6 - OVERVIEW
The CONNECT TX100N is a wireless DMX emitter that uses LumenRadio
CRMX technology (2.4GHz). This system allows the users to connect to
DMX enabled xtures wirelessly, several tens meters away from CRMX
receivers. CONNECT TX100N can transmit an entire DMX universe (512
channels).

8 - POWER SUPPLY
The TX100N can be powered by two different ways :
- from DCJack connector [4.75 - 28Vdc]
- from XLR5 connector [4.75 - 5.25Vdc]
Powering the system out of this range can cause malfunctions and the
destruction of the product.
When powered, the red power indicator turns on.
Powering from DCJack connector
Always check the compatibility of the DCJack connector before powering
the emitter. EXALUX
recommends using the USB-DCJack or DTAP-DCJack
cords provided with the device.
The CONNECT TX100N is delivered with an adhesive cable mount and zip
ties. You can lock the cable with zip tie to avoid unintentional cord
disconnection.
Powering from XLR5 connector
The TX100N embeds the PoD technology (Power Over DMX) which enables
to power the device from its XLR5 connector (+5Vdc on pin N°5). The DMX
signal and the PoD power supply have a common ground (Ground on pin
N°1). Always check the compatibility between devices before powering.
When using a DMX cable, check that the 5 pins of the XLR connectors are
electrically connected (on most DMX cables, only pins 1, 2 and 3 are
connected). Do not exceed a length of 2 meters.
9 - DMX INPUT
The CONNECT TX100N is designed for DMX equipments. It does not
support RDM protocol. The CRMX radio signal emitted by the TX100N
transmits the DMX signal sent to the XLR5 connector (1:GND / 2:DMX- /
3:DMX+).
The blue indicator DMX turns on when a valid DMX signal is received on
the XLR5.

- Hold (>3 seconds) : Unlink
10 - LINKING WITH RECEIVER(S)
To link the TX100N with receiver(s), follow this procedure :
- Make sure all devices to be paired are powered.
- Start the linking procedure by pressing the «LINK/UNLINK» pushbutton on
the emitter.
- During the linking period (~10s), the DMX signal is not transmitted. Any
unlinked receivers in range will automatically link to the emitter. Several
receivers can be linked to the same emitter during a single procedure.
- When the TX100N is linked to one or more receivers, the blue «STATUS»
indicator turns on.
11 - UNLINKING RECEIVER(S)
At any time, it is possible to unlink all receivers from the emitter. To do so,
press the «LINK/UNLINK» pushbutton during 3 seconds, until the «STATUS»
indicator blinks at 2,5Hz.
12 - RADIO
The antenna is manually adjustable (X: +90° / Y: 360°). Take care not to
exceed over this angle.
The antenna of the TX100N is removable. The antenna connector on
device is an SMA-female Jack, equipped with a 50 ohms coaxial cable.
Always check the compatibility of the antenna with the device. EXALUX™
recommends the use of the antenna provided with the unit.
To maximise the radio efficiency, it is recommended to install the device in
an open space, without any structure or metal objects. It is also
recommended to orient the antennas as shown in the illustration below:
