troppo grande, provare dunque una

taglia più piccola. Vedere la ﬁgura A.

2. Con il cinturino correttamente allacciato,

assicurarsi che il casco non si muova troppo

da sinistra a destra e dall’alto al basso. Quando

si muove il casco si deve sentire la pelle tirare

a livello della testa e del viso. Se non è così

il casco scelto è troppo grande, provare una

taglia più piccola. Vedere la ﬁgura B.

UN CASCO SU MISURA

3. con il cinturino allacciato, prendere il casco

dalla base posteriore e provare a sﬁlarlo dalla

testa con un movimento rotativo. Provare poi

a sﬁlare il casco prendendolo dalla base della

mentoniera. Questi movimenti devono essere

fatti in maniera sufﬁcientemente energica. Se

il casco inizia a scalzarsi, il casco è troppo

grande, provare una taglia più piccola.

4. Inclinare la testa verso l’avanti il più

possibile. La base della mentoniera non deve

toccare il petto. Vedere la ﬁgura C.

5. Inclinare la testa verso dietro il più possibile,

la base del casco non deve toccare la schiena.

Vedere la ﬁgura D.

Non avere i capelli intrecciati o allacciati all’in-

terno del casco. Non mettere niente in mezzo

o sopra i capelli all’interno del casco. Non

aggiungere niente all’interno del casco per

aggiustare la posizione della testa. Per ogni

domanda riguardante la scelta della buona

taglia del casco, chiedere consiglio al proprio

rivenditore. Tutte queste prove devono essere

ripetute durante tutta la vita del casco, poichè

la gommapiuma del comfort può evolvere col

passare del tempo. Se, nel corso della vita

del casco, quest’ultimo non conserva una

taglia corretta, bisognerà sostituirlo. Non

prestare mai il proprio casco senza essersi

assicurati, seguendo le istruzioni del libretto,

che convenga bene alla persona a cui viene

prestato.

ATTENZIONE! Nessun casco può

proteggere completamente l’uti-

lizzatore da tutti gli urti possibili ad alta

o bassa velocità. Tuttavia, per una protezione

efﬁcace, il casco dev’essere della buona taglia

e il cinturino dev’essere allacciato corretta-

mente come indicato nel libretto. È pericoloso

utilizzare un casco che non sia della buona

taglia o con il cinturino non allacciato cor-

rettamente, il casco potrebbe separarsi dalla

testa in caso di incidente, causando delle ferite

gravi o mortali.

Indossare il casco

Dopo aver aperto il gancio del cinturino,

per indossarlo, è necessario afferrarlo a

livello degli attacchi del cinturino e spos-

tarlo leggermente verso l’esterno, in modo

da sempliﬁcare il passaggio della testa. Si

raccomanda, durante lo stesso movimento,

di mantenere, con i pollici, le 2 parti del

cinturino verso l’esterno per garantirne un

corretto posizionamento.

Posizionare correttamente le parti di prote-

zione del gancio del cinturino e chiuderlo

facendo riferimento ai consigli.

Veriﬁcare che la tensione, e quindi il mante-

nimento in posizione del casco, sia corretta

in tutte le posizioni.

In caso contrario, è tassativo ripetere la re-

golazione della lunghezza ﬁno a ottenere un

mantenimento in posizione ottimale.

Togliere il casco

Slacciare il cinturino, spostare leggermente

ogni lato, afferrare il casco procedendo

come quando è stato indossato, quindi

toglierlo.

ATTENZIONE! Se non si riesce ad

allacciare correttamente il cinturino,

o se non si riesce a calzare correttamente

il casco in testa, NON UTILIZZARE IL CASCO

! Contattare il rivenditore per l’assistenza.

PER MONTARE IL KIT:

1. Collocare la parte laterale degli occhiali

davanti al gancio (ﬁg. A).

2. Innestare la pinza sulla parte laterale, ﬁno

a quando la stessa formerà un tutt’uno con il

bordo della mascherina (ﬁg. B).

3. Eseguire la stessa operazione sull’altro

lato.

PER SMONTARE IL KIT:

Basta sganciare la parte plastica ﬁssata alle

fasce elastiche sui lati degli occhiali (ﬁg. C).

SMONTAGGIO.

Gli occhiali possono essere facilmente

smontati dalla mascherina grazie al loro sis-

tema di ﬁssaggio. Una semplice trazione è

sufﬁciente per estrarre i perni e rimuovere la

mascherina (ﬁg. D).

