INSTALLATION
BASE UNIT INSTALLATION SITE
It is important that the base station and cordless phone can receive
and transmit a good radio signal, so place the base station near:
- The socket for the telephone line. The socket (mains connection).
- The best location is in the center of the desired area. If you have
poor reception, try relocating the base station.
- Do not place it where it will be exposed to direct light and/or
moisture.
- The indoor range is 50 meters. Do not place the device near TVs,
computers or electrical devices as this may affect the range and
sound quality.

PLACEMENT AND INSTALLATION OF THE CORDLESS
TELEPHONE / BASE STATION
1. Plug one end of the AC/DC adapter into the connector on the
back of the station and the other end into the socket.(17)
2. Plug one end of the flat telephone cable into the port on the back
of the base station and the other end into the telephone(16)
jack.
3. Insert the batteries into the battery compartment on the back of
the cordless phone.
Open the battery compartment by gently pressing on the battery
compartment, pulling it down, and then lifting the cover. Insert
the batteries, making sure that the polarity is correct. (Note the
engraved characters on the inside of the compartment). Replace
the cover. In the case of the 7621 reference, proceed in the same
way with the additional cordless telephone.
4. Then place the cordless phone in the base station to charge
the batteries. The battery icon on the screen flashes, indicating
that the cordless phone is charging. Charge the batteries for 14
hours, which completes the installation. In the case of the 7621
reference, proceed in the same way with the additional cordless
phone in the base station to charge it.
5. The cordless phone is pre-programmed to connect to its base
and show SPC and the cordless telephone number on the
display. If it does not, disconnect the power cord from the base,
remove the batteries from the cordless phone, reconnect the
power cord to the base, and reinstall the batteries.
CALLER ID FEATURES
You can nd out who is calling you or who called you in your
absence. If caller ID is enabled on the line (you need to request the
service from your phone company, e.g. Movistar), the number of
the caller will appear on the screen. The device has 10 incoming
records.
CHECK INCOMING CALLS
If you have received a call and it has not been answered, the
symbol will be displayed on the screen until you check all incoming
calls.
To access the incoming calls list, follow the steps below:
- When the cordless phone is in idle mode, press the
/ key.
The screen will display the number of the call or the name if it is
stored in the address book.
- Press the key. The number is displayed on the screen.
- Press the key. The screen displays the day/month and hour/
minute.
- Press the key to return to the list of received calls.
- Press the / key repeatedly to scroll from the most recent to
the oldest calls.
- Press the key to return to the initial state.
NOTE: When the call list is full and a new call is received, the oldest call is deleted
from the list and the new call is stored in its place.
THREE-WAY CONFERENCE: 2 INTERNAL AND 1 EXTERNAL
If you have more than one cordless phone registered to the base
station, you can use this function to make a call between the
external call and two cordless phones.
To do this during an external call:
- Press the key. If you have only one other phone, it will ring
automatically. Otherwise, dial the number of the phone you want
to call.
- The other cordless phone starts ringing. Once the other cordless
phone answers, you can talk as if it were an internal call and the
external call will be put on hold.
- To start a three-way conference, press the button on the
cordless phone that initiated the call. is displayed CONFERENCE
on the screen. All three parties can now have a conversation.
PRECAUTIONS
- Please read the operating instructions before using the device.
Place the device on a stable surface.
- All parts of this device are intended for indoor use only. Do not
bring the phone into contact with water. Do not place the device
near a sink or shower, or in any other location where it may get
wet. This may cause damage. Never use the phone outdoors
during a thunderstorm. Disconnect the base station from the
telephone line and the power outlet. Damage may occur due
to power surges. If the base station falls into the water, do not
remove it when the adapter is connected to the power supply
and when the telephone cable is connected to the telephone line,
CHARGE INDICATOR
Permanent: The battery is fully charged.
Flashes when discharged 60%-30% and when charging
begins.
Battery is empty.
WARNING OUT OF RANGE
If during a call you notice that the call quality is deteriorating or
poor, it is because you are leaving the reception range. As soon as
the range is no longer given, the symbol flashes and SEARCH
appears on the display.
BASIC FUNCTIONS
TURNING THE CORDLESS PHONE ON AND OFF
To turn the cordless phone on or off, press and hold the key for
3 seconds.
DIALING WITH THE HANDSET ON-HOOK
Dial the number you want to call while the phone is in idle mode.
Use the key to delete digits if you make a mistake.
- Press the key to dial it. Press the key to end the call.
SELECT A NUMBER FROM THE LIST
When you are browsing the list and the name or number you want to
call appears on the screen, press the key.
DELETE ALL ENTRIES IN THE INCOMING CALLS LIST
- When the phone is in idle mode, press the
/
key to display
the last received number.
- Press the key. Press the / key until is DELETE ALL
selected, and then press .
- appears on the screen. Press CONFIRM? .
ADDRESS BOOK
This device has 50 memory locations for storing phone numbers
with up to 24 digits and names with up to 12 letters.
NOTE: If at any time you wish to exit the setting process, press the key
until you return to the initial screen. To delete letters or numbers, press the
key. To set a space, press 1.

