1. Product description
• PMR is astandard for FM communication on
the 446.0–446.1MHz frequency band.
• No license or training is required which means
that PMR 2-way radios can be used by anyone.
• Call signal
• Auto squelch
• 8 channels
• Range: up to 3 km line-of-sight.
• Batteries: 3×AAA/LR03 (sold separately)

4. Operation
4.1 Power On/Off
Power on:
Press and hold . Abeep will be heard and theselected channel
willdisplay.
Power off:
Press and hold . Abeep will be heard and thedevice and display
will shutoff.
4.2 Adjusting the volume
Eight volume settings are available, from 1LE (lowest) to 8LE (highest).
Theset volume will be displayed. Adjustas follows: Press[ ] to
increase and [ ] to decrease. Thecurrent set volume is displayed
when adjusting.
4.3 Receiving
Your two-way radio is always in receive mode when it is turned on.
Whenasignal is received theRX icon will appear.
4.4 Transmitting
Press and hold [ PTT ] to talk and transmit. TheTX icon will appear.
Hold theradio vertically with themicrophone about 5 cm from your
mouth while pressing thePTT button and speak in anormal tone of
voice. Release [ PTT ] when you are finished and wait for aresponse.
4.5 Roger beep
When thePTT button is released aroger beep is sent letting
thereceiver know that you have finished speaking and are ready
foraresponse.
4.6 Changing channels
Selecting from theeight available channels: Press , and aflashing
“1” will appear. Press[ ] or [ ] to select thedesired channel
(1to8). Press once to confirm theselection and to return to
normal display mode.
4.7 Call signal
Press to send atone and alert everyone listening in on
thesamechannel.
Using thecall signal: Innormal receiving mode, push once.
Atwo-second tone will be sent to all those listening on thesame
channel. Everyone within range should be able to hear thetone,
barring any interference.
5. Power saving feature
The power saving feature is designed to increase your battery life.
Iftheradio has not been used for over four seconds, thepower
saving mode will activate automatically and will reduce power
consumption. Thisfeature does not affect your ability to receive
transmissions. Duringany reception, your radio will automatically
revert to normal powermode.
6. Range
Range is determined by anumber of factors like buildings, terrain,
use in vehicles, etc. Thebest range is achieved by having aclear line
of sight between thetransmitter and receiver. Inoptimal conditions
themax range is approximately 3km.
7. Disposal
This product should be disposed of in accordance with local
regulations. Ifyou are unsure how to proceed, contact your
localauthority.

3. Preparing your walkie-talkie for use
3.1 Removing the belt clip
1. Pull thebelt clip latch away from theradio
torelease.
2. Then pull thebelt clip upwards.
3.2 Inserting the batteries
1. Remove thebeltclip.
2. Press thebattery cover and slide itdownwards.
3.3 Inserting the belt clip
1. Slide thebelt clip into theslot.
2. A click will be heard when thebelt clip is locked
intoplace.
3. Insert three AAA/LR03 batteries
according to themarkings in
thebattery compartment.
4. Refit thebattery cover
and beltclip.
• Note: Usethesame type of batteries. Nevermix new and
discharged batteries.
• These radios have apower saving feature, but it is always
agood idea to turn off theproduct with thepower switch when
theproduct is not inuse.
• Remove thebatteries from theproduct if you do not plan
to use it for anextended period of time to avoid therisk of
batteryleakage.