PULIZIA DEGLI INTERNI

Le parti tessili interne sono lavabili ; è

importante, al fine di non deteriorarli, di

seguire scrupolosamente i consigli seguenti

: i guanciali e la cuffia devono essere lavati

a mano, con acqua insaponata e tiepida

(30°circa). Non utilizzare prodotti detergenti

aggressivi, ma solo detergenti per tessuti

delicati a dosi ridotte, oppure del sapone di

Marsiglia. E’ indispensabile far asciugare

completamente, prima dell’utilizzo, i tessuti

e la gommapiuma. L’asciugatura dev’essere

effettuata a temperatura ambiente. Non sti-

rare mai le parti tessili. Per le parti di finta

pelle o i tessuti uniti ad elementi di sicu-

rezza, utilizzare una spugna o un panno

leggermente umido con un po’ di sapone di

Marsiglia, poi risciacquare con acqua. Evitare

di bagnare troppo gli elementi in polistirolo.

È indispensabile assicurarsi che tutte le parti

interne siano perfettamente asciutte prima di

utilizzare il casco.

ATTENZIONE! Danneggiare la gommapiuma

interna compromette la buona taglia del casco.

Se non è ben aggiustato alla testa, il casco può

scalzarsi, lasciando così la testa senza prote-

zione e causare delle ferite gravi e anche fatali.

I TESSUTI

I tessuti e la gommapiuma per il comfort del

STREET-DRAK permetteranno di apprezzare al

meglio le prestazioni del casco. Le parti in

contatto con la pelle sono fatte con un tessuto

che garantisce una piacevole sensazione, un

buon assorbimento del sudore oltre ad una

buona tenuta all’invecchiamento. Grazie ad un

trattamento in superficie il rischio di muffe e

batteri è limitato.

ATTENZIONE ! Malgrado che siano selezio-

nati per le loro qualità di resistenza e di tenu-

ta nel tempo, tutte le parti che abbigliano l’interno

sono sottoposte alla normale usura, dipendente

dalla cura, dalla manutenzione, dal tempo di uti

lizzo ma anche dalle caratteristiche di acidità del

vostro sudore. Se si constata un invecchiamento,

consigliamo di sostituire le imbottiture interne in

modo da conservare nel tempo un casco perfetta-

mente pulito e che assicuri il comfort necessario.

Il proprio rivenditore potrà proporre gli accessori di

ricambio, oltre a proporre in opzione dei guanciali

di spessore e densità differenti nel caso la scelta

standard non corrisponda alla morfologia del pro-

prio viso.

ATTENZIONE ! Ogni volta che si indossa il

casco, verificare che corrisponda bene alla

proprio testa, come spiegato.

TESUTI

RIMOZIONE

- Separare le due parti del cinturino.

- Estrarre la cinghia sottogola dal suo pas-

sante (ﬁg. A).

- Staccare le chiusure a velcro delle due

guance e farle scivolare lungo le cinghie del

sottogola per rimuoverle (ﬁg. B).

Rimuovere il paranuca dal suo alloggio (C).

Passare la mano tra la testa ed il polistirolo

e sganciare la parte di plastica frontale sol-

levandola con la punta delle dita (D). Rimuo-

vere la testa.

ATTENZIONE! L’interno è un ele-

mento essenziale per il buon mante-

nimento del casco sulla testa. Se persistono

dubbi sul montaggio o lo smontaggio degli

interni non utilizzare il casco. Contattare il

prorio rivenditore per assistenza e consigli.

Non utilizzare mai un casco al quale manca

un qualsiasi componente del suo interno,

non la proteggerà in caso di incidente.

INSTALLAZIONE

Rimettere tutta la parte di plastica del para-

nuca nel suo alloggio (Fig. A).

Inserire la parte anteriore della testa ini-

ziando dalla linguetta centrale (A) all’altezza

della freccia incavata (Fig. B).

- Inserire la cinghia sottogola nel suo pas-

sante (ﬁg. D).

- Fissare poi le chiusure a velcro (ﬁg. C).

ATTENZIONE! Il calottino e la cuffia inter-

na sono fatti per andare perfettamente

in testa. In caso di incidente, un casco che

non è della proria taglia può sfilarsi, lasciando

così la testa senza protezione e causare delle

ferite gravi o fatali. Se non si è sicuri che gli

interni siano correttamente montati, non utiliz-

zare il casco. Contattare il proprio rivenditore per

assistenza e consiglio.