- Do not place conductive materials such as keys, paper clips,
bracelets, etc. near the charging ports.
- Be sure to insert the batteries in the correct position.
The telephone line and power plug must be close to the
device, easily accessible and always connected for the
telephone to work.
NOTE: This device is not designed to make calls in the event of a
power failure. You will need an additional device that will operate
without a power connection.

with an incorrect type.

DIALING WITH THE HANDSET OFF-HOOK
- Press the key to pick up the line. Wait for the dial tone and dial
the number you want to call. Press the key to end the call.
Press twice for the handsfree function.
RECEIVE A CALL
When a call comes in, the cordless phone rings. (The cordless
phone does not ring when it is in idle mode).
- Press the key to accept the call. Press the key to end the
call.
ADJUST THE VOLUME
- If you are in a call and want to change the volume, press the
upper part of the
/
button to increase the volume or the
lower part of the / button to decrease the volume as many
times as you like until the desired volume is set. There are ve
levels available.
MUTE FUNCTION
- If you do not want to be heard by the other party, press the
key. MUTE is displayed on the screen.
- To return to normal mode, press the key again.
SEARCH FOR THE CORDLESS PHONE
To search or locate the cordless telephone, press the button (15)
on the bottom of the base. The cordless phone starts ringing and
LOCATE appears on the screen. When you have located the cordless
phone, press any key to stop the ringing.
ENTER NAME AND NUMBER
- While the phone is in standby mode, press the key to access the
ADDRESS BOOK and press .
- NEW ENTRY appears on the screen. Press . ENTER NAME
appears on the screen. Enter the name using the keypad and
press .
-ENTER NUMBER appears on the screen. Enter the number and
press .
- You can continue entering data into the address book or press
the key to return to the initial state.
SEARCH AND SELECT FROM THE ADDRESS BOOK
- When the phone is in standby mode, press the / key to
access the address book. The screen displays the rst contact
in alphabetical order.
- Press the / key to scroll through the address book or press
directly the key with the rst letter of the name.
- Press the key to make the call or press the key to return to
the initial state.

KEY LOCK
This function prevents accidental calls, but allows you to accept
incoming calls by pressing .
To activate and deactivate the function, press and hold the .
MUTE THE RINGTONE OF THE CORDLESS PHONE
You can easily turn off the ringtone of the cordless phone by
pressing and holding the key until appears on the screen.
Press and hold the same key to activate the ringtone. The icon
disappears.
SETTING THE RINGTONE OF THE CORDLESS PHONE
You can choose between 6 different ringtones, including . To do OFF
this, proceed as follows:
- Press the key. Press the / key until PERS. SETTINGS
is selected. Press .
- Press the / key until is selected. RINGTONE TELEPHONE
Press .
-RING VOLUME appears on the screen. Press . Press / to
select the ringtone volume and press .
- Press the key to return to the initial state.
NOTE: To change the melody, follow the same steps as above and select
RINGTONE with the / key instead of RING VOLUME.
ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS FOR REFERENCE 7621
INTERNAL CALLS
You can make free calls to each other with the cordless phones.
- When the phone is in standby mode, press the key. If youINT
have only one other cordless phone, it will ring automatically.
- If more than two cordless phones are registered, the number of
the cordless phones is displayed on the screen.
- Press the number of the cordless phone you want to talk to.
- The other cordless phone starts ringing. As soon as the other
party picks up the handset, you can start the call.
- To end the call, press the key.
FORWARD A CALL
You can transfer an external call from one cordless phone to
another. To do this, you must perform the following steps during the
external call itself:
- Press the button. If you have only one other cordless phone,
it will ring automatically. Otherwise, dial the number of the
cordless phone you want to call.
- The other cordless phone starts ringing. When the other cordless
phone picks up, you can speak as if it were an internal call.
- To transfer the external call to you, simply press the key on
the rst cordless phone.
