Safety
• Do not subject thelight to knocks or shocks.
• Thelight bulb cannot be replaced.
• This product must not be dismantled or modified in any way.
• Do not use theproduct if it or its charger is damaged in any way.
• Only use thesupplied charger cables.
Operating instructions
Charging
Note: Charge thelight for 6–8 hours before using it for thefirst time.
Switch thelight off before charging it.
12 V
1. Connect the12V charger cable to thelight and then plug it into
the12V socket.
2. TheLED indicator shines red when thelight is being charged and
changes to green when thebattery is fully charged.
3. Unplug thecharger cable from thepower point when thebattery
is fully charged.
Care and maintenance
• Clean theproduct using alightly moistened cloth. Use only mild
cleaning agents, never solvents or corrosive chemicals.
• If thelight is not to be used for along time, thebattery should be
fully charged every 4 to 5 months to prolong its capacity.
Troubleshooting guide
Thelight does not
come on, theLED
indicator does not
flash blue.
Thebattery is flat, charge it.
Thelight won’t
charge. TheLED
doesn’t come on.
12V
• Is thecharger cable undamaged and
securely connected to both the12V
socket and thelight?
• Check that the12 V socket is live.
Sometimes thevehicle ignition needs
to be switched on in order for the12V
socket to be live.
• Theplug of thecable contains a2Afuse
(20×5mm), check thefuse and change
it if necessary.
• This is how to do it:
1. Unscrew thecap of theplug and remove
thefuse.
2. Replace thefuse with anew one.
3. Screw thecap back on.
230V
• Is themains adaptor undamaged and
securely connected to both theelectrical
socket and thelight?
• Is theelectrical socket is live?
230 V
TheAC/DC mains adaptor has
aninterchangeable plug for use
in different European countries.
To change theplug:
1. Press in thespring catch
and detach theplug from
theadaptor.
2. Slide thenew plug
onto theadaptor until
thespring catch locks it
in place.
3. Connect the230V mains adaptor to thelight and then plug it into
anelectrical socket.
4. TheLED indicator shines red when thelight is being charged and
changes to green when thebattery is fully charged.
5. Unplug themains adaptor from thepower point when thebattery
is fully charged.
Disposal
This product should be disposed of in accordance with local regulations.
If you are unsure how to proceed, contact your local council.