GARANZIA 5 ANNI

CONDIZIONI SPECIFICHE DELLA GARANZIA 5 ANNI

SHARK (2 ANNI LEGALI + 3 ANNI DI ESTENSIONE GRATU-

ITA).

Hai recentemente acquistato un casco Shark per sal-

vaguardare la tua sicurezza e aumentare il tuo piacere di

guida. Questo casco è stato progettato con estrema cura

per soddisfare ogni tua necessità. Per la tua sicurezza e

quella del tuo passeggero, devi rispettare tutte le regole

in vigore ed essere particolarmente prudente durante la

guida di un veicolo a due ruote.

La garanzia di 5 anni SHARK assicura all’acquirente ini-

ziale che ogni difetto di fabbricazione o legato ai materiali

utilizzati sarà coperto dalla garanzia SHARK.

LIMITAZIONI

Se durante il periodo di garanzia (5 anni dalla data di ac-

quisto) si presentasse un problema coperto dalla stessa,

SHARK, attraverso l’intermediario della sua rete di vendita,

si impegna a riparare o rimpiazzare ogni componente dif-

ettoso, ﬁno al raggiungimento di un limite massimo che

equivale al costo del casco al momento dell’acquisto. Gli

eventuali costi di manodopera saranno sostenuti dalla rete

SHARK, ma dovranno essere approvati prima che l’inter-

vento venga effettuato.

Se la riparazione richiedesse una spedizione comportante

delle spese di trasporto, la rete SHARK si limiterà a pren-

dere a proprio carico le spese equivalenti al costo di un

trasporto attraverso il servizio postale nazionale alla tariffa

standard.

ESCLUSIONI

Questa garanzia copre esclusivamente i problemi legati ai

materiali ed alla fabbricazione. La responsabilità di SHARK

relativamente al prodotto non potrà mai essere evocata nei

seguenti casi:

Ogni danno causato da:

1) Una caduta o un incidente;

2) Una modiﬁca tecnica effettuata dall’utente o da terzi

(colla, adesivo, verniciatura, viti, ecc.);

3) Utilizzo o contatto con: prodotti chimici dannosi (incluso

alcol denaturato durante la pulizia della visiera), o fonti di

calore particolarmente intense;

4) Uso incorretto: condizioni anormali (es. sottacqua), as-

senza di manutenzione o cura;

5) Invecchiamento, dovuto al normale utilizzo, dei tessuti e

delle imbottiture interne, aspetto delle parti esterne o della

visiera (grafﬁ, segni, ecc.);

6) Esposizione prolungata e anormale ai raggi UV, in parti-

colar modo per quanto concerne ii colori della decorazione.

7) i colori fluorescenti (vernici e/o decalchi) su alcuni mod-

elli della gamma SHARK Helmets possono attenuarsi col

tempo e con l’esposizione agli elementi esterni senza che

questo possa essere considerato un difetto.

Le buone pratiche per la manutenzione del vostro casco.

I colori fluorescenti possono variare col tempo e con l’es-

posizione ripetuta ai raggi UV (ultravioletti). Per attenuare

questo effetto e preservare i colori originali del vostro

casco, SHARK Helmets vi raccomanda di sistemarlo al

riparo della luce e di evitare le esposizioni prolungate,

dirette o indirette, del vostro casco ai raggi UV. Inoltre, la

garanzia SHARK non copre eventuali problemi del prodotto

assimilabili a considerazioni soggettive del pilota: problemi

riguardanti il comfort, la taglia, la rumorosità o eventuali

ﬁschi, aerodinamicità, ecc. SHARK non potrà essere rite-

nuta responsabile per il temporaneo inutilizzo del casco

durante le eventuali procedure di evoluzione dello stesso

tese a soddisfare le richieste del proprietario. In ogni caso,

il periodo massimo di garanzia è di 5 anni. La sostituzione

di un qualsiasi componente durante questo periodo non

prolunga questo lasso di tempo prestabilito.

PROCEDURE

Al momento dell’acquisto il modulo di garanzia compren-

dente tutte le informazioni deve essere compilato e risped-

ito a SHARK SA dall’acquirente.

Tutte le richieste di intervento sotto garanzia devono es-

sere inoltrate al concessionario SHARK che ha venduto il

casco. Per far sì che la richiesta di intervento sia accettata,

l’acquirente deve notiﬁcare al concessionario il problema

riscontrato e consegnare il casco oggetto del reclamo

insieme al modulo di garanzia compilato al momento

dell’acquisto.

