Bestimmungsgemäße Verwendung
Das Thermometer misst über einen externen Tauchfühler die Temperatur im Bereich von -50 bis +80°C. Das
Thermometer ist solarbetrieben, wasserdicht vergossen (IP68) und dadurch absolut wartungsfrei. Der Fühler
ist fest angeschlossen und kann nicht ausgetauscht werden.
Das Gerät kann in Frontplatten eingebaut oder frei betrieben werden. Zum Betrieb ist eine Lichtquelle mit
mind. 100 Lux (z.B. kleine Lampe oder Tageslicht) erforderlich.
Die Spannungsversorgung erfolgt durch eine eingebaute Solarzelle.
Ein Betrieb in explosionsgefährdeten Bereichen bzw. die Anwendung bei Menschen und Tieren ist nicht
zulässig.
Eine andere Verwendung als zuvor beschrieben, kann zur Beschädigung dieses Produktes und zu
Verletzungen führen. Das gesamte Produkt darf nicht geändert bzw. umgebaut werden!

Aus Sicherheits- und Zulassungsgründen (CE) ist das eigenmächtige Umbauen und/oder Verändern des
Gerätes nicht gestattet.
Vermeiden Sie eine starke mechanische Belastung bzw. Vibrationen oder Stöße.
Das Gerät gehört nicht in Kinderhände. Es ist kein Spielzeug.
Lassen Sie Verpackungsmaterial nicht achtlos liegen. Dieses könnte für Kinder zu einem gefährlichen
Spielzeug werden.
In gewerblichen Einrichtungen sind die Unfallverhütungsvorschriften des Verbandes der gewerblichen
Berufsgenossenschaften für elektrische Anlagen und Betriebsmittel zu beachten.
Inbetriebnahme
Platzieren bzw. montieren Sie das Thermometer am gewünschten Ort.
Für den Einbau bereiten Sie bitte eine Öffnung mit den entsprechenden Einbaumaßen vor. Schieben Sie das
Thermometer von vorne in die Öffnung.
Der Fühler darf in keine ätzenden oder unter elektrischer Spannung stehende Flüssigkeiten eingetaucht
werden. Halten Sie den Fühler von drehenden Teilen fern.
Achten Sie darauf, dass die Fühlerleitung nicht durch Fensterscharniere etc. beschädigt werden.
Sobald ausreichend Licht auf die Solarzelle neben der Anzeige fällt, wird die Temperatur gemessen und
angezeigt. Das Modul enthält keine Batterien oder Akkus.
Reinigen Sie die Anzeige mit Solarzelle gelegentlich, um eine optimale Lichtzufuhr zu gewährleisten.
Wird der Messbereich über- oder unterschritten so wird im Display „--.- °C“ angezeigt.
Entsorgung
Elektronische Altgeräte sind Wertstoffe und gehören nicht in den Hausmüll. Ist das Gerät am
Ende seiner Lebensdauer, so entsorgen Sie es nach den geltenden gesetzlichen
Bestimmungen bei den kommunalen Sammelstellen. Eine Entsorgung über den Hausmüll ist
untersagt.

Intended Use
The thermometer measures the temperature within a range of -50 to +80°C via an external immersion sen-
sor. The thermometer is operated by solar energy; it is a water-proof moulding (IP68), and thus, it is absolute-
ly maintenance-free. The sensor is permanently attached and cannot be replaced.
The device can be mounted on front panels or operated independently. A light source with at least. 100 Lux
(e. g. a small lamp or daylight) is required to operate the product.
The voltage is supplied by a built-in solar cell.
Do not use in explosive areas or on persons or animals.
Any other use than described above is not permitted, it could cause damage to the product and personal
injury. No part of the product may be modified or rebuilt!
Observe the safety instructions in their entirety!

This product has been CE tested and complies with the required European guidelines.
The unauthorized conversion and/or modification of the product is inadmissible for reasons of safety and
approval (CE).
Avoid strong mechanical stress, vibrations or blows.
Keep the unit out of the reach of children. It is not a toy.
Do not leave packaging material unattended. It may become dangerous playing material for children.
On industrial sites, the accident prevention regulations of the association of the industrial workers’ society for
electrical equipment and utilities must be followed.
Getting started
Place or mount the thermometer in the desired location.
Prepare an opening with the appropriate installation measurements for the device. Push the thermometer
into the opening from the front.
The sensor must not be immersed into caustic or current carrying liquids. Keep the sensor away from rotat-
ing components.
Make sure that the sensor lead does not get damaged by window hinges etc.
Once sufficient light can reach the solar cell next to the display, the temperature will be measured and dis-
played. The module does not contain any batteries or rechargeable batteries.
Clean the display and the solar cell occasionally to ensure an optimum light supply.
If the temperature is outside of the measuring range, the display shows „—.- °C“.
Disposal
Electronic products are raw material and do not belong in the household waste. When the
device has reached the end of its service life, please dispose of it, according to the current
statutory requirements, at your local collecting site. Disposal in the domestic waste is not per-
mitted!
