SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS - PART B
• Please read the instructions before using the product. • Please
keep the packaging for future reference since it contains important
information. • To ensure correct and safe installation, use and
functioning of the product, always follow these instructions carefully
and keep them for future reference. • Maintain interior lighting with a
dry cloth duster; do not use abrasives or solvents. Avoid liquids on all
electrical parts. • Keep packaging materials (e.g. plastic bags) out of
children’s reach.
WARNINGS:
•This product is not a toy.
• Not suitable for children under 36 months. Small parts. Choking
hazard.
• LED light is very bright. Do not stare at the operating light source.
Important Safety Instruction when using batteries: •Batteries should be
installed by an adult. • Different types of batteries and new and used
batteries are not to be mixed. •Batteries are to be inserted with the
correct polarity. • The supply terminals are not to be short-circuited.
• Rechargeable batteries are to be removed from the product before
being charged. • Rechargeable batteries are only to be charged under
adult supervision. • Non-rechargeable batteries are not to be charged.
• Exhausted batteries are to be removed from the product. • Remove
batteries when product is not in use for some time.
Disposal of the product. Your product is designed and manufactured
with high quality materials and components, which can be recycled
and reused. When this crossed-out wheeled bin symbol is attached to
a product it means the product is covered by the European Directive
2012/19/EC. Please inform yourself about the local waste disposal,
separation and collection system for electrical and electronic products.
Please act according to your local rules and do not dispose of your
old product with your normal household waste. The correct disposal of
your product will help prevent potential negative consequences for the
environment and human health.
The product – as well as all other products from the collection – is
designed, produced and tested in accordance with international/
European safety standards. We warrant that the product is free from
defects in materials and workmanship. This warranty is valid for two (2)
years (unless otherwise stated on the packaging). In case the product
turns out to be defective, we will arrange for repair or replacement free
of charge. Broken glass, batteries and replaceable bulbs do not fall
under the guarantee terms. The product is specifically designed and
developed for domestic use only, not for commercial, trade or industrial
use. Any damage caused to the product in extreme conditions (coastal
areas, industrial surroundings, farm environments) will not be covered
by the guarantee. The period of guarantee starts from the purchase
date and is only valid on presentation of the original receipt. The
guarantee is void if the product has not been installed, repaired or
modified according to the instructions. We do not accept any liability
for damage caused as a result of misuse or wrong application of the