Questa garanzia non interferisce con i diritti legali dell’ac-

quirente previsti dalle direttive nazionali.

Gli effetti di questa garanzia speciﬁca e limitata nel tempo

si esauriscono dopo un periodo di 5 anni dalla data d’ac-

quisto. Dopo questo periodo, se si continua a utilizzare il

casco regolarmente, raccomandiamo di sostituirlo, al ﬁne

di usufruire di un comfort e una protezione ottimali. In ef-

fetti, alcune cause esterne, come usura generale o alcuni

urti, possono pregiudicare le caratteristiche di sicurezza di

questo accessorio di protezione essenziale.

LIMITI DI GARANZIA

SHARK si riserva il diritto di realizzare interventi in garan-

zia ricorrendo a pezzi di ricambio montati di serie sulle

versioni più recenti e compatibili con il modello in oggetto,

e non può in alcun caso garantire la perfetta armonizzazi-

one della verniciatura e degli elementi decorativi riguard-

anti produzioni speciﬁche e/o edizioni limitate. Inoltre, il

naturale deterioramento dei colori col passare del tempo

può portare a una non corrispondenza tra i colori del casco

LEGAL INFORMATION: this helmet was speciﬁcally

designed for motorcycle use. It is not to be subjected to any

technical modiﬁcation. In order to offer an adequate level

of protection, this helmet has to be properly adjusted and

securely ﬁtted. Any helmet which has been subjected to a

severe impact must be replaced.

CAUTION: Do not apply any paint, stickers, petrol or any

other solvent to this helmet. The helmet STREET-DRAK

must be exclusively used with glasses of protection SHARK.

They are built with two screens: an outer shield and an

inner screen separated by an insulating air camera, making

it more difﬁcult for it to be penetrated.

The SHARK goggles meet the requirements of the European

EN 1938: 2010 F and are fully compliant with the criteria of

Class 2 of Directive 89/686/ECC EN 1938: 2010. They are

identiﬁed by the number ACE 7600.

To keep the good optical quality of the visor and the coa-

tings do not use any solvent, petrol, abrasive paste or

similar products for cleaning. We advise to use a soft rag

with cool water and mild soap. Visors printed “DAYTIME

USE ONLY” must not be used at night or in poor visibility

conditions.

neuse (savon de Marseille) et d’utiliser seulement ensuite

ne se prêtent pas à une utilisation de nuit ou dans des

conditions de mauvaise visibilité.

diesem Helm. Der Helm STREET-DRAK darf ausschließlich

durch eine isolierende Luftkammer getrennt werden. Diese

macht es noch schwieriger durchdrungen zu werden.

Die SHARK Schutzbrille entspricht dem Anspruch der euro-

päischen EN 1938: 2010F und ist absolut konform mit der

Klasse 2 der Direktive 89/686/ECC EN 1938: 2010. Dieses

Visier ist aus Polycarbonat. Um die gute optische Qualität

des Visiers und der Beschichtungen zu erhalten, benutzen

Sie weder Lösungsmittel, Benzin, Polierpaste noch ähnliche

Produkte zum Reinigen. Wir empfehlen ein weiches Tuch

mit kaltem Wasser und mildem Reinigungsmittel. Visiere

mit der Aufschrift “DAYTIME USE ONLY” dürfen nachts oder

bei schlechter Sicht nicht benutzt werden.

WARNUNGEN und ANWEISUNGEN

1. Dieser Helm ist ausschließlich zum

Motorradfahren auf Straßen und anderen

befestigten Oberflächen ausgelegt. Benutzen Sie

diesen Helm nicht im Gelände, auf Motorschlitten,

in Autos oder dergleichen.

2. Fahren Sie stets vorsichtig. Dieser Helm

entspricht vielen der weltweit strengsten

Maßstäbe und Prüfnormen für Schutzhelme

oder übertrifft sie sogar. Kein Helm ist jedoch in

der Lage, den Träger vor sämtlichen denkbaren

Verletzungen bei Kollisionen mit hoher oder

niedriger Geschwindigkeit zu schützen. Jede

Sicherheitsausstattung hat Grenzen, und daher

können Sie auch mit Helm bei einem Unfall eine

Kopfverletzung davontragen. Um bestmöglich vor

dauerhaften gesundheitlichen Schäden oder sogar

tödlichen Unfallfolgen zu schützen, muss der Helm

straff auf dem Kopf sitzen und der Kinnriemen

sicher geschlossen sein wie in dieser Anleitung

beschrieben.

