IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS:

instruction concerning the use of the appliances by a person responsible
for their safety.
8. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do t play with the no
appliance.
9. Extreme caution must be exercised when using an appliance containing
hot water.
10. Do not allow the cord to touch the hot surface of the unit.
11. For protection against electric shock, do not immerse the unit including
the power base in water or any other liquid.
12. Always ensure that the lid is closed and do not lift it while water is
boiling. Scalding may occur if the lid is removed during the boiling cycle.
Do not touch the hot surfaces of the kettle.
13. Allow the unit to cool down befor cleaning. e
14. Not intended for outdoor use.
15. This kettle is intended for boiling water only. Do not heat any other liquid
or attempt to cook any food in this appliance.
16. Never place the kettle near hot surfaces.
17. No parts are dishwasher safe.
18. Do not exceed into the “MAX” water le vel indicator when filling, if the
kettle is overlled, boiling water may come out.
19. Do not hold the switch on as this may damage the auto shut-o
mechanism.
20. Carry or move the electric kettle only by its handle.
21. Avoid water spillage into the socket, connector, cord and alike.
22. Kettle body may get very hot, be careful when handling.
23. Use on a hard, at level surface only, to avoid interruption of air ow
underneath the appliance.

27. CAUTION: In order to avoid a hazard due to inadvertent resetting of the
thermal cutout, this appliance must not be supplied through an external
switching device, such as a timer, or connected to a circuit that is regularly

DESCRIPTION OF PARTS
HOW TO USE:
If you are using the kettle for the rst time, it is recommended that you clean your
kettle before use, by boiling a full kettle of water twice and then discarding the water.
1. To ll with water, pull up the lid handle. Fill the electric kettle with water
below the “MAX” water level mark.
NOTE: Do not exceed the “MAX” water level mark indicated on the
electric kettle and make sure to close the lid. Otherwise, the kettle will
not shut OFF automatically.
2. Insert the power cord into the power socket of the kettle. Plug the electric
cord into an electric outlet. Turn the switch ON by pushing down on the
on/o switch. The indicator light will light to indicate that the unit is on. up
The water will heat and the electric kettle will switch o automatically when
the water boils.
NOTE: Ensure the ON/OFF switch is clear of obstructions and the lid
is firmly closed. The electric kettle will not turn o automatically if the
ON/OFF switch is constrained.
3. Carefully lift the kettle from the power base and pour the hot water.
4. The kettle will not re-boil until the on/o switch is switched ON after 25
seconds to allow the kettle to cool down, then it can be switch ON again. ed
Note: Maximum capacity of kettle is 1.5L.
