IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS:
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be
followed, including the following.
1. Read all instructions carefully.
2. Before using the unit, check if the voltage indicated corresponds with
the convenience outlet (230Va.c.).

counter to avoid accidents.
7. This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children)
with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of
experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision
or instruction concerning the use of the appliances by a person
responsible for their safety.
8. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the
appliance.
9. Extreme caution must be exercised when using an appliance
containing hot water.
10. Do not allow the cord to touch the hot surface of the unit.
11. For protection against electric shock, do not immerse the unit
including the power base in water or any other liquid.
12. Always ensure that the lid is closed and do not lift it while water is
boiling. Scalding may occur if the lid is removed during the boiling
cycle. Do not touch the hot surfaces of the kettle.
13. Remove the kettle from the power base before lling or pouring. Do
not attempt to remove the kettle from the power base until it is
switched o, manually or automatically. Use the kettle only with the
supplied base. Do not use the base for other purpose.
14. Allow the unit to cool down before cleaning.
15. Not intended for outdoor use.
16. This kettle is intended for boiling water only. Do not heat any other
liquid or attempt to cook any food in this appliance.
17. Never place the kettle near hot surfaces .
18. No parts are dishwasher safe.
19. Do not exceed into the “M ” water level indicator when fillinAX g, if the
kettle is overlled, boiling water may come out.
20. Do not hold the switch on as this may damage the auto shut-o
mechanism.
21. Carry or move the electric kettle only by its handle .
22. Avoid water spillage into the socket, connector, cord and alike.
23. Kettle body may get very hot, be careful when handling.
24. Use on a hard,at level surface only, to avoid interruption of air ow
underneath the applianc e.
25. For household use only, not intended for any business purposes.
26. Do not use this unit other than its intended use.
27. Save this instruction manual for future reference.
DESCRIPTION OF PARTS:
HOW TO USE:
If you are using the kettle for the rst time, it is recommended that you clean your
kettle before use, by boiling a full kettle of water twice and then discarding the water.
1. Position the power base on a flat, -resistant surface, as close as heat
possible to a power outle t.
2. Follow cord routing in power base according to exit patterns. Proper cord
routing will result in the power base at when kettle is placed in base. Do
not operate kettle if power base is not at. If power base is not at, remove
kettle from power base and repeat cord placement instructions.
3. To ll with water, press the button to open the lid. Fill the electric kettle lid
with water below the “MAX” water level mark.
NOTE: Do not exceed the “MAX” water level mark indicated on the
electric kettle and make sure to close the lid.
4. Place the kettle into the power base. Plug the electric cord into an electric
outlet. Turn the switch ON by pushing down the on/o switch. The indicator
light will light indicating that the unit is in progress. The water will heat up
and the electric kettle will switch o automatically when the water boils.
NOTE: Ensure the ON/OFF switch is clear of obstructions and the lid
is firmly closed. The electric kettle will not turn oautomatically if the
ON/OFF switch is constrained .