3. Der Helm ist darauf ausgelegt, die Energie

einer schweren Kollision zu absorbieren, wobei

die Helmschale und/oder die Innenausstattung

teilweise zerstört werden. Dieser Schaden kann

von außen unsichtbar bleiben. Bei einem Aufprall,

und sei es, dass der Helm lediglich auf den Boden

fällt, sollte er daher zur Begutachtung eingereicht

oder ersetzt und vernichtet werden – selbst wenn

er augenscheinlich unbeschädigt wirkt. Wenn Sie

sich nicht sicher sind, ob diese „Ein-Aufprall“-

Regel angewendet werden muss, wenden Sie

sich an Ihren Händler, bevor Sie den Helm erneut

verwenden.

4. Wie alle Produkte unterliegt auch ein Helm mit

der Zeit einer gewissen Abnutzung und Verschleiß

in Abhängigkeit von den Einsatzbedingungen. Bitte

prüfen Sie Ihren Helm bei jeder Benutzung auf

Schäden und Verschleiß. Der Helm sollte stets straff

am ganzen Kopf anliegen. Ist das nicht der Fall, so

ist er Ihnen zu groß geworden und muss ersetzt

werden. Fahren Sie niemals mit einem beschädigten

Helm. Selbst ohne äußerliche Beschädigungen oder

Verschleißerscheinungen empfehlen wir, den Helm

spätestens fünf Jahre nach dem Kauf zu ersetzen.

5. Modifizieren Sie Ihren Helm in keiner Weise.

Bohren oder schneiden Sie keine Komponenten

des Helms heraus. Modifikationen können die

Schutzfunktion Ihres Helms schwer beeinträchtigen.

6. Gehen Sie sorgfältig mit Ihrem Helm um. Setzen

Sie sich nicht darauf und vermeiden Sie es, ihn

fallen zu lassen. Hängen Sie ihn beim Fahren nicht

an das Motorrad.

7. Reinigen Sie keinen Teil des Helms mit Petroleum,

petroleumhaltigen Produkten oder anderen

organischen Lösungsmitteln. Setzen Sie den Helm

auch nicht den Dämpfen solcher Lösungsmittel

aus, beispielsweise indem Sie ihn auf dem

Tankverschluss des Motorrads ablegen. Diese

Stoffe können Ihren Helm unbemerkt beschädigen

und seine Schutzwirkung dadurch schwer

beeinträchtigen. Reinigen Sie den Helm und das

Visier ausschließlich mit milder Seife, lauwarmem

Wasser und einem weichen Tuch.

8. Tragen Sie keine Farbe auf die Helmschale

oder das Visier auf und versehen Sie sie nicht

mit Aufklebern oder Klebeband. Auch das kann

Ihren Helm unbemerkt beschädigen und seine

Schutzwirkung schwer beeinträchtigen.

Durch das Tragen des Helms werden das Gehör, das

periphere Sehvermögen und die Bewegungsfreiheit

des Kopfes eingeschränkt. Passen Sie Ihren Fahrstil

diesen Einschränkungen an.

10. Trocknen Sie den Helm bei Zimmertemperatur.

Erhitzen Sie den Helm niemals über 70°C. Solche

Temperaturen werden beispielsweise an warmen

Tagen in geschlossenen Autos erreicht.

11. Haben Sie Anmerkungen oder Fragen zu Ihrem

Helm, wenden Sie sich bitte direkt an STREET-DRAK

oder Ihren nächstgelegenen Händler.

STREET-DRAK kann nicht garantieren, dass

dieses Produkt den Benutzer bei sämtlichen

denkbaren Kollisionen bei hoher oder geringer

Geschwindigkeit vor jeglichen Verletzungen oder

Todesfolge schützt. Der Benutzer dieses Helms

In den USA dürfen Helme,

welche nur der ECE-Norm entsprechen,

nicht verwendet werden, außer sie entsprechen

auch der Norm DOT FMVSS 218.

ACHTUNG! Der STREET-DRAK Helm

ist nur als Jet Helm zugelassen. Die

Maske schützt nicht gegen Stürze auf das

Kinn.

