recommended that the tool is used if excessive wear is shown.
• Do not place limbs or body parts in the tube bending mechanism, crushing forces could cause injury to the operator or bystanders.
• Springbackwilloccurafterthebendiscomplete.Thelevelofspringbackisdependentonthebendandthetubingmaterialbeingbent.Alwaysallow
compensationforspringbackwhenexecutingabend.
• Stay alert, watch what you are doing and use common sense when operating or using this tool. Do not operate or use the tool while you are tired or under
theinuenceofdrugs,alcoholormedication.Amomentofinattentionwhileoperatingorusingthetoolmayresultinseriouspersonalinjury.Work
sensiblyatalltimeswithregularbreaksifnecessary.

Intended Use
The Silverline Mini Pipe Bender is a 3-in-1 tube bending tool for use with 6, 8 and 10mm / ¼", 5/16" and 3/8" annealed tubing. Precision bends of up to
180° are produced using the angle references on the bending guide.
Unpacking Your Tool
• Carefullyunpackandinspectyournewtool.Familiariseyourselfwithallitsfeaturesandfunctions.
• Ensurethatallpartsofthetoolarepresentandingoodcondition.Ifanypartsaremissingordamaged,havesuchpartsreplacedbeforeattemptingto
use this tool.
Before Use
Note: ApplyasuitablegreasegenerouslytotheBendingGuide(2),BendingDie(3),andallsurfacesofthepipethatcomeintocontactwiththePipeBender.
Operation
WARNING: ALWAYSweareyeprotectionaswellassuitablegloveswhenworkingwiththistool.
Bending instructions
Note:Whenperformingmeasurements,the‘R’and‘L’marksontheBendingDie(3),denotewhetherthebendmeasurementwasperformedfromtheright
ortheleftside,inrelationtothePipeGuide(1).Alignthecorrespondingmarkwiththemeasurementmarkonthetube.
• PositiontheShortHandle(4)clearofobstructiontothetubepath(Fig.I).
• With the pipe bender upright, place the tube in the size corresponding groove underneath, and parallel to, the Pipe Guide.
• SlowlybringtheShortHandledownwardstoperformthebend.Thebendiscompletewhenthe‘0’markingontheBendingDiealignswiththerequired
angle on the Bending Guide (2).
Note: Excessive pressure on the Bending Die may damage soft tubing.
Maintenance
Cleaning
• Keepyourtoolcleanatalltimes.Dirtanddustwillcauseinternalpartstowearquickly,andshortenthedevice’sservicelife.Cleanthebodyofyour
machine with a soft brush, or dry cloth.
Storage
• Store this tool carefully in a secure, dry place out of the reach of children.

• Amenezlentementlapoignéecourteverslebaspoureffectuerlecintrage.Lecintrageestterminélorsquelerepère"0"delamatricedecintrages'aligne
surl'anglerequissurleguidedecintrage(2).
Remarque : une pression excessive sur la matrice de cintrage peut endommager les tubes souples.