DIE RICHTIGE GRÖSSE

WARNUNG! Kein Helm ist in der

Lage, den Träger bei sämtlichen

denkbaren Kollisionen bei hoher oder geringer

Geschwindigkeit vor jeglichen Verletzungen

zu schützen. Für optimalen Schutz muss der

Helm optimal passen und der Kinnriemen

muss sorgfältig geschlossen sein wie in

diesem Handbuch beschrieben. Mit einem

nicht perfekt passenden Helm oder nicht

sorgfältig geschlossenem Kinnriemen zu

fahren ist gefährlich, da sich der Helm bei

einem Unfall vom Kopf lösen könnte. Dadurch

können schwere Kopfverletzungen bis hin zur

Todesfolge eintreten.

DIE RICHTIGE GRÖSSE

Jede Helmgröße von XS bis XL ist auf

einen bestimmten Kopfumfang ausgelegt.

Messen Sie Ihren Kopfumfang mit einem

Bandmaß waagerecht etwa 2,5 cm über

den Augenbrauen. Falls Ihr Kopfumfang

zwischen zwei ganzzahligen Werten

liegt, versuchen Sie zunächst die kleinere

Helmgröße. Aufgrund der von Mensch zu

Mensch unterschiedlichen Kopfformen

gibt der Kopfumfang jedoch nur einen

ungefähren Hinweis. Um die bestmögliche

Schutzwirkung zu erzielen, prüfen Sie, ob

die Passform des Helms optimal zu Ihrer

Kopfform passt. Ziehen Sie einen neuen

Helm bei der Anprobe unbedingt so weit

wie möglich herunter, so dass der obere

Rand des Gesichtsausschnitts unmittelbar

über den Augenbrauen liegt, und schließen

Sie den Kinnriemen sorgfältig wie auf der

nächsten Seite beschrieben.

1. Der Helm muss am ganzen Kopf

straff anliegen und besonders an den

Wangenpolstern recht stramm sitzen. Ist

das nicht der Fall, so ist er Ihnen zu groß.

Wählen Sie in diesem Fall eine kleinere

Größe. Siehe Abbildung A.

2. Bei geschlossenem Kinnriemen darf

sich der Helm weder seitlich noch von

oben nach unten weit gegenüber dem

Kopf verschieben lassen. Beim Versuch,

den Helm zu verschieben, sollten Sie an

der Haut einen Widerstand spüren. Falls

nicht, ist der Helm Ihnen zu groß und Sie

müssen eine kleinere Größe wählen. Siehe

Abbildung B.

3. Fassen Sie den Helm hinten am unteren

Rand und versuchen Sie, ihn vom Kopf zu

streifen. Drücken Sie den Helm dann am

Kinnschutz nach oben. Drücken und ziehen

Sie bei diesen Tests mit relativ hoher Kraft.

Beginnt der Helm sich vom Kopf zu lösen,

ist er zu groß. Wählen Sie dann eine kleinere

Größe.

4. Beugen Sie den Kopf so weit wie möglich

nach vorn. Der Kinnschutz darf dabei Ihre

Brust nicht berühren. Siehe Abbildung C.

5. Beugen Sie den Kopf so weit wie möglich

nach hinten. Der Helm darf dabei Ihren

Rücken nicht berühren. Siehe Abbildung D.

Wickeln Sie keinesfalls Ihr Haar in den

Helm und tragen Sie unter dem Helm

keine Gegenstände im Haar. Führen Sie

auch keine zusätzlichen Polster ein, um

die Position des Helms auf dem Kopf zu

verändern.

Bei Fragen zum korrekten Sitz des Helms

wenden Sie sich an Ihren Fachhändler.

Jeder von diesen Tests muss regelmäßig

wiederholt werden, weil sich die Polsterung

im Laufe der Zeit abnutzen oder sonstwie

verändern kann. Sobald der Helm nicht

mehr korrekt auf dem Kopf sitzt, müssen

Sie ihn ersetzen.

WARNUNG! Leihen Sie anderen niemals

Ihren Helm, ohne zu prüfen, ob er im

Sinne dieser Anleitung korrekt sitzt.

WARNUNG! Falls der Helm im Sinne

dieser Anleitung in keiner Größe auf

Ihrem Kopf korrekt sitzt, FAHREN SIE NICHT

MIT DIESEM HELM. Wählen Sie in diesem Fall

einen anderen Helm.

KINNRIEMEN

Ihr Commuter ¾ Helmet-Helm ist je nach Version

und Land mit einem Kinnriemen mit dem Schnell-

schnappverschluss „Precise Lock“ oder einem Kinn-

riemenverschluss mit Doppelring ausgestattet.

PRECISE LOCK

Das Schnappsystem „Precise Lock“ bietet Ihnen

eine feine und präzise Einstellung dank der

ansehnlichen Länge seines gezahnten Teils. Es

ist jedoch unerlässlich, dass bei Ihrem Kauf die

Länge des Kinnriemens Ihrer Anatomie ange-

passt wird. Passen Sie die Länge des Riemens

mit Hilfe der Einstellschnalle an (Abb. A, B, C, D).

Ziehen Sie Ihren Commuter ¾ Helmet-Helm auf

und schließen Sie den Kinnriemen. Wenn der

„Precise Lock“ in der mittleren Position ein-

rastet , muss der Kinnriemen richtig unter dem

Kinn gespannt sein, um einen ungehinderten

und schmerzfreien festen Halt des Helms zu

gewährleisten.

Um den Kinnriemen zu schließen, wird einfach

die Lasche in die dafür vorgesehene Stelle im

Verschluss gesteckt, bis die Spannung einwand-

frei ist (Abb. E). Die Lasche klinkt sich ein und

blockiert sich automatisch.

Um den Kinnriemen zu öffnen, muss am Hebel

gezogen (Abb. F) und die Lasche aus dem

Verschluss genommen werden. Auch wenn die

verzahnte Lasche es ermöglicht, die Einstellung

bei jeder Benutzung zu verfeinern, ist es wichtig,

häufig zu überprüfen, ob die Einstellung der

Riemenlasche richtig ist. Je nach Version

und Land kann der STREET-DRAK mit einem

Kinnriemenverschluss mit Doppelring ausge-

stattet sein . Führen Sie den längeren Teil des

Riemens durch beide Ringe; dabei sollte das

Riemenpolster zwischen Kinnriemen und Ihrem

Hals sitzen. Führen Sie anschließend das Ende

des Kinnriemens durch die beiden Ringe und

ziehen Sie an, bis Sie einen Widerstand des

Riemens und leichten Druck am Hals spüren.

Der Druck darf nicht so groß sein, dass Ihre

Atmung behindert wird.

WARNUNG!

Nie mit dem nicht angeschnallten

oder unzureichend gespannten Kinnriemen

fahren. Auch wenn die Innenverkleidung Ihnen ein

Gefühl des Halts vermittelt, kann sich Ihr Helm bei

einem Sturz lösen.

KINNRIEMEN

WARNUNG! Schließen Sie den Kinnriemen

niemals allein mit der Halteschlaufe. Um

den Kinnriemen ordnungsgemäß zu schließen,

ist es unbedingt erforderlich, ihn durch

die beiden D-Ringe zu führen. Anderenfalls

wird sich der Helm bei einem Unfall vom Kopf

lösen, so dass Ihr Kopf völlig ungeschützt ist.

Das kann zu schweren Kopfverletzungen

bis hin zum Tod führen. Ziehen Sie den

Kinnriemen versuchsweise nach unten.

Falls er sich dabei zu lösen beginnt, ist

der Doppel-D-Ring-Verschluss nicht

ordnungsgemäß geschlossen. Wiederholen

Sie in diesem Fall die beschriebene

Vorgehensweise. Fahren Sie nicht mit diesem

Helm, falls Sie nicht sicher sind, ob der

Verschluss korrekt geschlossen ist. Wenden Sie

sich in diesem Fall an Ihren Fachhändler.

A - Führen Sie den längeren Teil des Riemens

durch beide Ringe. Achten Sie darauf, dass

das Riemenpolster zwischen Riemen und Ihren

Wangen gut sitzt.

B - Schlingen Sie das Ende des Riemens

um den äußeren D-Ring und führen Sie den

Riemen durch den inneren D-Ring zurück.

C - Ziehen Sie so lange am Riemenende, bis

der Riemen einwandfrei sitzt. Achten Sie unbe-

dingt darauf, dass der Kinnriemen am Hals sitzt

und nicht unter Ihrem Kinn; und so stramm wie

möglich, ohne Ihre Atmung zu behindern.

BENUTZUNGSHINWEISE

AUFSETZEN DES HELMS

Greifen Sie in beiden Fällen den offenen Kin-

nriemenverschluss auf Höhe der Kinnriemen

und ziehen ihn leicht nach Außen.

Es wird empfohlen, in der gleichen Bewe-

gung mit den Daumen die 2 Teile des Kin-

nriemens nach Außen zu halten, damit sie

richtig positioniert werden.

Positionieren Sie die Schutzteile des Kinn-

riemenverschlusses richtig und schließen

Sie den Kinnriemenverschluss durch Einfä-

delung der Lasche in die für diesen Zweck

vorgesehene Öffnung auf dem Verschluss.

Überprüfen Sie, ob die Spannung, also der

Halt des Helms in allen Positionen, einwand-

frei ist. Wenn dies nicht der Fall ist, müssen

Sie unbedingt die Länge neu einstellen,

indem sie durch den Eingriff im Stoff des

Metallschiebers

greifen bis der optimale Halt erreicht ist.

ABSETZEN DES HELMES

Ziehen Sie die Lasche des Kinnriemens he-

raus, indem Sie den Hebel des Verschlusses

nach unten drücken. Halten Sie Ihren Helm

auf die gleiche Weise wie für das Aufsetzen,

schieben Sie beide Seiten leicht auseinan-

der, nehmen Sie den Helm ab. Um sicher

zu gehen, können Sie den Kinnriemenver-

schluss wieder verschließen, um zu vermei-

den, dass die 2 Teile lose sind.

WARNUNG! Falls es Ihnen nicht

möglich ist, den Kinnriemen ord-

nungsgemäß zu schließen oder ihn so weit

zu schließen, dass der Helm straff auf dem

Kopf sitzt, BENUTZEN SIE DEN HELM NICHT!

Wenden Sie sich in diesem Fall an Ihren

Einzelhändler.

Der Helm STREET-DRAK soll mit der Schutzbrille

SHARK ausschließlich benutzt sein.

Die SHARK Schutzbrille wurde durch einen weltweit

Führenden auf diesem Gebiet entworfen, den

höchsten Standards folgend, um Ihre Augen vor

Wasser, Staub, Insekten und Steinen zu schützen.

Sie ist aufgebaut mit zwei Scheiben: eine äußere

und eine innere Scheibe, welche durch eine isolie-

rende Luftkammer getrennt werden. Diese macht

es noch schwieriger durchdrungen zu werden.

Die SHARK Schutzbrille entspricht dem Anspruch

der europäischen EN 1938: 2010F und ist absolut

konform mit der Klasse 2 der Direktive 89/686/ECC

EN 1938: 2010.

WARNUNG! Sie ist bezeichnet unter der

Nummer ACE 7600.SHARK brille für die

Kategorie Anzahl der Filter ist S1.

Der Bereich der Lichtdurchlässigkeit von weniger

als 75% des sichtbaren Lichts.

Die SHARK Brillen sind “Nicht geeignet für das

Fahren bei Nacht oder in der Dämmerung”.

Alle Transmissionsproﬁle basieren auf Daten

welche in Übereinstimmung mit ANSI Z80.3 EN

1938 und EN 1836 gelten.

Dieser Film schützt vor Kratzern, kann deren

Entstehen jedoch nicht verhindern. Verkratze oder

beschädigte Scheiben werden nicht ersetzt.

PFLEGE

Für den Schutz und die Erhaltung Ihrer SHARK

Schutzbrille wurde die Außenseite mit einem

kratzfesten Film versehen.Bitte reinigen Sie die

Schutzbrille nur mit warmen Wasser (unter 40

°C) und einem weichen Tuch (100% Baumwolle,

fusselfrei) und einer neutralen Seife wie die „Mar-

seilles Soap“.

WARNUNG! Verwenden Sie niemals

Fensterputzmittel (basierend auf Alkohol

oder anderem Lösungsmittel), diese Produkte kön-

nen das Visier beschädigen.

WARNUNG! Fahren Sie zu Ihrer eigenen

Sicherheit niemals mit einem Visier, das

Ihnen keine perfekte Sicht garantiert.

WARNUNG!

Der STREET-DRAK Helm

ist nur als Jet Helm zuge-

lassen. Die Maske schützt nicht gegen Stürze auf

das Kinn.

Wenn das

Schutzbrille

nach

längerer Nutzungsdauer keine Klare Sicht

mehr bietet, ersetzen Sie es umgehend. Fahren

Sie nicht mit einem zerkratzten, verschmutzten

oder beschlagenen

beeinträchtigter Sicht.
